Alternative Decking Systems

I contacted a Chris about installing a 6 foot metal railing between my living room and entry way in my rental property. He was very accommodating at first and was able to find a way to give me an estimate that was in my budget. I let him know I wanted to move forward and gave him the contact information of my property manager. He said that a «Lee» would contact her and set up the time.
Over a week later, I found out that she was never contacted. I got a hold of Chris and he said that they had an «emergency» job up in L.A. they had to do but that the railing was on order and would be in in 1 – 2 weeks. I told him I understood but to please call me if anything like that happens. He agreed and said that «Lee» would contact my property manager.
Fast forward two weeks, and now he doesn’t answer the phone after multiple tries. I wasted a month of my time and the tenants aren’t happy. Now I have to start from scratch (and I will stick with recommended contractors from my property manager). The final verdict:
