History

Established in 2008.

Since 2008, Amber Lay Events has been helping couples, charities and companies pull off unimaginable events all over the West coast and beyond. It all started with the show «Whose Wedding is it Anyways» that shadowed wedding planners. As a senior in high school, the founder of Amber Lay Events, knew she had to get an internship with one of the planners on the show. A few months later, Amber packed up all her things and moved to LA for the opportunity of a lifetime. Shortly after her internship ended, Amber opened her own event coordinating company. It started with friends and family and hasn’t stopped growing since. While she loves the organizing and planning part of her job she was missing the creative outlet she needed so she decided it was time to take on floral design. Now Amber Lay Events is proud to be a full service and we mean FULL service event production company.

While completing her degree in Art & Design from San Diego State University, Amber interned with a LA celebrity event coordinator where she learned the ins and outs of the industry. From then on she continued to grow her network within the industry and worked for other coordinating, floral design, and even catering companies to gain further experience. Upon graduating, Amber worked with the world’s most well known party blog, Hostess with the Mostess, as the project coordinator. There she managed all of the corporate events and styled sponsored photo shoots while she made further connections in the industry. With her years of experience and connections Amber was ready to focus her undivided attention on Amber Lay Events and take it to the next level. Amber and her team are known for pulling off budget savvy events with unique style that are fun and have a beautiful flow.
