Established in 2011.

Thank you for expressing interest in Apollo Spa & Wellness, a one-​of-​a-​kind Advanced Holistic Spa & Wellness center in San Diego! Established by Alex Bondarenko — a European ‘transplant’ with a biochemistry background.

Being born and raised in Europe gave Alex an outlook on how transformational, advanced Aesthetics and natural (grannie’s) remedies can be.

The tranquil magic of the spa industry and ability to explore and work in South Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, India) taught him of its diverse way of relaxation and utilization of ancient practice of massaging techniques and aromatherapy.

Life in the USA turned him into a researcher leading to quite a few personal transformations considering diet, spirituality and alternative healing methods.

I have been going to Alex for 2 months now and my face is better than it’s ever been. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone wanting to improve their skin. I’ve had the Endermolift series which stimulates my natural hyaluronic acid and I can tell the difference. I’ve also had the dermal infusion and hydrafacial, which I will continue to do one or the other monthly because of how much softer and smoother my skin is. Alex has been teaching me all about skincare, and explains everything clearly. He uses truly natural products on my skin. He’s also helped me make better choices on other skin procedures I was looking into (services he doesn’t provide, but helped me with recommendations and research). I am a forever client!

I just had an Emdermolift and HydraFacial from Alex, owner of Apollo Spa. My skin feels so clean and fresh! I literally feel like I’m glowing! Alex is passionate about what he does. He takes the time to explain what each product and service can offer you based on your needs. He also has a soft touch that helps make the whole experience that much more relaxing. I have had quite a few facials in my time and I have to say, Alex is hands down the best at his practice!

Alex always does a great job in making my skin look fresh and young. I have started to receive compliments from my friends and colleagues telling me how I look younger and I am so happy to see the results for myself as well. I have tried Endermolift and Hydrafacial and i can say really WOW seeing the immediate measurable results. He is very accommodating and patient explaining the process of your chosen treatment. I have bought the series treatment because for one it saves me money in the long run and two I have seen the good results so I will continue taking care of my skin. I intend to try his other treatment options and can’t wait to see the amazing results and benefits it will give to my skin.
He is very knowledgeable in every aspect and never pushes anything for you to buy. His recommendations for skin care line are based from his training and experience that’s why I trust him.
True, it gets expensive to take care of your skin but hey it’s a better investment than any other vices you may have and having a radiant skin tremendously boosts your confidence up. It’s harder to treat your skin once you’ve neglected it so prevention is always the way to go!
I wasn’t forced nor paid to write a review here. It is my free will because I am a very satisfied client. I recommend you try his services and you won’t have any regrets but just an awesome glowing skin.

Wow, Alex is a magician! I’ve had countless facials and skin treatments in San Diego and yesterday’s facial by far yielded the most dramatic results. My skin is firmer and brighter, to the point where my husband who doesn’t notice anything even commented. I had purchased the Reader City deal for the HydraFacial but ended up upgrading to the EndermoLift and I’m so glad I did. I think the two work best together. I’ll update results as I plan to do a series…

I would have never thought that a man could deliver a great facial… I was so wrong. Alex has magic hands… I told him he should provide massage services too because I didn’t want to leave the facial table, I was so relaxed. His specials are such a great value too for having such a high demand aesthetician as Alex. Excellent, Marvelous! You can tell that Alex loves what he does… such a GEM!

I go to this beauty supply for years and I was approached with a new business opening flyer that Alex, the esthetician was distributing. I decided to go ahead and tried his PCA peeling. Great!!! Alex has the gift to make you feel ‘the only one”. He dedicated his time listening to yours needs, and responding to it with his strong knowledge and his biochemist background. He is gentle with the touch, and has won my heart with his professionalism, expertise and knowledge. When I walk in the Spa room, I can truly relaxed because I am in great hands. I’ve tried PCA peel, european facial (sooo relaxing), Micro current Facelift and I became a regular. Nothing is better for a pick it up to schedule with Alex. It will make you feel beautiful inside/​out.

Alex is not only very professional, but he truly does a wonderful job! I have never had a facial like the one that he gave! If you go somewhere else for a facial, you will be wasting your money. You will not only feel more beautiful when you leave there; you will look more beautiful!

Alex is amazing! His compassion, knowledge, expertise and prices will keep me a long time client. The location may be hard to find, it is located in the back of a beauty supply place. It is not your typical «spa» so do not expect to be greeted in a tranquil place with robe and slippers but honestly the reason why I came here was not for relaxation but for results. I struggled with acne in my teen years but as an adult I managed it quite well and hardly had breakouts. When I became pregnant with my 3rd child I immediately started breaking out. I was going to another spa in mission valley every two weeks. It was becoming very expensive and I seen little results. I also tried another spa in Clairemont and also did not see results. I stopped going altogether and was hoping that after the birth of my son, my skin would return to normal. I was wrong! My skin actually got worse especially with breastfeeding. Hormonal acne is really tough to fight against but I can say with confidence that going to Alex has made a tremendous difference! I have seen him twice in about 2.5 weeks and my skin has made a dramatic turn! Of course, I need more work but I am hopeful and excited to get my skin and confidence back. Alex is so awesome that I was late over a half an hour and he was so understandable. Im so glad I found him! If you are having skin issues, see him and you will not regret it. I have added a picture so you can see the 2.5 week difference in my skin.

I purchased an AmazonLocal Deal for a microdermabrasion and was super excited to use it today! When I got there, I informed Alex I was 3 months pregnant and he advised it was better to wait until after the pregnancy to use it because of skin sensitivity etc. Better safe than sorry! He decided that the mini facial was a good choice and he was so right! Alex is so professional, informative and kind! I will definitely be back! :)

Alex is so professional and kind. I’ve been to so many places all over and never gotten service like Alex provided. I went in with the Amazon deal and couldn’t believe how appreciative Alex was. He treated me not only like a regular but a VIP. He used many different (expensive) products just to make sure I got the results I wanted. Already made my next appointment. Can’t wait to go back. One caution, bring cash because Alex’s low prices are because he takes cash only;) when I misunderstood this Alex said «no problem, bring it next time.» If more people ran their business like Alex I think we’d all be very grateful!

Went for my appointment with Apollo Spa and was glad I chose this place. The prices are really a deal and Alex is the best. He made sure I was relaxed that made the appointment go smoothly and I really liked how nice he was. This place is really clean and has a friendly environment/​atmosphere about it.
