History

Established in 1992.

Architectural Concepts started out as a home based business and quickly grew into a 10 person firm with offices in Gaslamp. The firm moved to Point Loma in 2004 and then relocated to Little Italy 2012. For over 20 years Architectural Concepts has provided a comprehensive range of professional services to successfully design and build a project. Services include Master Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, FFE, Purchasing and Installation. Our involvement from inception to occupancy encompasses a complete scope.

Business Owner

As Principal in Charge of Architecture and Interior Design, Ms. Whitlock is responsible for creating the concepts that drive the design. Her professional experience includes all aspects of architecture, design and the building process including project programming and site analysis, design, custom FFE, art programs, purchasing, construction documents and construction administration. For the past nineteen years she has focused on resort/​hospitality design and construction with projects nationally and internationally. Her project list includes hospitality, commercial, restaurants, civic and multi-​family/​senior housing.
