Only debit and cash accepted. On top of that, there is a $.35 fee to use the debit card. Gas pumps extremely slow compared to other stations. At least I could watch the same 3 commercials about 5 times each.

This gas station charged and showed filling me up more than my tank holds by just under a gallon. Also they charge a $ 0.35 fee that makes them not worth going to. And the forced advertisements while filling up suck. I wish I knew where to report this.

Think about how irksome a gas station has to be to warrant someone actually taking the time to write a review. Because that should tell you a lot right there. This is the closest gas station to my work, and I would rather drive FARTHER than go here. It is one of the only gas stations I’ve seen have a direction of traffic. If you enter the wrong way, as you absolutely would if you’ve been going to gas stations without a problem for YEARS, you will have screwed over yourself and everyone else already there. And NOW they’ve added a fee for credit card transactions. If you want to keep your money, your sanity and your zen GOSOMEWHEREELSE. Anywhere else.

All gas is the same, and arco is usually the cheapest place around. Avoid the $.35 fee by paying in cash!

Only came here because I had to switch to reserve this morning. The clerk was cool, but Arcos suck.

I passed thru at night so not a big deal with the traffic. At least .10 cents cheaper than the neighboring stations. Gas is gas, especially running on premium and the amount of commuting I do.

Don’t like to gas here because they still don’t accept credit cards. This spot is also small and very tight. Not much room to get around other cars. Very convenient location just off the 163 freeway, at the corner of Clairemont Mesa Blvd and Kearny Villa Rd. I come here only to buy sunflower seeds. My favorite is spitz — black pepper.

I don’t usually go to ARCO for three reasons: 1) the quality of the gas is poor 2) they charge a $ 0.45 convenience fee for using your ATM card 3) they don’t take credit cards So why did I go this time? The exit for my usual gas station off 163-N, the Chevron off Balboa, was closed due to construction. If you know the area, the next opportunity for gas isn’t until Miramar. Being that I had already been pushing the limits of my tank, I needed to stop. This place is dumpy, even by ARCO standards. There wasn’t even a significant price savings(or so said my GasBuddy app). CalTrans, please don’t ever do that to me again.
