I am a wedding DJ/​videographer and I worked with Patricia at a wedding that took place a few weeks ago at the Thursday Club in Point Loma. Patricia was very easy and pleasant to work with. We exchanged multiple emails and had a meeting before the wedding. This allowed us to be well prepared and stay on top of all the details. The wedding went really well. The bride and groom were very happy and everyone had a great time. Unlike many other wedding coordinators, Patricia doesn’t have any negative attitude towards others and she is a genuinely nice person. I really enjoyed working with her from start to finish and I highly recommend her as a wedding planner and designer.

Patricia is fantastic to work with! I was a VERY overwhelmed bride who did everything on her own because I didn’t have much help. Patricia guided me in the right direction throughout the year and a few months of planning. She offered vendors, met with me numerous times to make sure I was on track, and even followed up with vendors that did not respond.
She also let me vent when there was some drama going on, and then offered her advice on how to handle the situation and the best way to move forward.
On the day of the wedding, she kept everything flowing nicely. Any issues, if there were any issues, were handled without my knowledge. Everything was amazing. The day was perfect. It went too fast, but it was absolutely perfect.

Patricia with Art of Joy Events helped my husband and I organize a wonderful out-​of state wedding. She was amazing in the planning process! She was very professional, responsive, and detail oriented. She is also a very caring person and it made our experience so enjoyable and pleasant. I met Patricia a few months after I was engaged. She was so easy to talk to that we just kind of hit if off immediately.
Upon deciding that I needed a wedding planner, she was the first on my list to meet with. We hit it off once again and after starting off the wedding planning process with a lot of stress, I became excited again to plan with her help.

Art of Joy is a professional, precise and detail oriented event planning duo. They executed our wedding exactly as we had envisioned. Patricia and Deanna are very personable and were extremely attentive to our needs. They do a great job of responding via email, text or phone call. They have an abundance of referrals and vendor resources at their disposal. We trusted their eye for aesthetics and they delivered by optimizing our venue space.
