I’ve been using Aaron and Samantha photography for our annual Christmas card photos for the past 3 years and each year I am very pleased with the results! Turn around time is great and they are very professional. I also especially love how Samantha works with children, my very shy 2 year old opened up to her right away and she was able to capture some great photos of him! I definitely recommend them!

AS photography is amazing. Samantha has been taking our family photos for over a year now. She is patient and sweet. The pictures always come out amazing. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional photos.

Aaron and Samantha photographed our wedding at the San Diego Botanic Garden in August 2015. I knew they were the right photographers for us from the moment I met Samantha and learned that she and Aaron love Yosemite and are fellow UCLA Bruins fans. My husband and I were a little nervous about looking awkward in front of the camera, but Aaron and Samantha put us at ease. They were professional, creative and fun! Samantha was very responsive throughout the wedding planning process and she also referred us to our officiant, who we loved. We are so glad we hired Aaron and Samantha and would absolutely recommend them to others!

Aaron and Samantha shot our July wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum. They were super helpful in setting up our timeline, helping us figure out what pictures to take and we were so grateful that they knew the location so well, really helped keep things moving smoothly and helped take the pressure off of us having to decide all those little details. We had a lot of fun playing around with some action shots on the beach too! They were awesome to work with! Thank you!!!

From the moment we met Samantha, we knew she was perfect for us. She gave us amazing suggestions and is so easy to talk to. And pricing is amazing for the amount of service she provides! From the moment she arrived in our hotel the day of the wedding, it was like I had another friend in the room with us! She is so personable, and funny! All of my friends and family raved about how on it she was! And our wedding photos turned out amazing, I love that she seemed to have captured every single person that attended. I could not have imagined using anyone else for our engagement photos and our wedding! I can not wait to book more shoots with her!

Aaron and Samantha photographed our wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden this past August. They were very professional and great to work with from the beginning to the end — they provided detailed timelines, figured out our complicated family photos, were on time, etc. And, of course, the photos came out great!
Also, having both of them shoot our wedding was great. For example, Samantha was able to take pictures of the cocktail hour while Aaron took me and my husband around Balboa Park to take our «romantic» pictures.
Overall, we definitely recommend checking out AS Photography! They are very fairly priced, too :).

We had Samantha shoot our wedding last night and she was awesome! The pictures we have seen are beautiful and she was so thoughtful in capturing moments we hadnt even thought of. If you have more than 50 people attending, get the 2^nd photographer!

I hired Aaron to shoot our engagement photos and our wedding! He exceeded our expectations! The photos were such great quality and exactly what we asked for. We wanted more photo journal style pictures, that way when we would go through our wedding album we could remember the day and not just how pretty we looked! And man o’ man did Aaron deliver… In fact, I remember half way through our wedding party I was wondering where the heck our sneaky photographer was. And let me tell you, for someone with so much personality he does a great job of blending in to the background. He got so many pictures I didn’t even realize he was there to take. Looking back on it, it I realize that I enjoyed my day more not feeling like I had someone taking my picture the whole time. Aaron is a true artist! He has found his calling and I would recommend any one to hire AS photography if you want GREAT wedding photos!

Aaron and Samantha are some of the best people in the San Diego wedding industry. I’ve hired them several times for events and headshots, and they knock it out of the park every time; plus you will have a fantastic and fun time with them. Being in front of the camera is a little stressful, but they take that all away. Hire them, you will love your photos!

We just received the DVD of our pictures in the mail, and the package itself was as exciting to open as our photos are to look at! It’s very nicely packaged with their branded touch. They go the extra mile with their product and service to make it EXTRA special, when they could have just thrown an old DVD in an envelope, it came in a nice box with a flower and ribbon and our name stamped on it :) The pictures: incredible! Everything we were looking for. They tell a story with their photography, they don’t just take posed pictures. Even the posed pictures look natural. They were totally non-​intrusive and I can’t believe they got the shots they did because I don’t remember them being there most of the time. But when they were «there» they were a pleasure to be around, fun, kept up with our humor, and cracked a couple non-​cheesy jokes. I totally love these two and their photo skills!

Aaron and Samantha are the best! My wedding was on August 4^th and I could not be happier with my experience with them! From the pre-​planning, the day of, all the way through to the pictures I just received. They were wonderful start-​to-​finish and I highly, highly recommend them. They were professional, knowledgeable, and really seemed to be everywhere at the wedding, which I appreciated. There is not a single moment that they did not capture or that I was left wishing they had, they got it all!
Our wedding was on the beach in Coronado and even with the super bright sunlight, everyone looks great in the pictures and no one is washed out. The colors are really bright and clear. Aaron said the family formals after the event would take 20 minutes and he was right, he really kept to his word, which is hard with my family (who likes to wander off). He really takes charge, not rudely, but authoritatively, which is really what you need with family and is a big relief to the Bride.
Aaron and Samantha came to my suite while I was getting ready and were a huge help in getting my family to get moving, get dressed, help me get dressed, etc. I was starting to get nervous and kept checking the time, but Aaron assured me he would get me to the ceremony on time, and he did. It was such a relief to have him there to organize us, which is not his job, but something he easily handled.
And even though the Reception was a blur for me, I know they were a big part in keeping everything moving and on schedule. It was great having both of them, as Samantha was able to go to the Reception early to catch all those photos, while Aaron stayed with us and finished up the beach pictures. They are a great team, pleasant to work with, positive and calm. I never felt awkward around them, it was honestly like having two of my friends taking pictures, but then obviously doing a way better job than any of my friends would have done.
I am really happy with my final pictures, all 785 of them (which is way more than I could have hoped for). They provided a link, but also a DVD, so I can print them on my own, which was really important to me.
Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the high quality work and service you receive. They respond to emails quickly and were always available to answer any question that I had. I cannot thank Aaron and Samantha enough for how great they were!

Aaron and Samantha are an amazing photography team. They are incredibly sweet, crazy talented, and will keep your wedding fun and on-​track.
My fiancé and I were in a happy daze and completely forgot what pictures we had requested for our wedding. Then, there was Aaron with a print out of every photo, somehow corralling my unruly family into group shots. Before we knew it, Samantha was pulling around in her own car taking us off for romantic shots in Old Town. Not to mention how they spirited us away right at sunset for a couple more shots. They never missed a beat and their presence was so lighthearted and warm that it felt like friends were taking our pictures.
My family all commented how kind our photographers were and how fortunate we were to have them there with us. The icing on the cake was when they miraculously gave us a picture, already printed in a frame from our wedding day. I have no idea how they did it but that picture has made me smile every day since.
I really don’t think you can find anyone better and you would be lucky to have them there with you on your special day.

We knew we wanted great pictures. That much was a given. It was very important to make sure that the pictures would be a reflection of the events that happened and who we are. We wanted to spend as much of the night with our friends and family, but also have the posed photos as well. It was important to capture all the special moments without having to worry something would be missed. This is what we wanted from photographers on our wedding. It was immediately apparent that AS Photography was a perfect fit. Aaron and Samantha were great. They understood us and captured everything. Aaron and Samantha made all the difference. The pictures turned out better than we could have ever dreamed and our expectations were exceeded on every item.

Aaron and Samantha are a wonderful husband and wife team that will listen to your vision for your wedding day and capture the most beautiful moments. They photographed our wedding on ⁷⁄₁ and I am so happy I found them. They are fun to work with and know what will work artistically. We met them at the Bridal Bazaar and knew that they would be the best choice. They have reasonable prices and you get more than you pay for with them. They are available by phone and email whenever you need them and totally professional in person as well. They work seamlessly, besides the photos we had taken before the event with our bridal party, I forgot they were there the rest of the day. They are not «in your face» photographers, they were where they needed to be to get the shots and not intrusive. We just looked through our photographs and the proof is there, they were a great choice, they took the most beautiful photos! I forgot about many of the little amazing moments of the day, and they brought it all back for us. Thank you!

AS Photography was great. I loved the photos on their website, and was so surprised to find out that they were actually in my price range because their work is so beautiful! They were fun, nice, friendly and low key. I was looking for a photojournalistic style, but the day of I actually requested a ton of staged photos (who knew!!!). They worked seamlessly with the change, and directed us into some really fun shots.
Aaron even saw an old photo of my parents and my Dad’s siblings from back in the 80s… and decided to recreate the shot! My mom loved it so much that she gave a print of that photo with a print of the original to all the siblings for Christmas.
Overall, I was really pleased with Aaron, Samantha and AS Photography. Everyone loved the photos, and they were a such a pleasure to work with.

Aaron and Samantha are amazing! They photographed both our wedding and took our engagement pictures. They were both very professional and made sure to capture «our style». Their prices were very reasonable and their customer service was the best! We can’t wait to use them again!

Aaron and Samantha at AS Photography shot our wedding on November 27, 2010, and we couldn’t be any happier about the results.
From our initial meeting, they were absolute professionals, constantly communicating and delivering everything they had promised. They were ready with answers to every single one of our questions, even suggesting ways to help our day run smoother than we had planned. As our wedding day approached, they were completely prepared with shooting schedules and detailed listings of our desired shots. All contracts were thorough and easy to understand.
When it came time to actually shoot the wedding, they were absolutely passionate in helping us capture our special day, which is obvious in all of the amazing photos we received from them afterwards. During the ceremony, as well as during the reception that followed, they were completely unintrusive, but still captured every important moment, including many of the impromptu ones.
In addition, AS Photography has a photo booth available for wedding receptions. I can easily say that it was one of the highlights of our evening. Our guests had a great time, and took home great photo strip souvenirs. The booth was manned by an attendant from AS Photography, who was professional and made sure everything went smoothly from the beginning of the night to it’s close.
In regards to their pricing schedules, I can say that the quality of their work is worth a great deal more than what they charged us. Their prices are relatively inexpensive, when compared to the competitive prices of photographers who offer comparative professionalism and quality. Saying that they do «amazing work for the money» doesn’t do them justice. The reality is, they should charge more than they do for the amazing work they deliver.
Planning a wedding can be one of the most stressful things a person can be a part of. A lot of couples worry about every single detail of the wedding, including the professionalism of their vendors. Fortunately, for my new wife and myself, Aaron and Samantha at AS Photography are two people we learned that we could book, and trust to show up and do a great job, without worrying.

Aaron was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From the time we met him and booked his services he was nothing but professional and attentive. He always responded immediately to emails, which is something I came to appreciate when planning a wedding!
On our wedding day we were a pretty low key couple, and although we did have a big wedding, a lot of the photo extras were not important to us. We really appreciated Aaron because he «got» exactly what we wanted and executed it without question. He was there capturing every moment when we wanted, but at the same time was not in our face all day.
Our photos turned out absolutely fabulous. He did an excellent job capturing images of most of our guests at some point or another, as well as the special moments between the two of us and our immediate families. We are so happy with our wedding pictures and could not have asked for more.
The wedding photography business in San Diego seems to be quite a big and competitive market, and an expensive one at that. My hard work in searching paid off when I found Aaron. You really can not beat him for quality and price. You will not be disappointed!

Aaron is such a talented photographer, I’m amazed his prices are incredibly reasonable. Our wedding photos make us relive the day all over again, which is exactly what a good photographer should be able to do. The details and candid moments he captured are amazing!
