I had gone to this station for several years w/​o any problems. When they became a repair shop as well, things changed. There is no incentive to pass you if they can get you to spend $‘s for repair. I failed and they offered to repair it for $ 500 to $ 800.
I took my car immediately to a place in Chula Vista and passed immediately. The CV guy said he was going to report ASAP. Not sure if he did. Will be happy to change my review if ASAP wants to discuss it with me.

They took over an hour to do my smog. And their prices are a bit higher than other places. I wouldn’t recommend people come here.

I drove to A.S.A.P. Smog Test which is a (Star Certified testing location) today to get my 2003 Ford Mustang smogged.
I didn’t call ahead and make an appointment with them. When I arrived to their location one of the gentleman working there directed me to their parking in the rear, behind their building. I parked my car.
I went into their office and was told they would be able to smog my car. They said that it would only be a couple of minutes wait time till they would be able to start the smog test.
They were true to their word and before I knew it, my car was all done and had passed it’s smog inspection.
I would recommend your testing facility to everyone, you guys rock!!! Thank you again for getting my car in so quickly and for being so nice. :)

I called today with a failed smog, knowing I needed a new catalytic converter. Not only were they TOTALLY helpful over the phone, they quoted a much lower price than anywhere else! And then… the best part, they got me in TODAY! And literally 3 hours later, I had my car back, cat installed, and smog passed. I could not be happier with their professionalism, speed and courtesy. Highly recommend them!

Take a sweater and visit the bathroom at home!
Quick and painless. Magazines and reading material galore. Staff was friendly. The waiting area inside held about 3 seats just enough for the girl, boy and myself. The only thing is even on this sunny beautiful day it was like a wind tunnel in there. I understand why the gentleman at the desk wore a beanie!
The bathroom… super disgusting but hey its a freakin smog joint I wasn’t there to rate it so just go at home or be warned ;)
I will go again as we all need smog services and my mechanic recommended them :)
