Atlas Furniture & Mattress

I was in the market for a new bed frame for quite some time and actually purchased one at Mors furniture. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted and it was expensive. Since i wasn’t completely happy with my selection at Mors, I went online and found this place. The prices were better and the product was too. I ended up paying less for my bed frame AND box strings than I would’ve at Mors for just the bed frame. The only complaint I had about this place was the bed I wanted wasn’t on the sales floor because someone had just purchased it so I wasn’t exactly sure what I was buying but I’m glad I took the leap and ordered it away. Assembling it took a little longer than expected and you definitely need 2 or more people to help hold up the boards.

This place is absolutely amazing. The guys were friendly and attentive to all of our needs. My mother and I purchased a sectional and some end tables. The delivery was on time and the quality of service and items purchased was excellent! Thanks David, Henry, and Chris! I will definitely purchase from here again!

Henry is awesome! I found dining chairs that I had to have, for a really reasonable price from an online store To avoid $ 80 in shipping charges I was going to have to drive from San Diego to LA to pick them up. I researched to find out which furniture stores in S D. carried the brand. Called at least 15 stores, no one had in stock, and sales people weren’t very helpful. But, when I called Atlas, Henry said he would match the incredible price I found online, and I wouldn’t have to pay shipping charges to get the chairs to his store either! I was concerned that the color may not be exactly what I was looking for, so he called manufacturer to see if he could get a sample. The manufacturer didn’t have samples, so I went to the store to look at the photos Henry had of the chairs. I decided they looked good so I ordered them. They arrived in 2 weeks, exactly as promised. When I went to pick them up, the guy in their warehouse unpacked them for me, as they wouldn’t fit in ny car when in the box, and put them in my car for me. All the other online stores offered the exact same chairs, same manufacturer for at least $ 100.00 more than I paid at Atlas. Will definitely do business with them again. I will be needing a mattress soon, Atlas is where I will be buying it!

These guys are good. I bought a bed and in transport the mattress got ripped — they turned around and replaced it. Nice to deal with people who are proud of their work & really provide great customer service.

We had been looking for a bed for a long time, and we came across their add. Normally when a store has an add for the price they had listed, there wouldn’t be any inventory. This was not the case here. They even had other options. Once we decided on the mattress we asked about the box spring, my wife wanted a taller bed, so what does Henry do? He goes out of his way to find the right box spring for us. It was a pretty impressive display of customer service. The staff working that day was Ben and Henry. My wife and I can not say enough good things about this store. I highly recommended checking them out! Even if you’re set on one thing they will make sure it’s what you want, and in case you decide to change your mind they will be happy to work with you and get you what you really want. Thanks again!

Dishonest. Uncoordinated. They ruined my vision of ma/​pa stores. They take advantage and don’t give a shit about returning customers. I am a marine corps Vet and I made these MF’s give me an extension. Completely disappointed!
Situation: I shopped across the street and wrote the name down of the couch I loved where atlas furniture said they will get it for less. So I was like cool.
The bad: order couch. Nothing similar. Really like color did not want. Super tiny damn couch with a small chase where my long legs don’t sit on. Wrong thread cushions when second extension piece delivered took 2 months to get an extra piece. Couch is ridiculously firm.
After I purchase the couch two days later he calls and tells me the couch will be same size but slightly dissimilar. I tried to talk but I was going to the ‘field’ for training exercises and couldn’t talk so I expected these idiots to take care of me but screwed me. They DO NOT care about customers. They try to suck every penny. Place is overpriced.
Pro: delivery people were respectful and helpful. Small extension –where they tried to charge me full price.
Again I was completely disappointed. Ido not recommend this place. I especially will not recommend this place to ANY AMERICAN VETERAN or active duty personnel. do not remember the guys name but Hispanic young man.

Amazing service and great selection! We bought two twin beds (and mattresses), a king bed (and mattress) and a couch. We are very happy with our purchases! Chris, the owner, was patient and thorough. His delivery crew was on time and very professional. I highly recommend Atlas!

Bought lovely and comfy couch for a good price. Ben was friendly and helpful. Delivery as promised. Did not like the hassle of getting a refund back, after changing our minds the following day, before the couch was even delivered, on the protection plan. Aside from that, our shopping experience was good and they had a good selection.

I just bought a beautiful queen bed frame from Ben. He sold it to me at a great price & was a super friendly & great person to interact with. I was (and still am) a little worried about how long it’s gonna last because I bought a floor model but the awesome person that Ben is, he assured me that if anything happens to it down the line, I could contact them. No high pressure sales here, quality products, friendly environment & overall great experience!

Dresser drawers breaking have always been my bad luck. Four years ago I purchased 2 dressers from Altlas. These 2 dressers are still holding strong. The drawers have not given me one single problem. Due to my satisfaction with the dressers I also purchased a sectional, ottoman, and a king size matress. Needless to say the couch is labeled as the comfy couch by my family. It is comfotable to sit and nap in. The ottoman still looks new. The matress was a great purchase that was recommended by Chris. No need to flip the matress. I am very pleased with the quality of their furniture. Their prices were by far affordable. Both times that the items were delivered the gentlemen were helpful.

Although I was unable to visit Atlas Furniture in person, I experienced great customer service via phone and e-​mail. I was guided through manufacturers websites and received help on how to choose the best bedroom sets for my mother & brother, and a dresser for my daughter. The salesman asked questions on what kind of bedroom sets I was looking for and asked me to e-​mail him pictures of my daughters bed so he can help me find a dresser to match her antique style. He also asked me for my budget and I was even able to purchase an adorable chair for my bedroom! He helped me find the perfect bedroom sets! They were delivered on the date/​time scheduled and he even checked in with me a few days later on how I liked them and if I was happy with my purchase.
I’ve recommended Atlas Furniture to other family members and they’ve all experience excellent service! I plan on ordering more furniture from them when in the near future!

I recently purchased my mattress from this place. I was greeted by friendly and informative staff. They were very patient with me and helped me find the right mattress. It was delivered as was promised and even the delivery guy was friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

I’ve now purchased 2 couches from Atlas Furniture. Before I purchased from Atlas, I looked at Ashley Furniture, Jerome’s, and a few other furniture stores in San Diego; they didn’t even come close to the quality and level of service that I experienced at Atlas. Even though I am very picky and indecisive, Ben was extremely patient with me. He helped me choose the best couches based on my specifications. Ben even helped me choose the couch colors. Both of the couches that I purchased are very comfortable, as well as stylish; it’s hard to find both in one couch. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Erin here, I was in recently looking for a couch and requested a customized version of one of the couches they had in stock. Great customer service but still awaiting on my quote while I sit on my floor. Still lots to be thankful for though while I nibble some turkey.
I hope there’s somewhere to sit on Christmas. Santa will be upset.

Purchased a piece of furniture which was to be delivered in a week or two. Come to find out it’d be 2 months before we got it. We were lied to in order for them to make a sale. In the mean time we called and got the run around, which upset us more. Ben, the salesman, had no problem using profanity and extreme vulgar language towards us, as well as insulting us, like our purchase was meager and barely worth their time. After this occurance we went in for a refund. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

These guys are amazing, I would highly recommend atlas furniture to anyone, Henry and Chris are amazing! Great service at a great value!!! I was able to furnish my entire three bedroom home for under $ 2500!!! Go check them out! You will not be disappointed!

I wasn’t delivered a new sectional as previously told by an Atlas salesman. Instead, the arm was repaired by two nice men who were efficient and did a flawless job. Thus, I’m adding another star. I’m happy with the sectional, but irritated it took almost six weeks to repair (delivered on May 9^th and repaired on June 19^th) when initially told I would receive a new one from their warehouse. Keep in mind all sales are final. As I stated earlier, their customer service is not great, and you will have to initiate contact to receive any updates.

I would not suggest this furniture store to ANYONE.
It’s small, most things must be ordered through a catalog.
The sales person here was very pushy and nearly rude.
We walked in to look and the sales person said «you didnt come just to look, you must be looking for something or are you looking with NO intent to buy», very sarcastic, very pushy sales MO.

After looking into furniture for over a week all along Morena Blvd. and Miramar Rd, I decided to choose a couch from Metro Décor. On my way there, I noticed Atlas Furniture and decided to go in for a quick look with my friend. They actually have a decent selection for decent prices. (You can get just as good of prices over at Jeromes FYI.) But similar to what GT is saying, it’s the customer service thereso is what’s so bipolar.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Sales in person, they know how to kiss butt. Don’t take their word for anything unless your flexible on timing. They usually can cut you a deal and on certain items can bargain it down.
Delivery Follow Up: AWFUL and the main reason for my 1 star review. I had stated from the beginning that I was moving in 3 weeks. They guaranteed that it would be there from 1 to 2 weeks tops. I made sure to follow up at the 1 week mark and then again at the 2 week mark. The first time I called I was suppose to receive a follow up call the next day because they were going to call the manufacturing company. NO CALL. The 2^nd week I called for delivery and it still hadn’t come. I was moving in literally 5 days. I called the Monday before the move, which at this point was over the two weeks they promised. They said that my sofa and chaise was part of the Tuesday or Wednesday delivery and that they would deliver based on THEIR schedule and «when they could». Seriously? So rude.
So here’s the kicker. My sofa came in on Tuesday and said they could deliver that night between 4 and 7. Unfortunately I had an unretractable and chargeable appointment and couldnt cancel last minute, so asked if they could deliver at any other time. They said, «Yea, Friday or Saturday.» HELLO jerks, movers come on Friday. After a stressful conversation, they were able to deliver right then and there (2pm). All I had tod o was me to leave spur of the moment from work, drop everythng I was doing, and drive from La Jolla to North Park in 15 minutes. STRESSFUL.
Good quality and decent pricing, go check Jeromes out. same thing. But paid for delivery when I could have CHECKED IN and gotten free delivery. ROOKIE MISTAKE!
