Attic II

Just got down here to the Attic to see the doors all locked up, store empty, & a «For Lease» sign in the window! Been coming here for a while. what a letdown.

Good place to get your latest kicks instead of regular stores. Great place. Cool staff

Went here today and was overcharged on my purchase. There was a sign outside that listed an «Air max day» promotion which was buy one, get one 50% off. When we entered I asked the young man that assisted us to clarify the promotion, he stated that it was all Nike air products. I made a selection as did my girlfriend and we continued shopping. Upon getting to the register I was surprised with a total much higher than expected. I asked and they began to back peddle stating that the items I had selected were not on the promotion, contrary to what the young man had told me. I was faced with a decision to put all of my items back or just suck it up and pay the retail price. I wanted the items so I chose to take them but I probably could have gotten much better pricing somewhere else. I have been shopping at the attic for years, both in Buena Park and in San Diego and this will probably be my last trip. I asked up front for clarity and feel like I was taken advantage of. In hindsight, I wish I would have just left the items and not purchased from there.

BEST SHOE/​CLOTHING SPOT IN SD HANDS DOWN! The employees are very professional. Stores always clean and stuff neatly arranged for easy access. Thanks for the service guys !!

Casual shop offering current urban fashions plus a selection of name-​brand sneakers. Great Clothing for all seasons including tank tops and shorts at great prices. Plus luggage bags big and small for every occasion whether your heading to class or going on vacation. Great prices, Great People and always have sales happening, CHECK OUT THE ATTIC!!!

Been to the Attic a couple times and think its a great trend store. They have great sales on select brands as well as a huge selection of brands and shoes. The items that aren’t on sale sure are expensive though.

Nice variety of sneakers of all sorts, although on the expensive side. If you are into hip-​hop culture, you will find hundreds of shirts nicely organized and displayed. I won’t come back, though, or even recommend this place as I felt every step I made o was being followed by a shop assistant. Customer service inexistent, not a hi nor a bye, bit leaving you with the uncomfortable feeling you are being watched, like if your are going to escape with only one shoe. I was going to check what do they have upstairs but did not feel at ease and I left instead. It is a nice location and they cater a niche market, but customer service is primordial.

Everyone at the attic is super friendly & cool especially the manager Eric he’s always so helpful and he always shows me the near gear. When I enter the store I always get a warm welcome & they always have the nicest sneakers & clothes in San Diego. If you’ like to be unique shop here.

Short & simple, Been with Attic since the jump. Always updated with the best street wear & fashion. This Attic is something to frown about though. Even with a wide selection of kicks and snapbacks, their hospitality is pretty low. No customer service exists in the shop whatsoever. Deaaad. Wasn’t expecting greatness anyways with its location right in ScumVille. Personally, BP’s Attic (Original Attic) is the best Attic to go to (less kicks, more support, more attire), other than Alhambra’s. 2 stars for the denim, kicks, & lids. Other then that, ehhh.

This streetwear store is great. They have a huge selection of graphic tees which is what I am always looking for. The staff is super nice and helpful. Plus, they open on time at 11. Most of the other streetwear shops don’t open until… well…whenever they feel like it. I highly recommend that you check this place out.

The service is chill. The shoes variety is nice (jordans, supra, hundreds, nike, chucks, vans, etc) and size variety. The clothes is nice (diamond, stussy, crooks, etc) and there’s even a girls section upstairs. Beanies, snaps, goodwood and accessories too. Prices are reasonable for the brands CHECK IT OUT

On vacation and Unilocaled attic because my boyfriend was sick of shopping at all of mystores… Good selection of brands (The hundreds, obey, diamond, Nike, etc). Also has a wall of sneakers and running shoes.
If you have been to the locations in buena park or Alhambra. This one is in the middle size wise. If you walk up the stairs in the back they have a small girls section and other racks of guys clothing.
If your in San Diego, and your boyfriend is looking for a store he can go shopping at… Stop at Attic! They have a great selection of things he can look through!
Because there aren’t that many street wear/​skate wear for them to shop at around san diego

I love what they sell.
I love the area it’s in.
I hate their customer service. Actually, I can’t comment on their customer service… because it doesn’t even exist. Real talk.

One of the FEW places in SD that you’ll find a great selection of urban-​style clothing with big name brands including Obey, Crooks & Castles, Diamond, Nike, Jordan, etc. Lots of variety but sizes can sell out quick for popular items. Get your new Jordans here before they sell out.

This store is super ‘meh’. I really think customer service should be number one in shops like these. It never fails that every time I walk in there, there is a guy sitting with the computer mouse in his hand staring at the screen, or is talking to other kids. Even when I want to look at stuff behind the glass I feel really awkward because it’s as if I’m interrupting their conversation. The only reason why I’m giving them two stars is because I like their Hellz Bellz collection (I’m not really sure if they still carry it anymore). Other than that, I would never shop here and it’s not like their selection was so super amazing that I had to frequent it anyway.
Start communicating more, guys. It’s key.

I love shoes.
Seems like everyone, boys or girls, has their «thing» when it comes to clothing. Belts, jackets, purses, pants, hats… whatever.
I like shoes, not that I have any sense of «style».
I have three pairs of black cons but I do like to have some other choices
and that is where the Attic fills the needs.
They carry sick as shit shoes; from the hundreds, cons, nike, creative rec., FMS… The list goes on. Truly, a nice spot for the casual kicks.
The clothing lines are sweet also. Crooks and Castle, Bloodbath, Rogue, Living experiment and a bunch of other smaller indie companies.
They do have some chick stuff but it really is more of a guys store and the staff reflects that. They are totally laid back and non intrusive.
I like that. If I need help, I will ask. Thanks for not buggin.

I got a pair of Nudie jeans for 70% off and then after scoring your disc’s. You can use the money for a couple drinks at the star bar around the corner and stumble next door to Master Tattoo and get some ink.

It just seems like everytime I come in here there’s always some Dom Kennedy or Wale joint playing.
Despite the bad reviews based on customer service I’ve never had an issue with the staff. They’ve been helpful and informed me about the military discount when it came to purchasing some kicks.

Don’t tell me that I am the first person to give this place a 1 star rating?
Why? The staff blows! With one exception; Eric is friendly!
Yeah they get exclusives, but they give them away to their friends and family. They treat you like bull crap! They know that they are one of two shoe spots in SD that get exclusive shoes, so they pay no attention to customer service; except Eric!
I even called their main store, in Orange County, and spoke to a guy named Justin that said he was the manager, but he never responded to my requests; as he said he would.
Great shoes; horrible customer service!

I am not your die hard hiphop head, sneaker head, what have you.
Nikes are not my daily footwear, let alone sneakers.
I listen to Blackalicious, Emanon, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, etc.
I am not a B-​Girl.
But I do enjoy a shirt that isn’t from forever 21 and shoes that actually have laces once in awhile.
Upon entering Attic (no it was not my first time there) three workers were situated in the front of the store chatting amongst each other.
A ‘hello’ would have been nice or some sort of acknowledgment. Well that didn’t happen.
As I made my way to the back to the store where there was a mass selection of Creative Recreation shoes. One of the workers approached my friend and asked him if he wanted to join the emailing list, for a special sale they were having over the weekend and they would send out an email to people with a ‘password’ to enter the store.

Considering my friend and I were the only ones in the store.
We were still looking around but we were making our way to the front of the store and I guess they thought we were leaving and said ‘bye.’ Okay sure yea, acknowledge us when we’re leaving.
Besides having not so great customer service, the selection of shoes and shirts were pretty nice.
I’ll go else where or buy online.

This place is pretty awesome, However, mostly for boys. They have a wide selection of screen print tee’s and shoes. But girls on the other hand, the selection is slim and the often not that good.
I do like me some dunks though, and probably need a new pair or two.
The guys who work here, are also nice, and really funny.
