The new Aztec Lanes includes a full-​scale 12-​lane bowling and games center that will be a sleek, upscale bowling experience with eight flat-​screen televisions, billiards tables, table tennis and other games. Every element ofAztec Lanes will be designed with the college student in-​mind with drop-​in bowling, private parties and ENS (for-​credit) bowling classes.

History

Established in 2014.

Aztec Lanes replaces the former Aztec Center Bowling and Games. The bowling and games center on the first floor of the Union will offer 12 lanes of bowling thanks to Brunswick, a world leader in building and modernizing bowling centers. Aztec Lanes will also offer large-​screen TVs that can display Aztec sporting events while guests enjoy a game or two.

Amazing staff! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Christina was extremely helpful especially with so many people in line. Also it’s $ 5 an hour foe billiards which is incredibly cheap!

Let me complain just a tiny little first, then get into the good stuff. First time coming here we found a Groupon and paid something like $ 20 for a bunch of time and a couple lanes, it was great. This time we just walked in and at the end of the night it was pretty expensive for the time we were here. That’s where my complaining end, the rest is really great.
Aztec lanes is super clean, well maintained and a fun atmosphere. I like to take my kids here as I continue to encourage them to go to SDSU! You can get pizza next door and bring it in, the staff is laid back and helpful. We bowled like crap and still had a great time, the atmosphere makes the bowling seem less serious and its easy to enjoy the time with your friends. It’s strange the bowling seems secondary to everything else.
I would highly recommend coming here, especially if like me, you have friends and family visiting from the midwest, they will feel right at home in this bowling alley but with a west coast vibe.
Do yourself a favor, check Groupon first to see if they are available.

Great place to go when you’re on campus and you want to bond with friends. Its right next to Oggies and you can bring in a pizza and chill.
Beyond bowling, there is pool table and a ping pong table.
People that works there are great.

We got introduced to Aztec lanes when one of my son’s friends had a birthday party there. This place is very new, state of the art, clean, and nonsmoking facility. We have been there 4 times in the past 2 months.
They participate in KidsBolwFree in summer and occasionally do Groupons, that makes the visit even more enjoyable.
There is a pizza place next door open on weekdays, and Dominos within walking distance.
Parking is offered $ 1 an hour at PS6, or you can park by the book store or Dominos if you plan on getting pizza later.

My kids and I tried out Aztec Lanes today. It was a hit! It was small but clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. We parked outside of the permit area and strolled onto campus, but I’m pretty sure PS6 offers parking at $ 1 an hour.

Exceptionally well maintained. Super fun and vibes were positive! The lanes are definitely taken care of here and the staff are very helpful. Prices are good too. Took a little while to figure out parking and where to go but it was well worth it. Only down side is they don’t allow alcohol in there!!! :/​I understand it’s on campus but cmon alcohol is served next door. Would come a lot more if we could drink and bowl.

Great spot for bowling, but be sure to make a reservation! Only downside would be there’s no convenient parking being the lanes are on campus, but not terrible. We’d love to come back and bowl more! Also, great options with pool tables and ping pong for those waiting for lanes.

Bought a groupon to go bowling here. The bowling alley is in the middle of campus so it was a little hard to find at first with the construction going on. But we finally found it and we had a blast. There are only about 10 – 12 lanes to bowl and there were some pool tables there too. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. If we ever want to go bowling we will come here again.

We went to Aztect Lanes last night and it was amazing. The groupon deal was a steal. It was a little tough to find as its inside the SDSU campus and we were not familiar with it. We ended parking near KPBS and walking about 5 mins to Aztec Lanes. It’s in the building with Starbucks and lots of other eateries.
The place was clean and new, they had really good seating and music and it was fun to go back to college for a few hours :) Highly recommend

I went out bowling with my seven-​year-​old son and this place was recommended by a friend. I would say these are the best lanes in San Diego! Everything is so clean and well lit. It’s perfect for bringing your kids, nothing seedy going on here! Comfy places to lounge and everything worked perfectly!
My only suggestion is to really look carefully at how to get there. I wandered around campus for probably 15 minutes and then finally called them and they walked me on over. Google maps has a really hard time finding this place!

The new bowling center at the Aztec student Union is wonderful!!! The lanes and gaming equipment are brand new and The best part is bowling for free! but only if you have an arc membership. They always display all the current sporting games and events on the screens and play music that appeals to all ages, whether it’s hip hop, edm, rock, pop, etc. Come visit Aztec lanes soon!
