Balestreri Building Group

I began a project in June with Joe Balestreri. By the end of July Joe had taken other jobs and put mine on hold. I was patient, but also anxious to have my job finished. Now we have reached January and the job is STILL NOT FINISHED! Needless to say Joe has put my job on the back burner and I am stuck with an unfinished job. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! JOE IS NOT EASY TO WORK WITH AND THE JOB ENDS UP BEING UNFINISHED.

My business partner and I had met with many contractors to help get us going with our new business. Joe was the first to do what he said he would and in the time frame that was agreed upon. He made our gym have the finished look we need to set ourselves apart and represent who we are.
Joe would go above and beyond what was needed: be it cleaning things that he was even directly responsible for, or working late hours to keep on schedule. Men with integrity are hard to find at times, and in business this becomes even more appreciated so we’re glad we found him.

We found Balestreri Building Group through a refferal to repair our kitchen after we found mold. Joseph and team did an amazing job and now our kitchen is back better than before. He and his crew worked in a very professional manner and completed the project in a timely fashion. I would strongly recommend this company over any of the big companies in San Diego. Having had a number of projects I needed done I found it hard to find a trust worthy general contractor to handle them. If you ever had work done to your house, at least here in California, you know what I’m talking about. It is difficult to find an honest, timely, hardworking general contractor who does quality work. After a few dudes I found Joe of Balestreri Building Group who has all of those qualities and fair pricing as a bonus.
It was no accident I found Joe. I got so fed up looking for a good contractor that I finally decided to just pay top dollar and call one of the large construction contractors in my area to do some structural work on my house. The contractor told me he really doesn’t do «smaller» jobs like mine as he is a home builder and he recommended that I call Joe Balestreri.
I can’t be happier with the work Joe Balestreri did for me. He helped me with the design and visualization, provided a drawing of his proposal and sent me daily status reports which kept me up-​to-​date on the projects. He also made suggestions on how I could save money on the project even when it would have meant he made less money. I’m no stranger to construction; my grandfather, father and I were all SEABEEs (Naval Construction Battalion) service men so I know good work and knowledgeable people when I see them and Balestreri Building Group is all of those and more.
