My BBQ Burger was good. That would get 5stars but my sweet potato fries were cold and service is EXTREMELY slow and no personality. Coo place tho

This place is somewhere we go to on at least a quarterly basis and have yet to be disappointed except for high volume level of the stereo at times. The service is regularly good as is the food. I must admit, I’ve always had the teriyaki plate(awesome!) or a burger and fries. Last night we mixed it up and had the garlic cheese balls with bacon, coconut shrimp, Greek salad and kale salad. All of these were excellent! We walked in a little concerned because it was NBA playoffs night and the place was packed. The hostess first said it would be 5 minutes then grabbed a towel and a couple menus, asked us if we needed to see the game monitors(we said; no) and took us right back. The waitress was right on top of us. Very polite and returned in a few minutes to take our order. I really wanted to try the Brussels sprouts too but it would just be to much food. We thought it might be awhile, but the food came out within 7 – 10 minutes!

Outstanding burgers, decent variety of tap beer, great location. Fries are delicious. Terrific lunch specials. The service was fair at best during a slow lunchtime otherwise I would have given it 5 stars!

Breakfast burrito is the best I’ve had to date. It tastes fresh and is filled with good stuff. I love that they put cilantro in it. $ 12? Seemed a bit steep for the burrito, but once I bit into it, it didn’t matter.

Waited 30 minutes once we got seated, and never got served. It was completely unprofessional how slow the servers were at talking to the customers. We left before a server even talked to us. The entire bar had only two people who acted as bartenders, servers and bussers. There was one hostess and one food runner. The server girls didn’t even acknowledge us, even though both of them walked by us at least a dozen times each during the half hour we waited to give them our order. It was the hostess who finally noticed the servers never helped us. We will NOT be bringing out business back to this establishment. We will not be bringing out business back. The only positive to this bar is the hostess being on her A-game.

I dont live in this area, but was visiting for the triathlon we did in SD. our friend recommended this place, and I just came in without a lot of expectation, but this place is super chill, and exactly the kind of place you would want to hangout on a sunday afternoon! Think of every single dive bar you ever went to that you love, and then think of all the cool burgers you have eaten in your life time, and think of all the nice breweries you been to and combine them all, and add super casual, chill laid back staff — you get Bayside Landing. The place wasnt super crowded which I absolutely like, but it wasnt in a bad way because the food was soooo good! my burger and tater tots were just spot on and exactly what i needed after a rough race day! I even saw a couple who brought their two little babies in strollers, enjoying their day drinking beer. If I was a parent, I would want me a break on sunday afternoon. THe prices were very reaosnable, nothing made me call my banker and check my credit score and the portions are very hearty! If you are in the area, stop by!!! recommend!

Really cool place in San Diego. We were heading out to drive back up north and stopped here for lunch before we hit the road. Alllllll of the food was amazing. I had the Italian pizza and it was SO good. The pesto really set it off. My friends all had burgers which were great as well(I had a bite). The atmosphere is really cool and laid back. Great beer and wine selection and there is a back yard style area in the back and an area in the front of the restaurant for people to being their dogs. I would definitely come back here. We are exhausted from our triathlon this morning but still enjoyed it so much. The service was great. Friendly staff and fast service. Come check it out. Our server Christina was super helpful and great to talk to.

Can here on a Tuesday afternoon to a basically empty restaurant. My opinion of Pb cuisine is very low. Improperly executed bar food at outrageous prices. But it seems things are turning around slowly. Bayside landing is defiantly not like any other place in Pb. The menu is very much seaside sunny day fair and executed perfectly. I’ve never had coconut shrimp that had that much coconut flavor anywhere. Although I drank ice coffee the beer selection looked awesome. I’ll defiantly be back the blackened mahi sandwich was exactly what I wanted. Thanks for not trying to hard and making tasty food.

Great venue with a spacious, all-wooden, high-ceiling, open-air main room with rotating craft beer draft list on the wall. Great selection including a fresh keg of Fall Brewing’s pilsner, which we all enjoyed. Service was friendly and attentive. Back room has giant jenga and giant«Connect Four» as well as picnic table seating and fire pit. Dog-friendly, astroturfed outside seating as well. We tried just about everything on the food menu for our event. The sweet potato waffle fries served with maple syrup were a big hit. Teriyaki wings were delicious. Bacon wrapped dates were a hit, though I wasn’t a big fan. Tempura green beans were spot-on. For the pizzas, these are like flatbreads served on pita bread, so they are a little but flimsy to handle. The flavors were great on the Italian version and the pulled pork and pineapple. Thai chicken looked interesting as well, but I didn’t get a chance to try it. Overall, great place for just a beer but also excellent for snacks for full lunch or dinner. Incredible location too. Parking is street only, so can be a bit difficult.

I live in the Crown Point area and love the general atmosphere of Bayside. It’s nice to be able to walk over, grab a good beer and hang out. However, the service here has consistently been so bad it’s genuinely never worth it. I always find myself having to talk myself into going. This last time it took a solid 15 minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge our presence and then another 20 just to take our drink order. I get it if you’re the only server on staff but still lady, enough with the excuses. We were there for an hour and a half and the entire time only had the opportunity to order one beer! It’s every time we come here! Advice to management: it’s busy enough… hire more staff!

After my previous unfulfilling experience, the manager reached out to me and kindly sent me a $ 15.00 gift card to give Bayside another shot. I finally made my way back there and went with a friend on a Sunday night, so not too much happening. You seat yourselves and wait for a server to come and take your orders. Total 180 from my initial experience. The wait time to actually have a server take our orders wasn’t ideal given that there were maybe 15 people in there tops, but everything else was a great improvement. I got the beet salad with chicken and a side of sweet potato fries, which went a bit over my gift card but was pretty delicious. Gluten-free options were also a plus. The waitress also forgot something else I requested, but she was friendly and personable nonetheless. Long story short, food is excellent! Still not 100% on the service part. I’ll check it out again in the near future when craving something delicious :)

I originally intended to go to Rocky’s, but it was packed on a freaking Sunday night. So I went next door to Bayside Landing. They have a lot of local beers on tap, and that night they even had a pineapple cider. I drank until it was time for half price burgers, which is when I ordered a Kahuna burger. Quite nice burger. If the burger wasn’t juicy, I wasn’t able to tell. The pineapple ring, cheese, and chipotle aioli all provided a lot of moisture to any single bite. The chipotle aioli had a very small hint of heat.

I like Bayside Landing for their chill atmosphere, happy hour specials, and tons of tvs for sports games. I recommend going to Bayside Landing during happy hour, which I believe is weekdays 3 pm — 6 pm. I went this past Friday during happy hour and was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t packed(like other bars on Garnet Ave.). We had quick, friendly service and the atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. My friend and I each ordered the Baja Mules(La Quinta Agave Tequila, Ginger Beer, Mint, Guava Juice, and Fresh Lime) for $ 5. Normally cocktails are $ 8, but cocktails for happy hour are only $ 5. Then we ordered the glorious Garlic Cheese Bread Balls for only $ 5, normally $ 9. These were amazing! Just look at the picture I posted to see for yourself. The cheese bread balls are warm, gooey with cheese, seasoned perfectly, and taste delicious with the side of marinara and ranch. Easily one of the best appetizers! I’ll definitely keep coming back for happy hour, and I want to try their $.99 mimosas on the weekends!

Tried this place for the first time for dinner with some friends last week. A great place to hang out with a group of family or friends. Really cool atmosphere with several flat screen t.v.‘s and open air seating. In the far back of the restaurant past the pool table they have extra open air seating and a giant jenga set, which is more challenging than it sounds. The service was very fast and the food was overall pretty good. I tried the Mac n cheese pizza just for kicks. The pizza could’ve used a bit more flavor but the atmosphere made up for it.

Poor customer service. We had to flag the bartender down multiple times. The bar had 20 people at most in the whole place. Service was terrible. She seemed more interested in whom ever was texting her and not the customers. I wanted to love this place, as its close to home, but not sure when I’ll be back.

Came for happy hour. Sign says«$ 2 off drafts.» menu says«$ 2 off drafts». my draft was $ 1 off. according to the bartender, it’s because my beer is served in a different glass than the others. False advertising.

Mind you this is based on drinks and ambiance. On the way back to her place I asked if she wanted to grab another drink. She agreed and we came the open concept is super cool and the feel is welcoming. They have Tvs and a great selection of drinks. I decided on a beam shot and bud light back. She went for wine again. Had good conversation and great service. Will come back again. Rip Big Kahunas. That place was cool.

This was an excellent choice for my friends and i after some volleyball on a sunday. Main reason? CHAMPAGNE! I didn’t notice if they only do this on Sundays but it was a $ 12 bottle, the only catch is, every single juice you get is $ 2.50 each… however: GUAVA! Made it so worth it. I had the pulled pork sandwich that turned out to be seriously gigantic and amazing with the pineapple, and added sweet potato waffle fries — i loved the minor difference of that since other places only do fries. They’ve also gotten wind of the maple syrup served with them being phenomenal and I loved it. They were crispy and not greasy. The extra star would easily be earned with better service. For not being very crowded, I saw the girl like twice the whole time in an hour and a half… but fortunately I was with great company.

There’s a lot of things I love about Bayside Landing! First of all, the atmosphere is perfect. Bayside has an open wall giving it a very natural vibe. One of the walls is covered in grass and it’s a very comfortable and trendy restaurant to gather with friends. On game nights, however, it can be really loud! A few friends and I came for dinner during Monday Night Football and surprisingly it wasn’t the fans that were loud. Whenever there was a commercial, for some reason the music would BLAST! It was impossible to hear anyone around you. I think what might happen is that they need to turn up the volume for the actual game, but then they leave it at that volume during commercials. It was actually pretty bothersome. The food itself is really good! I absolutely LOVED the teriyaki chicken plate. Get it with dark meat. Don’t kid yourself. Dark meat always tastes better. The chicken was so juicy and tender. I was so impressed. Our table ordered wings but I wasn’t a huge fan of them. Those were a little more dry, so I’d stick with the teriyaki chicken plate. I’ve also eaten the pizza there before and it’s really good! They’ve got one with mac and cheese on it that I’m eyeing for my next visit. Bayside is a great place to dine with friends. It’s got a great atmosphere and some quality food. Head over during happy hour for even better prices!

4 stars for never being so overcrowded that you can’t hear yourself talk. The Mac and cheese, teriyaki plate and pork sandwich are worth it, not the best brunch food.

This is a typical case of a place that is not«mind blowing» but it’s not bad either. I’ve been here a couple of time on different times of the day and tried a few of their food items. They have a nice beer selection and the menu is small. Their Mac and cheese pizza lacks salt and it’s not as exciting as it sounds. Their brunch options are pretty good, meat lovers omelet is the bomb. My favorite is the breakfast sandwich. So full of flavor and huge portion! It’s my favorite item. Their mimosas are small and at $ 6, I think they’re just trying to get people to get the bottle for $ 12. Sucks for people that, like me, go out to eat alone often. Not all the time I have the endurance to kill a whole bottle my myself, yo! The service is friendly and attentive. Today I was driving around looking for a place showing a soccer game and when I called asking about it she said«I’ll put that up for you». I got there and while all TVs were showing American football, the girl told me to pick a tv and she put soccer just for me. That was really nice of her and I appreciate that a lot. Environment is nice, bathrooms are cool. Lack of parking is the main issue IMO but oh well. I’ll keep coming back since it’s so close to my place.

Loved the décor inside. Had an amazing burger! Went back on the weekend for brunch and had the loco moco. It was a pretty good meal but would suggest the rice being more of a fried rice to add more flavor and feel a bit more Hawaiian. Overall though great service and place to eat.

Great addition to Crown Point. Unpretentious, affordable and easy going. I’ve only been a handful of times since it changed from Big Kahunas, but I’m living on this side of town now and I fully back it. Ample seating, great craft beer selection and last time our server(Malina? I may be butchering her name) was completely on point. Stray from the dark side of PB and come to a spot where the people are rad and the food is… what’s positive and rhymes with rad? Never mind, just go!

Bayside landing is a great bar. It has great eats from pizza too burgers. I like there sweet potato fries there. If u want beer on tap they have a lot from ballast point, green flash, stone brewery, it is great to see a lot of local beer. If you are ever in Ingraham street, check this place out and if you happen to go to the restroom it is decorated from save by the bell… Really funny

Good spot for Brunch with Friends. You seat yourself here at any of their tables, at the bar, hang out by the pool table or chill outside where they have Giant Jenga! I love that they have island inspired items on the brunch menu! I had to go with their Moco Loco. It came with a delicious garlic fried rice, a huge beef patty, gravy and 2 fried eggs on top. The portion was huge enough to share, but my fiancé opted for their ‘bacado’ burger, which was definitely not a small burger. It came with bacon and avocado– hence bacado. I also had their peach and ginger bellini. It was refreshing and the perfect brunch beverage! The woman’s bathroom had all of the Baysiders plastered all over the walls. Yes, I’m talking about the cast of Saved By The Bell! So fitting with the restaurant name!

Amazingly well done food! We ordered the BBQ bacon burger & the CA grilled chicken sandwich & both were better than perfect. The burger was obviously fresh ground sirloin; not frozen. The chicken breast was so tender & juicy; cooked just enough, and the pesto sauce wasn’t overpowering but a perfect accent. The service was prompt & our food came out fast! The club music was a bit loud but when we asked the waitress to turn it down a bit she did it … Immediately. Wow. There’s outdoor seating in front & it’s a pet friendly area with soft turf grass. Out back there are board games & a massive Jenga set. Wednesday is trivia night with cash prizes.

Craft beer selection is solid. I was STOKED to see the Thorn St Nelson on tap. After drinking a couple nelsons I ordered the breakfast sandwich. It was tasty and I especially liked the addition of spinach and onions on the sandwich. Definitely took it steps above pub grub. That was cool. The bar is comfortable. We came for one beer and decided to stay when the bartender put the U.S. Open on the television right in front of us. Will be back for the good food, beers, and service.

Visited on a Sunday. The place is set up very cool — we sat on a bench and the way it’s set up half of your party can be outside and the other inside which is fun. They allow dogs outside for dog owners. Service was prompt and our waitress came by to take our drink orders. They seemed pretty busy but remained attentive. On a Sunday afternoon they serve a full bfast and lunch menu which is great. I ordered the chicken sandwich which was very good. The bread was nice and soft, it came with a nice pesto, roasted red peppers, tomato, avocado, lettuce and cheese. I had half a sandwich which was plenty of food. My bf had the meat Omelette with house potatoes — he taught it was eh My friend had a nice salad with berries, beets, almonds and it came topped with two pieces of bruschetta which looked amazing. They have a herbivore section which is great for any vegetarians in your group. Overall good food and great service.

Just got back from a Friday happy hour with friends at Bayside Landing. First, all the reviews that say anything about PB must be lost or tourists. This is Crown Point — a different beast. For as long as I can remember there isn’t much variety in Crown Point, so I was happy to see a new watering hole in the former(rather depressing) Big Kahuna’s space. Plenty of seating when we were greeted at the door and table by the staff. We ordered some garlic balls and fried pickles — both made for tasty pairings with the frothy beverages, the former especially. Supurb on tap selection — from local craft brew to mainstream stuff. I had an Idiot IPA(Coronodo Brewing Co) and Blazing World Amber(Modern Times Beer). The food, brews, service, and value were all great. It makes me miss living in Crown Point. Bayside Landing is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Locals: go support this place!
