Beach Bums Cloth Diaper Service

Very disappointing experience. My husband and I called 3 – 4 times with no call back, finally got through and were told we would be put on the gift registry the next day (never put on the registry) and never received a follow up or call back after messages regarding the lack of registry. Their website was also down for a few days and emails were bounced back. We just couldn’t go with a service that did not care about their customers enough to follow through or return phone calls:(We wanted to like them and gave them multiple chances, but needed to go with a different service. They were very nice when I spoke with them on the phone and seem to be a very nice family, but we just needed consistency in a monthly service.

We loved that Beach Bums provides organic cloth diapers and that it’s a delivery service. Since we don’t have a washer or dryer at our place, cloth diapers seemed like they’d be nearly impossible for us without a delivery service. Beach Bums offer a great solution. However, we were incredibly disappointed. Service was horrible, and the owners weren’t the friendliest, though they seemed to be at first.
My first experience with Beach Bums was at a few of the baby fairs leading up to the birth of our daughter. After researching other options, Beach Bums seemed like the way to go. Big mistake. Delivery was inconsistent — she switched days a lot or missed deliveries. That was my biggest issue with them. There are a ton of inconsistencies with invoicing, delivery and communicating. It got old. We couldn’t keep up with such wishy-​washy service.
My last complaint is petty, but I believe that a person reflects his/​her business at all times. My family and I were at a baby fair at Liberty Station, and Beach Bums was there. Hullabaloo was playing, and of course, offering the free stickers at the end of the show. They asked all the little kids to line up, so my 2 year old and her friends got in line for stickers. The Beach Bums owner didn’t bother to get in line with her daughter (much older than 2), and literally guided her daughter to cut in front of my baby and her toddler friends. I’m not kidding — she guided her with her hand and led her in front of toddlers who were standing in an orderly LINE. Really? She’s that desperate to get her daughter a sticker that she couldn’t wait in line and had to cut in front of TODDLERS? Or she’s better than everyone else? It’s such a petty thing, but I thought that was incredibly indicative of who she is as a business owner and person. So much for the hippy-​façade…

Wonderful cloth diaper service. You get organic cloth diaper delivered weekly to your door and get the dirties taken away to be laundered and sun dried. It’s convenient and easy to use cloth with this service.
