Beauti On The Go

I had my makeup preview with Brandi last week and had an absolutely wonderful experience! Brandi was friendly and warm and made both my mom and I feel welcome in her downtown studio. I loved how she started the preview with a conversation, asking me questions about my wedding and makeup/​skin needs. After that, she continued to check in with me throughout the preview to make sure her choices aligned with what I am looking for. I also loved how she could point out what changes she would make to ensure the makeup was perfect for photos and the warmer July climate. All in all, great experience and I can’t wait to work with Brandi on my big day!

Brandi and her team are amazing! They truly take their time to get to know each bride. Friendly and patient to ensure the provide the best service. I even booked them twice for another event after my trial session.

Brandi does GREAT work! She did my makeup for an event and it was exactly what I wanted. She is very warm and welcoming, has a beautiful studio and her makeup work is very well done! I was so happy afterwards and I will be back. Very much recommend!

What can I say about Brandi? She is simply amazing!!! I first met her when she did both my hair and makeup for a boudoir photo shoot… AMAZING STUFF! There she totally gained my trust! Then she did my makeup and hair for a bridal photoshoot the day before my actual wedding (had a completely different look) and that was FLAWLESS! She helped me channel my inner Carrie Bradshaw. And finally she hooked it up in the most amazing way possible on my wedding day. She did my makeup along with all of my bridesmaids. Everyone looked and felt absolutely beautiful! She is a master of every complexion. And most importantly I was perfection. My (now husband) said that it was the most beautiful I have ever been. AND it lasted through all the tears and sweat from partying!!! I am now a life long client!

With the recommendation of my wedding coordinator, I decided to use Beauti on the Go for my wedding hair and makeup. Both Victoria and Brandi were a pleasure to work with! Victoria is a master of hair and made me feel at ease at both my preview and when I decided to change my original plans on the day of my wedding. She can whip up any requested hairstyle in a matter or minutes! During my preview, Brandi read my makeup personality and by the time my big day came around she had fine tuned my look to make me feel both comfortable and beautiful. I loved my natural, polished look. She even gave me tips on my everyday makeup. Booking the right hair and makeup artist was probably the hardest task for me so far in my wedding planning, mostly because the options are endless. However, when I found beauti on the go I was so relieved. Brandi quickly responded, answered all my questions and provided me with a detailed price list (which I found that many artist do not have a set price list). The pictures of their work is what gained my interest but Brandi is what sold me. Last week I had my preview and was greeted by Brandi, I instantly went from a little nervous to relaxed. Brandi made me feel comfortable right away. Nancy did my hair based on a Pinterest picture and pretty much replicated every detail while adding a little of her own style to it. Brandi did my makeup and I absolutely loved it! Especially the eyes, which if you ask me a girls eyes and smile is her sexiest quality. After the preview I would highly recommend beauti on the go to anyone including my best friends. Cannot wait to work with them again on my wedding day!

Amazingly talented and professional! Super friendly and can’t work miracles! I’ve had the pleasure of having Brandi do my makeup several times for performances I’ve been apart of. She did our whole casts makeup. She did a phenomenal job! There’s no way I could have even mimicked it since I am pretty decent at doing my own makeup being in the performing industry. I found Beauti on the Go on Unilocal back in March. I booked BOTG for my wedding for myself and my bridesmaids and I couldn’t be happier. I showed up for my trial and was greeted by Brandi (she is super sweet, too) and was introduced to Victoria, who did my bridal preview. I ABSOLUTELY loved my hair, it was perfect! I showed pictures to Victoria and let her know that I did not want quinceanera hair since my hair was so thick and curly. She listened to what I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier with my hair. My wedding is this Saturday and I know I’m in good hands with Victoria and Brandi’s team. They are very professional and you won’t be disappointed if you book their team! I’ll update my review after my wedding but I’m positive the rating will stay the same (but I’ll post pictures!)

I used Beauti on the Go for my recent wedding. By the time I arrived for makeup I was running behind and slightly frazzled… Brandi put me right at ease. I was absolutely in awe when Brandi revealed my «look» to me. It was exactly what I wanted, and then some. I felt so glamorous, so beautiful, so perfect… exactly like any Bride wants to feel on her special day.
I have also been blessed to have my makeup done by Brandi in the past. She never ceases to amaze me. This review is for Victoria — I was referred to BotG by my wedding coordinator as I was having a destination wedding in San Diego and had NO idea of hair stylists in the area. Since my hair is really thick and can be a little difficult to manage, I was pretty nervous about finding a good hair stylist.
Once I started to click around on BotG’s FB and Instagram pages, I found that every time I liked a hair style — it was credited to Victoria, so I requested her. The booking process was really easy, and they were very accommodating to the fact that I was out of town and would need to do my hair trial just 2 days before the wedding (no pressure). Victoria was AWESOME. My most skeptical friends and family were so impressed — she was blazing fast, finished ahead of schedule, and did an incredible job on all of us. She worked with long, wavy, curly hair, boy-​cuts, thin hair, short hair… pretty much every hair type imaginable and everyone looked gorgeous. My hair stayed in place all day & night, through heat-​wave temps and lots of dancing, and I got so many compliments. To top it all off, she’s super prompt and so incredibly sweet — a fun presence to have around on such a busy day.
If I lived in SD, I’d certainly call on Victoria for all my formal hair styling needs — but since I don’t I’m hoping the least I can do is refer her other brides to her cause she is a great personality with a great amount of talent. You really can’t go wrong with her!

I was a last minute client with Beauti On The Go and could not be more thankful for them. After having a disaster of a hair trial three weeks before my wedding, I was starting to panic about my wedding hair. Brandi was so awesome and was able to book my wedding day. It was one of the best decisions of my wedding and I wish I would have known about Beauti On The Go earlier in my planning process. Victoria was my stylist and was the best to work with. Not only is she talented with updo’s and styling in general, but she was so nice and fun with work with. I highly recommend Beauti On The Go!

I have had the pleasure of being dolled up by the Beauti On the Go team a few times. Most recently was this past December for my pregnancy photo shoot. Brandi did my hair and make-​up. She has an amazing gift for building upon one’s natural beauty. My make-​up was impeccable, the airbrush works wonders, I wish I had access to one daily! My hair was beautiful and stayed the whole day, even after a trip to the beach for some sunset shots.
I highly recommend Brandi and the Beauti On the Go team! Such a fantastic group of ladies!

They did the hair and makeup for my friend’s wedding last year. They were extremely friendly and professional. The wedding was up in Murrietta and they drove up there for three of us. Our hair and makeup looked awesome and Brandi even airbrushed a bruise on my leg.
My only complaint was that they make you go in for a preview. This makes sense for the makeup but is pointless for hair. My hair behaves differently on any given day based on the humidity. This complaint is not big enough to take away a star though.

As a professional studio photographer, hair and makeup is essential to what I do. I have worked now on a few occasions with Brandi of Beauti On the Go, and she does a wonderful job on hair, make-​up, and even airbrushing. She is very capable and can do it all! She is very professional, a pleasure to work with, and her prices are reasonable and competitive for the work she offers. I would highly recommend her!

Angela did mine, my bridesmaids, and the moms’ makeup for my wedding on Sept. 24, 2011. She did a fantastic job! The airbrush makeup is a must for brides. It stayed on, and looked good, from 11am-​12am. I have been told by friends that their biggest regret of their wedding was that their makeup looked terrible by the end of the night. With the airbrush makeup you will look great even after dancing while wearing a giant dress all night.
Angela and her assistant also easily handled 8 women ranging in ages from mid 20s to my grandmother in her late 70s. Prior to the wedding she came to my home and did a trial on the day of my bachelorette party, which was so great! I got to try out the airbrushing and I looked great when we went out. I would highly recommend Angela and Beauti On the Go!

There is something terrifying and amazing with getting your make-​up done for your wedding day. I’ll admit I was very nervous to try the air brush make-​up. I’ve always seen the celebrities look absolutely beautiful and I always wondered how could I feel beautiful like that? I met Brandi and her team at the Bridal Bazaar. They were so down to earth and related to me on my needs and wants that despite my first impression that all these girls were super pretty and would make me feel uncomfortable, they made me feel important. They didn’t force a sale on me and really seemed to want to help people with their make-​up which most vendors seem to just want to make the money. The difference in their customer service also showed with the $ 10 demonstrations they offered so the customers could try before spending the big money on what they wanted to eventually achieve. I was too shy to try the demo and booked a session alone.
Brandi did my bridal preview and took the time to really get to know me. We talked about what I liked to do, what made me feel pretty and how I envisioned myself to look. She looked at my normal make-​up wear, we discussed my wedding dress, my skin routines, everything. She showed me examples that fit my personality and explained her inspirational vision for my look. Every step of the way she made sure I felt comfortable and if at any time I didn’t like something, she had no problem letting me take over or starting from scratch. When I looked in the mirror I wanted to cry, not because I was sad but because I was overwhelmed by happiness. I have never felt so beautiful in my life. My skin looked so clear and felt flawless. It didn’t feel heavy. The makeup didn’t feel caked on. It felt weightless and natural which I never thought make-​up could feel like. Every girl wants to be a princess and in my case the ultimate Disney princess. Brandi won me over and I can’t wait for my princess make-​up on my wedding day!

I met Brandi’s team, Beauti on the Go, at the Bridal Bazaar in the SD Convention Center this past January. I purchased the airbrush make-​up sample and was amazed by the results with so little product. The girls at the Bazaar were all very personable and easy to talk to. I met their main point of contact, Jessica, and was glad to have a face to a name.
I booked my make-​up and hair previews quickly thereafter. The girls were very accommodating and came to my house to do the previews! Angela did my make-​up and Victoria did my hair. Both girls listened to what my visions were and even played up the ideas I had. Having beauty professionals who actually listen to you is extremely important!
Angela came with her own make-​up chair including all of her equipment. Despite my dogs being up in our business, Angela did a great job on the make-​up. She made great suggestions on colors for the make-​up given the time, theme, and colors of my wedding. I loved learning about her path to make-​up artistry and had a great time just chatting with her. I booked her right away! My make-​up looked flawless and lasted the entire day!
Victoria was AMAZING! She has an incredibly bubbly personality and is very easy to talk with as well. I showed her some ideas on Pinterest and she gave me a few options. Wow — she works fast and she works amazingly well! I almost cried after seeing my final look (hair & make-​up together). Victoria’s work was more than I ever even wished for… and she did it so quickly — goes to show how experienced she is when it comes to up-​dos and hair!
I definitely recommend Beauti On The Go. All the girls are very professional and pretty responsive. You will be floored (as I was) with the quality of their services. I’m looking forward to having them do me up on my wedding day!

I had a trial for my wedding makeup with Ang last night. She was awesome. I was a little nervous, but she was very down to earth and seemed to really listen to what I had to say. I brought several pictures of ideas I had. She followed them to a T. I was so impressed… after all, how many times have you shown a hair stylist or makeup artist a picture and come out looking nothing like it?! The airbrush makeup was so nice… I didn’t feel like I had anything on my face! My eyes turned out AMAZING! They popped like they never have before! I can’t wait to have my makeup done by her again on my wedding.
It was difficult to find their location, so make sure you get more detailed directions than what your GPS can provide.
