Bedrosians Tile and Stone

I purchased glass tile from Bedrosians. Within a year of installation, the tile’s backing disintegrated making it look unsightly since the tile is transparent. They say that since the tile was used in an outside application, the product is not under warranty. But I was told when I purchased it that it was fine for outside applications. They totally refuse the stand behind their product and now won’t even take our phone call to discuss the matter. I don’t know how they can stay in business with customer service like that.

I looked for MONTHS for backsplash and counter granite for my kitchen remodel. Wish I had gone here first. GREAT customer service, GREAT selection, and GREAT prices. They also recommended the installer who did a great job.

We had a house fire and had to redo the whole inside of the house, Michelle helped me choose tile for 2 of the bathrooms, travertine for the other 2 (powder room and Master bathroom), travertine for the kitchen, and assisted me in matching and coordinating everything to my granite counters. She also helped by sketching the bathroom designs so my tile installer could see exactly where to place the details on the walls.
This large project could have been very difficult for a first timer like me, but everyone at the Miramar store was friendly and professional, and helped me at a very stressful time.
Thank you for all your advice and help and I will be happy to recommend you to all my friends.

I do agree with some of the other reviews stating how unfriendly the service can be when you walk into the showroom but our sales associate, Jennifer, was amazing. We ordered some marble tile that was back ordered and every time I or my wife called, Jennifer always took the time to check on our order, help us with our questions and always assisted us with a happy demeanor. It was a pleasure working with her and we will happily order material through Bedrosians again. Thanks Jennifer!

We were assisted by Monica in the Bedrosian showroom. She was very helpful in taking the time to understand what we were looking for and pulling tile samples from the warehouse for us to take home. She did not have one of the samples and was happy to order one for us as well. We experienced excellent customer service here. Thanks Monica!

All I can say is Michelle here is amazing ! We have been remodeling homes for over 10 years and she has tile and taste to get you to your final goal.
We had to take this house to another level since it’s in La Jolla, so Bedrosian just has the selection we needed for 3 bathrooms, weathered tile floors, and clean modern accents.
Make an appointment, arrive early to look through the selection, and have your measurements. She is busier than the President of the US, but she knows her stuff.

Horrible company! Wish I would have seen some of these other Unilocal review earlier. We loved a sample bathroom in their showroom and decided to purchase the same materials for our master bath. Ordered over $ 20,000 in products between bathroom and new flooring for the house. The bathroom was supposed to be the Calcutta Oro Marble, the most expensive in their entire shop. The accent pieces were right but when the shipment came for the large pieces of stone (that we waited for over 4 weeks for), it was wrong. It wasn’t even close to the samples in the showrooms, didn’t match the accent pieces. It was labeled correctly so the installers started installing a few boxes and then we realized it was totally wrong. They did nothing to help us. Tried to tell us they gave us the right product. It was drastically wrong and looked exactly like the cheaper marble they sell. They also kept telling us they gave us this phenomenal price on the product. I was able to call Arizona Tile and get the exact same stone, but the right color and high end material promised for a cheaper price right off, not even using a contractor discount. Bedrosians was horrible to work with. We have lost thousands of dollars using them because they sent us bad product that is nothing like they were selling in their showroom. I would never use them again and warn anyone who uses them. At every turn they got orders wrong. Beware.

We spent $ 20,000.00 on tile, stone and granite for our bathroom re-​model. The service we got from the Lead Showroom Designer was excellent. We had made inquires regarding the under floor heating product Bedrosians promote (LATICRETE) and the Branch Manager (Mike Miscoione) came over to help us. He insisted on how Laticrete would work with him to quote our project. I sent him all the information he reuested by email. After 2 weeks of no responce i emailed him again, and again no responce. I emailed him 6 or 7 times more, again no responce. I began calling him, but was always told he was busy. I left numerous messages, no responce. Finally i got a responce from a lady who told me by phone «he would call me». Two weeks later still no responce.
Obviously i will have to go eleswhere for my underfloor heat, as it seems that the Branch Manager is not good to his word.

They are okay. Expect almost zero customer service. You need to find someone for help but once you do they are friendly. Prices are decent but a little on the high end. You can take samples home but you have to pay for them. They will let you return the items but I feel this is a major pain. I have yet to find a great tile store with good prices and customer service.

In 2012 I purchased from them travertine total price $ 12K. They gave me 2 week delivery time and it took 4 weeks but that was not a problem.
I got a call from them, stating that my material is ready to be picked up and my contractor recommended to open crates in Bedrosians to make sure everything is OK. When we did, I could not recognize the travertine tiles, they were grade b or c, lots of holes, different texture and different color. Next 60 min they tried to convince me that it is the same product… lol… We even started asking other customers to confirm, nobody could guess… They put on sample board premium grade and deliver low grade product. I canceled the order and purchased marble from another location the same day. I can’t believe they can do business this way…

We walked in several times because we were working with click on floors and they get their tile from here. The first few times we walked in, we weren’t really greeted or helped, but we looked around at their displays and got some ideas for what they had. If you want to have some assistance, you need to go and find someone yourself. They seem very busy at the front of the store/​office space and sometimes they only have 1 – 2 people there.
The last two times that we have gone, the customer service was better, they had more people working. Vanessa was working on the floor and was able to show us some times and give some recommendations. She’s very nice and attentive to what we were looking for and gave us some good advice and things to consider. When we came back the next weekend, she remembered us and helped us again when she was finished working with another customer.
You can borrow a sample of tile for a small fee and they’ll return the amount to you when you bring it back. This helps if you want to bring the sample back to your home to see how it looks or to compare and match with other things like the kitchen cabinets as we did.
They have a granite showroom in the warehouse where you can view the slabs. Vanessa was helpful in looking up the dimensions and prices of the granite slabs that we were interested in.
Large selection to look at, customer service may be a little hit or miss depending on how many employees are working when you visit, but look for Vanessa– she was friendly and helpful.

I’ve bought tile from this store a few times over many years and they’ve been good to me. I’ve bought gorgeous tile here and, most recently, really beautiful «seconds» tile that was so inexpensive I was really thrilled.
I’m a bit surprised at all the negative reviews here — I simply haven’t had a bad experience at all. In fact I found this review looking for the delivery guy they use — he was great too. My last purchase I hauled my own tile which took many trips. The guys in the warehouse were super helpful in getting me loaded up which was sort of a pain for them, I think, because they had to bring out the pallet over and over again since I could only take a few boxes at a time. So, special thanks to the warehouse guys!

Omg, the worst experience I ever had buying something. I felt like I was intruding. Product knowledge was worse than mine, I would have an easier time shopping for tile at Home Depot…
Please don’t shop here. Stay away!!!

Terrible service. I was helped by Luis (Sales Rep — I’m assuming) and the guy took FOREVER to figure out whether or not they even had the granite… He walked out with my contractor and I as we showed him the piece we wanted. After spending 10 minutes in his system he comes to tell us that the piece was already sold to another customer (granite had no tag that it was sold but was stil on the floor), then goes out to the back room to see if they had any other pieces of granite that size (without asking us what we were looking for) and comes back to tell us they had two pieces… another 10 minutes go by, and the guy still didn’t even answer our first question about the tile until I asked him how much they were selling per sq. foot.
All in all, terrible experience. Luis gave me a bad impression of what Bedrosian offers and I don’t plan to be back.

This store has great variety. I am a contractor and love it here. I see the other reviews and would definitely agree its a store where you will not be pampered (like Lowes or Home Depot). However, when you get their attention, they are super friendly and hard working.
I have no complaints and highly recommend for granite & tile.

Overpriced and horrible customer service! Do not purchase anything from this company. My husband and I are remodeling our bathroom and were told about this place from our contractor. We visited their showroom a few times and each time we had to find someone to help us and answer questions. No one even acknowledged us when we walked in. Once we found a tile we liked we were told it’s a custom order and were given a delivery time of 2 – 3 weeks. When our contractor went to order it, he was given a delivery time of 4 – 8 weeks. When I called our contact there (Michelle) she informed me that she should have checked with her tile rep on the exact delivery time and she hadn’t. Even though I could tell she felt bad we were still SOL on the tile we wanted. We ended up finding the exact same tile at Lowe’s for $ 40/​box (we purchased 11 boxes) CHEAPER and with a 2 week delivery time. So not only do they gouge you on the price you get crapped on while you shop and given wrong information.

Great selection of tile and granite slabs. No pre-​fabs. They run from moderate to high end. No cheap stuff, so not a great place if you want to do your job for the cheapest possible price. If you want quality stuff, this is a great place and the price is better than most for the high-​end stuff. We got top grade travertine for less than medium grade at other places. Staff was very nice and fairly helpful, but not enough staff so if you have questions you end up waiting a while to get someone’s attention.
