History
Established in 2002.
After months of research Mr. Langdon made the decision to open up a coffee cart together with Stephanie Garden. Recognizing the room for progress in the specialty coffee industry, Tim Langdon and Stephanie Garden took it upon themselves to improve the coffee business by great strides. They were a newly engaged couple with the whole world in front of them as they set out to create a fresh new coffee business. They saw what once was a unique and charming industry dominated by a handful of corporate coffee giants that had lost sight of their principals, and in doing so, had lost sight of their customers and their best interests. There was a great deal lacking in many facets of the business, from the service, to the product and this young couple recognized that and proceeded to change the coffee industry one location at a time. They got professionally trained, developed their systems, secured a location and opened up their first business October, 2002. Better Buzz Coffee was born.
Meet the Business Owner
Tim L.
Business Owner
Like Many of us that have been faced with life changing experiences, Better Buzz Coffee was a result of something great coming from a catastrophic life changing disappointment. In June of 2002 Tim Langdon (owner) was competing as a professional athlete on a national circuit and sustained a compound fracture of the tibia and fibula on his right leg. He was informed by doctors that he would not be able to compete at a professional level ever again and he would be lucky to walk straight ever again. Faced with the largest challenge of his life, Mr. Langdon put together a game plan to endure physical therapy and to walk and be active within a 6 month time period. Without a source of income and all of his dreams demolished, Mr. Langdon began researching, analyzing and evaluating business opportunities. He was looking for a business that could be started for a relatively low investment with a high (ROI) Return on Investment and something that could be duplicated into multiple units for success
