We use a mix of natural and artificial light to paint with light at shallow depth of fields and constantly strive to make any visual project a thing of beatuty. Business Owner

Michael Wesley is a San Diego-​based lifestyle photographer. He strives to deliver a creatively rich shooting approach that transcends style and color into vibrant and alluring images.

After receiving a Bachelor in Geography from UC Santa Barbara, this California-​native felt a need to see the world. Embarking on a five month, twenty– six country global adventure, Michael «Blue» Wesley became compelled by the process of capturing light, color, and exotic natural scenes.

As the adventure came to an end, Michael’s appetite for visually documenting and sharing photographs really took hold. He founded Blue Wesley Photography in 2006, and has never looked back. Developing a rich and creative portfolio in commercial advertising, lifestyle portraiture, wedding & event photography, editorial photojournalism, and captivating ocean scenes, he has become one of San Diego’s premier freelance shooters.
