Simply put… BNI San Diego has brought me to a whole new level and understanding of how to network with people and how to give back to those around me. With the «Givers Gain» motto, BNI has taught me to put others first, find out how I can help others and give of myself. This in turn, provides a reciprocity so powerful, that my business finds itself thriving and on an upward trend with no end in sight. I am a fairly new member to BNI San Diego. I joined BNI as a new business owner 7 months ago. Since joining, my networking skills both inside and outside of the meetings have improved. Through the BNI system, I have gained a clear understanding of how to be an effective networker. My business has grown very quickly since joining BNI and I look forward to continuing in my BNI chapter as my business continues to grow. The other business professionals in my chapter have become additional «sales people» for my private nutrition practice. I really enjoy the weekly meetings and feel as though my business improves after each meeting.

I have been in my BNI chapter for almost 3 years. I started out because my old employer demanded we go — but I quickly fell in love with the concept. Since then, I have started my own business and actually had to fight to stay in my group! It has provided a platform to start my own business. The tools provided are second to none and its just such a great atmosphere. Everybody wants to know about the financial gain, which has been great, but it has really helped me grow and develop in business and life. It is a huge reason why I have been successful and I would recommend joining us for a meeting soon!

I have built my web design business on the referrals that I get at weekly BNI networking meetings. Our chapter is a group of about 35 professionals. We have breakfast together every Thursday and work to refer quality business to each other. BNI also has networking training and classes that really help a small business owner develop a marketing mindset that brings referrals in the door. A proactive person always has something positive they can do within the BNI structure to improve sales. No excuses.
