Specialties

It’s time for a great massage! Sessions are therapeutic and relaxing, with just the right amount of pressure (think «delicious discomfort»). Using slow movement and gentle stretches helps achieve lasting results. I can go very deep but work with the muscles to melt resistance, not force change. My clients love the blend of proven modalities I combine, including Deep Tissue Sculpting, Deep Circulatory, Neuromuscular Therapy, Sensory Repatterning, & Thai massage. I work with all ages, disabilities, and pregnancy. I can also show you take-home techniques (stretching & self-massage) for even greater relief.

Pricing is unique: you pay what you can generously afford and what you value the service, with a minimum of $ 60/hr at my office in Pacific Beach or your home (15-mi radius 92 115).

A nationally certified massage therapist with 1045+ hours in training at IPSB, you’re in good hands! Massage volunteering includes homeless in PB, leprosy patients in India, and women in emotional recovery.

History

Established in 2010.

With a longtime interest in massage therapy, it wasn’t until 2007 when I was teaching peacemaking and creative discipline workshops for teachers and parents in Uganda that it hit me, «If more people could receive regular massage, reduce stress and thus feel better in their bodies and improve their health, they would be less likely to beat their kids.»

Upon returning to the U.S., I quickly enrolled at International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego, where I learned more than just how to give an awesome massage. I also gained awareness of how the emotions are deeply connected to our physical being, and bodywork is a powerful way to not only relieve stress but to heal from trauma, abuse, and improve our relationships with ourselves and others.

In 2010 I completed the Holistic Health Practitioner Program at IPSB and opened Bodywork for Peace.
