History

Established in 2008.

Bop Design was established in 2008 by Jeremy Durant and Kara Jensen. Prior to forming Bop Design, Jeremy was the Director of Business Development at Millennium Creative Group and Kara was the lead designer at LPL Financial. Jeremy and Kara recognized a critical need among B2B firms for a holistic marketing agency focused on business development.

At Bop Design, Jeremy Durant builds relationships with businesses in need of a marketing and branding strategy, helping them to develop their unique value proposition and ideal customer profile. Prior to joining Bop Design, Jeremy spent 10+ years developing tailored solutions for Fortune 500 companies in the wireless, biotech, electronics, and food and beverage industries. Jeremy spent two years at Millennium Creative Group, assisting companies with their broadcast and new media strategies. He also spent seven years working with UC San Diego to develop internal workforce development programs for organizations.

Jeremy received his BA from Merrimack College and his MBA from California State University, San Marcos.

BOP worked with us to re-​brand our company and to design a new website and we were very happy with the results.
BOP was recommended to us, but we were also impressed with and felt comfortable with them when we held initial meetings with design firms to select a partner. Our instincts were right as they were really easy to work with. At all times, we felt we were an integrated team rather than having a client/​vendor relationship. The BOP team was always responsive to our needs and I never had to wait long for a response to a question or request. The BOP team also did a great job of listening to what we wanted and providing deliverables that matched our requests. When we were not quite sure what we wanted, they provided a variety of designs for us to choose from which helped us understand what it was we were looking for.

We contracted Bop Design to build a 3rd generation website for our college. Originally the project was supposed to take much longer but as we were undergoing accreditation process, the timeline needed to be shortened considerably. Bop completed the project in 1⁄3 the timeline with the quality, accuracy, scope, and customer service we had hoped for. They continue to provide excellent customer service as we ask for minor changes to the site. Whenever we have a question, it is answered promptly and an update to the website manually is provided.
