Brian Bobbitt Golf Lessons

My wife and I have been taking lessons for quite some time with Brian. He is an excellent instructor and has taken my swing form «ugly’ to excellent. Once he gets you to a point where your swing is consistent, he starts working on the little adjustments to improve your game.

I have never given a five star review to anyone because is anything really perfect?
Not unlike some golfers I was fed up with my inconsistent play. Some days I would shoot 90 and other days 105 and I was frustrated with mediocrity, my mediocrity. My playing partners had lots of advice for me which although it was well intended… I didn’t ask them for advice now did I? Instead of continuing with below average golf I decided to take proper lessons.
Brian is good. His ability to spot the faults in your swing is brilliant. His use of video analysis is revealing. When I first saw my bad swing I didn’t recognize myself. No way, that’s not me. Did I mention that Brian is actually fun to be around?
Six private lessons and two clinics later I now have hope!

I took my grandson to a clinic with Brian and thought he was so magical with kids that i figured he might be an instructor who would be patient enough to get me beyond my reluctant beginner stage of golf. This man has all the technique and talent that qualifies him as an expert instructor, but, more importantly, he has an approach that makes a beginner like me believe she can actually play this game at a socially acceptable level! After the first lesson, I had his video feedback on my phone by the time I had put my clubs in the car! I now look forward to every lesson because I know he is monitoring me on my own improvement scale and he celebrates each personal breakthrough with me. I highly recommend Brian Bobbitt as a teacher who can reach each individual and discover that «teachable moment» within all of us.

Bobbit is the best out there! Pros on the nose as I’ve always said! He’s given me and my guys lessons in some exotic locales, too. No one even comes close to his fiscal knowledge and expertise. Once, when I was having trouble with my back swing — he helped me turn it around! We’re talking a complete 180 degrees!!! If that’s not sport science, I don’t know what is. Thanks Bobbit, and good on ya!

I have been taking personal lessons with Brian for over 2 years now. I fully expect to be taking them for at least another two as well.
The important stuff — he has greatly improved my golf game. I was a hack when I started (120+, 110 on a good day). Now I consistently shoot around 100 and crack through more times than not. We have worked on every part of my game and I have been more than happy with each lesson. Its important to note I went to two other instructors before Brian in which I had lost all hope for someone that could break down the game into something I could understand (I am not trying to join the tour).
The details — Brian always goes above and beyond. Many times we are working on something important and he is willing to spend a few extra minutes with me after our scheduled lesson time to make sure I get it. He also went out with me and one of my friends (also a student) for a playing lesson that was more than reasonably priced.
He is very friendly and funny so I actually enjoy being there while working on my game. Lastly, he will claim not to be a computer guy but he has become an expert in the video program he uses to compare your swing with pros to show you immediately what you need to improve. This means you spending more time working on your swing than with someone messing around with a video analysis that makes no sense.

Brian is a great teacher, he has a great attitude and great communication skills that really transferred into great results for me. The amount that he has helped my golf game is tremendous. Well worth my drive from San Marcos every week!

As we all know, golf is the most frustrating game on earth. Once you think you have it nailed, you get slapped across the face with the shanks. Brian Bobbitt saved my golf game. I was playing pretty well until all of a sudden I could not make solid contact. Within a few minutes of our lesson, Brian figured out the problem and showed me on video just where the issues were. It was that fast, and that easy. Brian is a great, personable guy, with a cool British accent and happens to know a lot about the game of golf. I would highly recommend Brian to golfers of all levels.

Brian is a great teacher, just recently I started with him and he has totally changed my whole swing process. What I love is that he will make you feel good about your game. And work with you. He uses Video to analyze your swing and then makes the adjustments best suite for you. I recommend you to see him to improve you game.

Brian has worked with my myself and both of my sons for several years now. He’s truly great at communicating and at teaching the game of golf. Beyond pure technical instruction, Brian teaches the enjoyment and sportsmanship of the game as well, providing a great foundation for a sport which can be enjoyed for a lifetime.
Brian is patient, humorous, and has a keen eye for detail, choosing to focus on meaningful improvements which help all aspects of my game, rather than throwing 50 things at you at once. He uses the V1 Golf System for detailed swing analysis – a key teaching tool that allows me to visualize the good and bad in my swing and compare myself to both professional golfers, and to my historical swing archive, which he keeps for each student.
I have worked with other instructors in the past and can say without question that he is the best I have ever worked with. If you’re looking for an instructor who can work with you, regardless of skill level and golf history, Brian is who I would recommend without question.

I felt at ease and comfortable with Brian at the very first lesson. I am a retired senior who had always wanted to play golf, but waited until I was 70 to do it. I have been taking lessons with him for over two years. I enjoy his never ending bag of teaching techniques! He uses the latest video and software technology so I can see what is happening as I swing the club. I particularly like that he emails me a video clip from each lesson which helps me visualize what we are working on. He is patient, kind and lots of fun! He is great with kids too, and equally at home working with pro golfers who come to him to sharpen their skills. Thanks to Brian I now enjoy playing in a ladies group and with family and friends. I am confident and at ease on the golf course.

I was looking for an activity that I can do with my 8 year old son, and decided to give a try to Golf. We got very lucky and we found Brian. He was so great with my son. He knew how to talk and motivate someone his age. He was very patient, accommodating and very generous with his time. We have been taking weekly classes from him (my son and I together) and it is one of the best things we do together. Brian is a great instructor, knows his stuff very well and such a pleasant person to be around.
Our lessons are fun, bonding time for me and son. On top of all we are learning the game. Now my son a year older and he loves golf. He is practicing for his first tournament, and cannot stop talking about it. Brian even took time and found a great golf club set for him and help us get it custom done for him for his first tournament prep. All at no cost, just for making his game better… There are many more great thing I can say about Brian, but I will leave it here to not make this review sound unreal.

Brian is a great golf instructor. He has the tools and interpersonal skills to get your swing going. You will definitely see improvement in your golf game.

Brian has certainly helped my golf, but is also just fun to hang with. He also teaches my 12 year old daughter, and is particularly good with kids.

Brian is a great teacher. His use of video really helps to be able to see where your problem areas are, and then focus on correcting them. You’ll see positive results immediately. He’s very approachable, nice, friendly, knowledgeable. I’ve been going with a Meetup group and it’s been a blast. If you’re looking for a good teacher, you can’t go wrong with Brian!

I have been enjoying golf lessons with Brian Bobbitt for the past couple weeks. My son and I share lessons and I also bring my Meetup group to be taught by Brian. All of us have loved the experience. Brian uses video cameras to record your swing. He then shows you how you compare with the pro’s by reviewing your video alongside the pro’s. Then he helps you make adjustments so you are swinging and hitting much better. Results are seen in the first 15 minutes of class! I have seen people who have never swung a club start hitting the ball straight. It’s a blast! Plus Brian has a fun sense of humor which sets everyone at ease. He doesn’t give you too much to listen to. His teaching is straightforward and effective.

It’s been great working with Brian. Started out with his group lessons and later decided to take individual lessons. He really has taken my game to the next level. Fun to work with and tons of knowledge. A++

Has truly helped my golf. I am playing MUCH better, and now can enjoy Torrey Pines! It took a few months, but it was worth it.
He also leverages video and technology very well.

Trainer switched around classes to days/​hours I could not attend and then didn’t supply a make-​up session. Items that were offered with the training, such as a free round of golf were also never received.
Trainer seemed more interested in flirting with the young girls than teaching all of the paying students.
Sadly enough, my golf game actually got worse while I was attending this training. :(
