Bridges Connect! is a new concept in health and well-​being designed by the experts of Bridges Educational Corporation. Drawing on our years of experience working with families, we have designed an exciting new space that provides something for everyone in the family. It is truly a place for recreation and rejuvenation. At Bridges Connect! everyone in the family can take advantage of our fitness center and enjoy a treat at our Connection Café. We also have a resource room where anyone can access computer stations, free WiFi, a quiet place for study or reading, or access our activity and reading library. Young kids can participate in educational activities and games in our professionally supervised Kids Connect! Club.

History

The founders of Bridges Connect! have backgrounds in child development, social work, and applied behavior analysis. What do you get when years of experience working with children and families are combined with a love of dance, fitness and healthy living? Bridges Connect!

Meet the Manager

Erin Z.

Manager

Erin Dyer Zwahlen, Ph.D., BCBA-​D

Erin is a co-​founder and executive director of Bridges Connect! She began her interest in child development during her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California, where she graduated magna sum laude with a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in child development. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from San Diego State University and University of Hawaii, respectively. She holds a graduate certificate in disaster management and humanitarian assistance and is a board certified behavior analyst. Throughout her education and career she has studied and treated the effects of trauma, displacement, and developmental disabilities on behavior. She has taught several undergraduate and graduate courses in child development and behavior at San Diego State University, University of Hawaii, National University, and Alliant University.
