Bumper Rescue

Shay is fantastic and Bumper Rescue is awesome. I had a bunch of severe scratches all over my car, but he buffed them out for a very reasonable price. Not all of it came out since some of the paint was gone, but I can live with it now so what more can you ask for? I was in and out in 1.5 hours. Highly recommended

Great prices, service and workmanship! Would not take my vehicle anywhere else for bumps and scrapes. Shay is the most honest, professional businessman and made my car look like brand new!

Finally I have time to post a review here. Few months ago, I called the owner asking if they do collision repair and the owner said yes. So I sent my car in to have a collision repair. The owner Shay told me due to the car had frame damage so he had to send it to «his» frame shop and repair it. But in fact the owner Shay doesn’t have a frame shop, he just sent my car to some backyard and asked someone to repair it. I do have the pictures of the place where he repaired my car. I will post the pictures later, you couldn’t imagine how bad the place is.
So after two months, the car is done. But the car turns out is in terrible shape, terrible paint job and body work. Frame was not pulled straight, and that makes the rear bumper can’t be installed properly! I took the car to a professional body shop, and that’s what they told me! Frame work was done improperly, I don’t believe they even used a frame puller! And this is just only the first part!
Second part: the back trunk! The repaired the back trunk like kids repairing, I will post pictures later! You couldn’t imagine it.
Third part: they didn’t even clean the car after they repaired it, so there are lots of dirts all over and inside the car! Yes INSIDE the car! Please see pictures, even though the owner paid me $ 60 for detailing it, but the detail guy told me $ 60 is not enough, and he said he ever seen a dirty car like this. Please see pictures.

At the end, I bought this case to BAR. BAR contacted the owner asking where he had the car repaired, and the owner could not show BAR the receipt of the frame work. And the owner agreed to give me $ 1250 to settle this job, but this is not what I expect. I took my car to another shop, they quoted me another $ 3000 to re-​do all the work!
You might think how much did I pay for Bumper Rescure to do this terrible job, here is the answer, four thousand dollars! So beware of them! RED FLAG! and one funny thing, when I sent my car in that day, they didn’t have a jumper to start my car! The owner had nothing at his store! And he has zero knowledge about cars! So beware!
And I have already contacted my lawer about how he improperly and unsafety repairing a vehicle, a bad frame work like he did that would cause me in serious injured on the freeway! I didnt make this up, this is all the lawer told me. This is crime my friend.
I posted the review so late because I was out of states! And now I finally have time.

Had a four inch dent on the side and several dings and scratches on front bumper. Got three estimates, Bumper Rescue was the least expensive by far. In short, the repairs were done on time and I can’t even tell where the dent was. Shay, the owner is totally professional and reliable. Highly recommended

This place is great. The spoiler on my Mazda 3 Sport S was wobbly so I made an appointment, brought the car in, and it was fixed in 30 minutes. Great service, very quick turnaround time, and close to In-​N-​Out if you’re hungry. A win-​win.

I had an excellent experience working with Shay at Bumper Rescue. My car was scraped while parked and there were several large scratches of another paint color across both doors on the passenger side, extending down to the bumper. Shay offered me a fair price, fixed it very quickly, in fact my car was ready earlier than he promised. It looks terrific; Shay knows what he’s doing and is great at his job. His demeanor is very professional. He understood my concerns and communicated clearly with me; and he was easy to work with. I highly recommend Bumper Rescue and will return if necessary.

I was referred to Shay by my trusted mechanic after one of my back tires went flat and caused part of my car near the tire to protrude outwards. Shay was great — super professional and honest. He provided a fair quote and even fixed my front license plate for free. Overall extremely happy with his work and will be coming back again for any other minor collision repairs. I have used this establishment a few times before but just met Shay for the first time. I was a little hesitant to use him when it came to such a big job on my girlfriends car. THANK GOD this man is great at his job! I picked up her car and it was flawless. The paint matched well, the gaps were the correct spacing throughout the whole front end and he had it all finished in only a day and a half. I was very impressed and will definitely use this location again for my future automobile headaches.

These guys are the absolute best! They have fixed 3 of our cars at ½ of the cost of other place’s estimates! Their communication stills are fantastic, the work is done very promptly, super honest and friendly. Look no further!

Really great, easy, fast service. I came in to get my bumper fixed and the manager made it very clear to me how I should go about doing it, contacting my insurance company, etc. I brought my dirty beat up car into the shop on Friday and was able to get it back on Saturday afternoon. He even washed the car for me! It looks great and I’m really happy with how easy and convenient it was.

Bumper Rescue still remains a solid choice for fender bender repair work. My front passenger side had a little run in with a pole. When I arrived and asked for Mike, Shay let me know he had taken over the shop about 7 months ago. I showed him the damage and he was very courteous, provided a reasonable estimate and told me he would buff out the scrape, touch up the paint and it would be ready in an hour. Came back and it looked good. The paint match was fantastic. He had the color spot on. Paid $ 80 for the work and was happy with the results. I would still recommend this place to anyone who needed body shop work.

The owner here took great care of us. My father in law had bumped his Dodge Caravan into a few things over the past couple years. He had beaten up the front left bumper and a bit in the rear.
Anyway they took good care of us. I was quoted a fair price and there were no bait and switch or made up charges. It was done when he said it would be and for the price he quoted. He even stayed open a bit late for me to pick up the van.
The damage is invisible now. You can’t even tell it happened.
Another bonus is their location… it smells like In n Out. MMmmmmm.

2^nd trip and service was as great if not greater than the first time. 1) Promised time was kept 2) Shay was very courteous 3) Prices are reasonable. 4) Workmanship was great, can’t tell there was any body work done. I am very pleased.

I was referred to these guys by a good friend of mine who had his car repaired there. They took care of me far better than I expected I’m really happy with their service and the car looks absolutely fantastic my rear bumpers was completely thrashed and they restored it to better than new condition for list price then the dealer wanted to charge me I ended up not even charging my insurance. They are really awesome and you’re in good hands with them. They even gave me a ride back and forth to my work and save me a lot of headache the real professionals and I would recommend anyone to them.

I went in for a scratched panel. The service was inexpensive, efficient, and he took me in right away. I was out in less than an hour. Excellent work and great customer service.

I got into a fender bender on Friday the 13^th. My bumper got bruised up so I was on the lookout for an inexpensive repair.
I’ve taken my car to another place in the past and was very happy with the service/​quality but I felt like shopping around to see what else was out there.
I got several estimates but decided to go with Shay’s at Bumper Rescue. I chose him due to his prompt response to my inquiry. He answered immediately even though the shop was closed. His demeanor was friendly and couteous through text as well. I liked his estimate too. It was a really good price. I decided to go with him.
Shortly after my decision, someone came in with a lower bid so I decided to go with it instead… but I did feel some reluctance because I liked my interactions with Shay. I let the lower price get the best of me so I thanked Shay for his help and made an appointment with the other guy… To make a long story short… the other guy seemed sketchy after our dealings. He had made mention of me dropping the car off at his mother in laws house & if she didn’t answer the door that I could drop my keys off in some black box… I was like WTH? I had to go back to Shay.
This guy is so nice! He gave me an additional $ 40 off, cleaned my head light lenses, got my car painted in less than 8 business hours, straighted out my bent up license plate, but best of all. my car is beautiful! They did a fantastic job.
If you have ANY minor bumper repairs, I HIGHLY recommend Bumper Rescue. Great price, service with a smile and quality work.oh.I should mention that he even offered to pay for an Über if I needed transportation to work or home after dropping my vehicle off… I really appreciated this. so thoughtful! This place exceeded my expectations!

This is a great place. I spoke with Mike and was told to come on in, I didn’t need an appointment for an estimate. I show up at 8am the next day and Mike greets my by name. He looks my car over and I show him the spots I want worked on.
The rear bumper needs to be done, and also above the rear wheel wells there are two spots on each side that needed repair. Another shop with doctor in the name wanted $ 125 for each of those spots, Mike said he could just go up a little more from the bumper and include it. That saved me $ 250 right there! There was also 2 small dings that were repaired.
My car was going to be there most of the day, so Mike offered me a ride home. I live in Clairemont so I’m not far away, but still, who does that. What a nice guy, really. He even offered to leave and pick me up, I can’t say enough about his kindness and honesty.
Speaking of honesty, I show Mike some damage to the lower portion of my front bumper. I asked about the price and he gave it to me and was willing to repair it. But he also said it would probably be a waste of money because of the location. It would more thank likely be damaged again, plus it was hard to see. He was right, and I appreciate him not just taking my money.
In the end my car looks great, and I will recommend Mike and Bumper Repair to everyone!
