CAI Work Furlough

The people in the front have attitude which I totally understand because of all the people who are in there doing time. They will ignore you till you bug them. Anyhow this review is based on all the support I got from Ms. Chavez omg she is wonderful! She’s been helping my husband so he can be out in less than a week and continue to do his time on house arrest. I extremely recommend her if your trying to get out of there & trying to become a better person. Ms Chavez & deputy Ruiz have seriously done so much for us! In one day they were able to do so much I already have my house screening appointment. It’s surprising there is still people out there trying to help out those whom are trying to get a second chance! Good luck to those who are trying to become a better person!

This place is a good alternative to jail IF you have a normal life and a good job you risk loosing and If you will do your time peacefuly and keep to your self and be a square!. But If you are someone who is easily influenced by others then this isnt the best place. This place has its good people just doing their time and then there is others who are up to no good. The men and ratchet ghetto women get to mingle arround together alot, people bring in drugs and get away with it. A relative of mine was there, he is one to be easily influenced and go with everyone elses flow and turned out getting worse in there, he was paying $ 630 biweekly only to get stupider and get 2 violations and sent to jail when he had only 3 weeks left of his 4 month sentence in there. If you think you will F up in there, just dont go, do your time and save money in jail. My opinion. This wasnt the best idea for my pal. He lost a good job for messing with loosers in there. over $ 5000 in less than 3 months down the drain. Dont be a dumbie, its not worth it.

People who say serving their custody time in jail is better off are crazy. This place gives you enough freedom to find a job, work full-​time for that job, and go to church, which means, time not in custody, plus you don’t have to stay inside a cell 99% of your time there. Could it be better? Of course, but then again it’s not like you’re staying in a resort. Don’t like the food? Look for a job and eat on the outside, that simple.
Don’t give the staff attitude and you won’t get attitude back from them, it’s actually pretty easy to get along with them and they’ll actually leave you alone once they know you aren’t a problem.
For those that prefer spending their custody time in jail… good luck.

This place is terrible and how do they still operate when the break so many federal guidelines. They say their a non-​profit but if you saw the living conditions there you would wonder where the money is going. They charge you 1200 a month to live there. If you do have a job you can forget trying to get any sleep because the monitors think its funny to come in your dorm room once an hour all night long slamming the door on your way out. You are honestly better off doing your time in jail, odds are they are going to find any little reason to send you back to county anyway. The «monitors» are younger and more immature than most of the residents there. A few have even been fired for selling items to inmates and one for sexual misconduct with a female resident. Also any good time credits you get from a judge they take away when you get there readjusting your release date for 30 days later all in an attempt to get more money out of you. Trust me from experience, avoid this at all cost, I know county sucks but this is even worse.
