Living at Casa Mira View is one of the worst life experiences you can ever have! If there is an option of ZERO stars I would. They fool you because it looks nice and have nice amenities. First, after a year living there I contact management about my neighbor constantly hitting my car door and denting it, when they talked to them they said since they have kid and she’s pregnant that they couldn’t do anything about it. I asked for another spot and they said they couldn’t assign another one since it’s pre-​assigned. So advise if you have a nice car, Casa Mira view isn’t the place for you or just simply you’ll have to park in the resident overflow. Second, no matter how much they spray for bugs, they are always coming back. They disappear for a day or two and come back again. Third and most important, after a year with perfectly happy neighbors, we got the most annoying upstairs neighbors with a devil child, I won’t blame it on the kid because it’s the parents that walk like gorillas upstairs. Complained and reported about 10 times to security and management and all they can say well they have a kid and he’s trying to live his life, WHAT ABOUT US TRYING TO LIVE OUR LIVES AS WELL? Just know that if you ever have an issue, management won’t do anything, pretty much useless. Rent is a lot but we thought that we get treated better than another place but that isn’t the case. If you have an issue I recommend skipping management and dealing with it yourself.

Let’s start by saying the reasons you might be attracted to Casa Mira View (CMV): The amenities (pools, bowling alley, gym, etc, etc), the blue lights, the premium quality of the apartment, the size and floorplan. Everything sounds great right? It’s not!
First of all, these apartments are not premium quality. The cabinets and drawers are made of cheap particle board. This means that it’s not real wood and it breaks easily. I’ve heard from maintenance that replacing cabinet hinges is a very very common problem. Also, you would think for a new apartment that there wouldn’t be a pest problem, but we have already had to call them to spray for roaches. There is no reason for these roaches to be here, we don’t leave food out or leave dirty dishes laying around. Even after having sprayed for roaches, we still have them scurrying across our counters, in our sinks and sometimes even running around in the bathtub.
Our lease stated that there is supposed to be a quiet time between 10pm and 7am. We are about 10+ compliments about our upstairs neighbors walking extremely heavily and dropping, hitting, tossing large things everywhere above us and nothing has been solved. They tell the management and security officers that it’s there kid making all this noise and they can’t do anything about it. But I keep telling them that when you feel room shuttering foot steps and freight train like running, its not an 18th month toddler. Also, I can’t seem to figure out how heavy things are getting moved on the floor or dropped from high heights by a toddler. Needless to say, complaints are heard but they don’t care. I fully expect a response from CMV where they will talk about a solution but continue to give us excuses.
Do not fall for their sales pitch, stay far away from this place because you will regret it.

Our lease at our current place ends soon, so we were looking for a new place to reside & out of all apartments we went to look at none of them compared to Casa Mira View. We love everything about it, their location, amenities, special offers & especially their customer service! We had the pleasure of working with Sheila & from day one we’ve had a great experience with her. She was very professional about everything, she was very informative, had an answer for all of our questions & we felt well taken care of when working with her. :) we are excited to move into our new apartment at Casa Mira View & would recommend this Apartment complex to anyone, as well as Recommending Sheila for her great customer service! :)

I lived here for one year with my husband and son. We moved out because we bought out first house. For rental property, this is at best. We however did suffer from noise from upstairs and it is kind of troublsome to get up and down the parking tructure with so many bumps, but the apartment is very well layout and clean, comes with full sizes washer/​dryer, as well as the other amenities that it offers, the three floor gym, large pools, great view hot tub on the third floor in the leading office building! I missed the big community feel and the big pools. It was nice memory I would like to leave my review for it.

My update after living at Casa Mira View for one year.
I have to remove two stars. One because unfortunately parking got worse. Right before I left they made a rule that you can only park on your parking level. So, that meant I would go down five floors (unbelievable amount of speed bumpers) drop my daughter in school, drive back five floors. Few hours later… time to pick up my daughter… drive down five floors, drive back five floors. Sometimes I gave up going to a grocery store or restaurant because it would put me in over 10 trips in the parking lot.
The other removal of star is for the new property manager. I wouldn’t say she is condescending, but close. She talks to you like you are an apartment number. The previous manager was able to be nice and professional at the same time. The new one doesn’t’ seem to have the ability to handle these two qualities at the same time. Other than that I highly recommend Casa Mira View. I loved living there. The apartments are spacious and have lots of storage, I have never had a single issue with noise… never heard my neighbors and the unit I choose was away from the freeway so it wasn’t an issue.. I will always miss the view I had from my apartment. Everyone who works in the office is wonderful to deal with, the maintenance are top notch and I even disagree with the reviews about the secure guards. I find them very professional, very nice and accommodating.
The amenities as everyone knows are unique. They even have a very nice band that plays there often.

This review ONLY applies to Danae the leasing consultant. Since day one, Danae has been nothing but helpful. She has a great personality and she’s really professional. Thanks to her we are currently residents at Casa Mira View. So sad that she’s on leave until April, but if you are coming to tour the facility when she’s back to work ask for Danae you will NOT be disappointed. As for the service of the apartments, I can say we are really happy with our 1 bedroom apartment. We have only been here for a week so I don’t want to write a review of the apartment complex since we are still testing the waters. One good thing I can say is the bowering ally is SO much fun! Defiantly call ahead and ask for reservations, all my guest had a blast. One bad thing I can say, we had a situation with our guest’s truck unfairly towed, since it’s a holiday week we have not had a chance to speak to management. I’m hoping once we do speak to them everything will be resolved and I’ll be able to post a great review about the apartments. As of now Danae is the 5 star rating in customer service! Thanks again Danae!!!

I really loved this apartment when I lived here. Management was good when you need them.
Actual trouble came after when we left the apartment. They did initial inspection before I left, and that person told everything is pretty neat n perfect in the house including the carpet. We maintained the house very clean during our 1 year stay.
After we left the apartment, CasaMiraView charged me 500 $ carpet replacement charges & 100 $ cleaning charges.
We can understand 100 $ for cleaning but it’s insane to charge 500 $ for carpet replacement. I felt that very unprofessional, it is completely opposite to what they told me during the pre inspection.
I came to San Diego all the way from LA to discuss this with leasing office, they simply told us to email CASAMIRAVIEW communities & not to expect any reply for 1 – 2 weeks because they are very busy. I was surprised that they don’t even know why they charged me 500 $ for the carpet cleaning. No records of the charges which is so stupid and a lame answer.
So far I recommended this apartment to all my friends but NOT anymore.

The apartment was nice. However the parking structure is ridiculous, the security is crappy, and their customer service is horrible. Someone parked in my assign spot that I pay extra for and their solution was to park in someone else’s spot.

My Fiancé and I toured the community earlier this week for the first time and we’re blown away. We flew down from the Bay Area to do some apartment searching and found Casa Mira View down the street from another community we were looking at.
Danae the lovely leasing consultant we got paired with is such a pleasure to work with, she told us everything and anything we need/​should know about Casa Mira View. She was very informative and very accommodating in showing us exactly what were looking for. We have looked at a bunch of communities and although huge Casa Mira View gives a lot of space and amenities for their pricing. We are big Gym Goers and the gym is more than we could ever ask for. We do hope to make Casa Mira View our new home in January and with the great help of Danae to make the process as smooth as possible.
For all Unilocalers who are looking or considering looking at Casa Mira View please do not get caught up in all the bad reviews. Remember, people are always faster to report the bad than to report the good. Take every review with a grain of salt because to each is own and everyone will have a different experience. You are joining an apartment community not buying your house so the community can not make every renter super happy, but I know they will do their best.

I’ll start with the positives.
Great amenities with a great gym, pool and kids areas. Apartment is spacious. We loved working with Kristina Johnson as she is very detailed and professional.
The maintenance team has been top notch and always available as well.
Negatives:
We park on the first floor of the garage and I still worry about having to get my alignment fixed every 3 months because of all of the angles speed bumps.
The apartments are so poorly built that we hear music, arguments, and almost anything else in the apartment above us. Every step sounds like thunder and the inclusion of dogs only adds to the noise.
The construction and trash collection noise are almost constant during the week and they come to empty dumpsters before 8am every Saturday so don’t ever plan to sleep in.
The kids area is great, but it’s rarely cleaned and the staff never enforces the rules. There are kids who are too big causing chaos, families who don’t remove their shoes as is the policy, and an overall lack of cleanliness for a room where small kids play.
We pay a lot in rent and then have to pay hundreds more to bring a few friends over as you are capped with 2 people per resident due to there being 1000+ units.
If you plan to move in here, count the cost and make sure you are willing to pay high prices along with the additional headaches.

The apartments themselves are nice. There’s lot of space and storage. The amenities are awesome. There’s an onsite gym with fitness classes that are available to residents. There’s a really nice children’s play center, bowling, a café, salon, dry cleaning, pools, etc. I also love that it’s walking distance to the H-​mart/​Daiso/​bakery!
My only complaints are the insane number of speed bumps in the parking garage (I understand that they’re there for «safety» but people still drive crazy so it’s obviously not working) and the floors/​ceilings seem very thin. I can hear the person above us walking around at all hours.
There’s also constant construction noise as they build their next phases. Doesn’t bother us too much, but I can see how that would be annoying to other people. I haven’t had too much interaction with the staff, as I’ve seen complaints about rudeness, so I can’t speak too much on that. They haven’t seemed the friendliest when I’ve interacted with them, but not outright rude.
All in all, pleasant enough, but I’m glad that we’re only here short term while my husband is working on a project for a client.

The staff is always friendly, responsive and a pleasure to work with! More notably, Alexandra’s personal touch with everything that she does is a standout! We love her attentiveness and all of the effort she puts forth to plan and coordinate all of the fun events at the property (Movie Night, Casa Cocktail Hour, and Cooking Classes)!
4.5– STARS: Property
The property offers a wide range of amenities that make our stay with Casa Mira View very pleasant! The standouts are definitely the resort-​style pool, Café Zzo, Salon, and entertainment area.
5– STARS: Wellness and Other Services
The state-​of-​the-​art fitness facility, and extra services like personal training (Dante Nash, Master Trainer and Sports Nutritionist) and Onsite Doctor (Dr. Michael Scott, Integrated Systems Chiropractic) are an incredible addition to the comfortable and convenient living at Casa!

I am sooooo pleased with my experience at casa mira view. By far the most gorgeous complex I have ever lived and with the most helpful staff. I have been lucky enough to work with Kristina Johnson. She is professional, attentive, personable and the sweetest person. She is always accessible and she gets things take care of immediately.
This apartment is more than mere housing, if feels like home with a fabulous community.

Have to say that Casa Mira View is a great place to live! We moved in here in May, went from living in houses with a not so caring out of town landlord. Went from working in the home and around the home all our waking hours to «Feels like we are always on VACATION» here at Casa Mira View.
The events that are planned for residents are well thought and planned thanks to our Residents Services Coordinator Alexandra Bashikirova. Recently attended the wine tasting/​mixology event and it was a great time to meet our neighbors and learn more about the differences in tastings and a bit of history of Bourbon! Thank you Chef Geordie for the great evening and wonderful watermelon, cucumber, avocado salad!
Family movie nights by the pool on Saturdays are amazing options for those with young ones.
Only reason why I selected 4 stars is because of those inconsiderate residents in the complex who do not comply with the no smoking rules and do not seem to know how to open the door and place their garbage in the readily available chutes.
The level of professionalism is very good, those who have received less than stellar service may want to ask if they did their own due diligence in complying with either requests or the resident rules. The staff has always been very good about following up with residents.
If you want to live in a place that feels like you’re always in a timeshare, this is it! By the way, Café Z has great cheesecake and a tasty menu!

Great apartment… terrible tenants, managers and rules. The rules say no dogs yet nobody follows. The rules say no smoking yet nobody follows. Make sure you read thier small print because they will trick you with it. For example I found out that management is allowed to sell their pool to outsiders for private parties so their greedy ass can make more money. This is not fair to the community that pays for the amenities.

Although a nice place, I’ve always had a problem with the level of professionalism of the leasing office/​residents services personnel since day one. This ruined the entire experience for me.
1– First day to walk in there, I liked the place and the floor plan that was available and told the agent that I would like to proceed with leasing this. The rate at that day was $ 1950 (or $ 1925). She told me she’ll hold the file to that apartment and asked me to file the application online to save time. I realized after that she didn’t give me the right link to fill out that online application. I tried to get in touch with her on email and phone, it took me about 2 hours into the following morning to get an answer. So I decided to just walk-​in and fill that out. Going there again I realizes the rate was up to $ 2050!!! Who on earth would say that that was my problem. Still they told me that’s the only option I had. Not the best start off.
2– They open the office at 9:30, or that’s what they keep on saying. I left home a little bit late the other day to pick up a package on my way to work. I waited there from 9:30 till 10:00. They had a meeting! WTH! What about my time and other people’s times? ZERO professionalism.
3– They keep saying the Jacuzzi by the gym closes at 9. Every night I see people their till 10 pm. While the doors are actually closed. Do you think that’s fair? Letting some people in but not the others?
I’m not happy with this management.
Update (down from 2 stars to 1): They don’t even reply to my emails.

Speed bumps, speed bumps, speed bumps, yeah slow down but why do you have to ruin my tires, and damage the bottom of my car along the way, and I know that I’m not the only one who feels this way on this especially since a person on the first floor also wrote a review on this same subject. The staff is nice, and I haven’t had to deal with maintenance, but remove that silly «art work for the front as in the calm blue structure less beams out front with the spaghetti art work and the star wars droideka mark II.
Other than that everything is wonderful and very beautiful! Well done especially on the pool!!! I have finally met my neighbors who by the way are very nice. They have people that clean the hallways and also the garage which excites my because the place is so big, yet they manage to get most if not all spots.
My only complaint is the beginning with the SPEED BUMPS!!!

I usually don’t go back and edit reviews but I seriously had to move this from 4 stars to 1 because the amount of speed bumps is getting ridiculous. It’s a total of 15 speed bumps that I have to go through just to get to my parking space. Do not stay in these apartments!!!
