We provide dignified care for seniors who need a bit of extra assistance in their day to day living activities.

Private rooms with Personal Assistants who are available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. We provide balanced meals, snacks, housekeeping, social opportunities and fun activities. We supervise of all medications by storing them and delivering them to the resident at the proper times.

Casa Rosa is a beautiful Spanish influenced home, located in a quiet neighborhood, just blocks from the ocean on a hill between Point Loma and Ocean Beach.

History

Established in 2001.

Our owner and administrator, Dana Woods, a licensed nurse, developed the business plan, located this lovely home, obtained the proper permits, she hired our Personal Assistants and began accepting residents in 2001. Prior to opening Casa Rosa, Dana, operated a small in home care business serving the coastal San Diego areas. With this extensive background in caring for seniors in their own homes, Dana, had decided to help seniors six at a time instead of one at a time. She located the very best helpers who not only showed the ability to do the work correctly, but showed a exceptional caring attitude toward the persons they were assisting. Casa Rosa has established a positive reputation in the neighborhood and is becoming quite well known throughout San Diego as a more desireable residential care facility for Seniors.

Business Owner

Dana Woods is a Licensed Vocational Nurse and the Licensed Administrator of Casa Rosa Assisted Living. She has well over 25 years experience in caring for the needs of senior adults and at least 20 years of business management. She is currently working on a book that will provide information to the reader on how to best organize care for a senior member who wishes to remain in their own home with assistance
