Great, informational organization with super friendly staff.

At best sloppy and incompetent; at worst unethical. This is why people don’t trust government.

I wish the organization was accountable for the actions of its staff. My company was cheated out of rebate money because of consistently changing rules and at the discretion of a questionable program director. Being an avid enthusiast of renewable energy, I have to say this organization does more harm than good. I would strongly urge others in the movement to push to have rebate programs administered by an actual state agency, because financial incentives make this organization behave like a for profit corporation than a cooperative partner.

This place is great for seminars on solar energy. They have a lending library and a «museum» of energy that is great for school field trips. The people who work here are committed to help you, too.

Friendly, helpful, and smart people. This place is the best location in San Diego to learn how to save energy and live a sustainable lifestyle.
They offer many free workshops on all aspects of energy and sustainable living. There is a small showroom that displays the latest in energy efficient technology. On display are solar collectors, energy efficient appliances, the latest in lighting, and much more. There is a library that contains videos, books, and DVDs. A tool lending program is provided free to the general public. They have speakers and advisers that can help you with energy saving decisions.

The California Center for Sustainable Energy (CCSE) aims to assist residents, businesses, government agencies and other non-​profits in implementing alternative energy resources.
CCSE provides cash incentives for:

Purchase or lease a qualified alternative fuel vehicle and get up to $ 5,000 in cash incentives through CCSE’s Fueling Alternatives program;
Solar power for electricity:
Install solar photovoltaic systems and get cash incentives for up to $ 2.50 per watt generated through the California Solar Initiative;
Solar power for water heating:
Install solar water heating systems and get up to $ 1,500 in cash incentives through the Solar Water Heating Pilot Program;
Wind power for electricity:
Install wind turbines and get up to $ 1.50 per watt generated through the Self-​Generation program
