Established in 1997, Challenged Athletes Foundation® (CAF) grew out of a desire to assist one athlete paralyzed in a triathlon. From this modest beginning arose a more important mission to make sure people with physical challenges have the same freedom to enjoy sports as everyone else.

I’m writing this review as a community member, turned volunteer, turned fundraiser. CAF is all about the mission – inspiring athletes with physical challenges through sports. They do an amazing job at it too.
Operation Rebound is targeted at wounded veterans and first responders. When you get your butt kicked, in a race, by one of these athletes, you can’t help but be inspired. They will encourage you to reach heights you didn’t imagine you could.
Run in their races, donate to their cause, embrace their mission. You’ll inspire yourself when you do.
