Established in 2012.

Founded in San Diego and performing internationally; Cirque Quirk is a tour du force of high-​energy entertainment. Created to share our love of the performing arts to provide awe and inspiration to audiences worldwide.

Nathaniel A.

Business Owner

Nathaniel grew up on a family farm outside of Portland, OR and was very active growing food with his family. He began soccer and the Boy Scouts at 8, ending up an Oregon state Champion, and Eagle Scout! Early on, he proved himself as a math whiz, winning school and statewide competitions and was a 4.0 student who won various awards. After taking the SATs at age 13, he was placed into a private college prep school and continued to excel through high school and college before traveling. He enjoys traveling (especially bicycle touring), yoga, backpacking, and carries his juggling gear everywhere he goes! Nathaniel is an avid «foodie» /​nutritionist, loves cooking and smoothies and also has a passion for massage, and permaculture!

6 Stars!!! My company hosted a 300 guest, circus-​themed, holiday party. A month later, guests are still talking about it. There are only a few companies in town that offer circus entertainment. I contacted them all and EASILY decided on Cirque Quirk. Best service, value and selection of talent. Nathaniel was great to work with. Responded almost instantly to every email and phone call. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly and helpful. Honestly, he’s the best in town.

We are a full service Event Production Company specializing is Coordination and Design. We recently had the pleasure of working with Nathaniel on a carnival themed Event we put on for a client and boy are we glad we found him. He was personable and professional from the very beginning and if his kind demeanor wasn’t enough, his pricing and wide variety of services offered were. Accomodating our wishes with attire and character, our Event was only everything it became because of the character Cirque Quirk brought to the table. Greeting our guests at the door on stilts and keeping the children intrigued from start to finish. Nathaniel made us want to do many more Carnival/​Circus themed Events just to be able to spotlight his teams talents and genuine enjoyment for what they do!

I am the Events and Promotions Assistant at Belmont Park in Mission Beach and I hired Nathaniel for the Family Nights here as extra entertainment for the kids. He performed 2 juggling acts that the families adored and walked around the park on stilts. Nathaniel is very professional and an amazing performer, I would recommend him for any party. Nathaniel was a fabulous performer as well as being easy to work with and professional. He was great at interacting with our crowd and improvising when necessary. We booked him for a large event (over 20,000 people) and the juggling stilt-​walker act was a great choice because he could be seen by a great deal of people at all times. I am a co-​organizer of a grassroots LGBT community group in Los Angeles. We recently had the distinct pleasure of Nathaniel doing stilt performance in character to help our group gain visibility at LA Pride, both in the parade as well as at the festival. He’s amazing and equally personable on and off his stilts! I have been part of the tribal underground community in Los Angeles for over 15 years and have seen a ton of stilt performances over the years and I have to say that Nathaniel has some truly impressive tricks up his sleeve. For example, I have never seen a stilt performer run on stilts like he can. It is awe inspiring, and that’s saying a lot coming from someone who has been to Burning Man four times and to multiple other festivals where stilt performance is somewhat commonplace. He is playful in character, engages well with the crowd and really helped make our group stand out this weekend! Thank you, Nathaniel!

Nathaniel absolutely rocks! He came and entertained my daughters and their friends. Not only was his energy and show off the charts but he also ended up engaging the adults in a way that was totally unexpected. His passion for his craft is so exuberant that it was hard not to feel happy and excited about being part of his performance. The kids were totally pumped and the adults loved it as well. We hired Nathaniel for our daughter’a 12th birthday and he made it special! We went overboard with the invites and had over 100 people show up to celebrate. Since our daughter was going in for spinal fusion surgery a week later, the extreme fun and supportive attitude of Cirque Quirk was just what the doctor ordered. We kept in touch with Nathan after the event and plan to invite him back for our youngest daughter’s 10th birthday! I bet he takes it up a notch since you can tell he loves what he does.

Cirque Quirk is an awesome addition to any fun event you have planned! He helped us at the Gompers Park National Night out last week and his presence was AMAAAAAZING! The kids and families loved him! He had the kids running around, being active and having fun around the whole park! He even played some soccer while on stilts! And dance to some great music! Livens up any party for sure!

This guy is great! Can really entertain a crowd. His timing, skill and balance are awe inspiring!
He is fun guy to be around and has mix bag of tricks! I personally love his choice in wardrobe, too! I have personally worked with the guy and seen him perform… thoroughly impressed with his knowledge base, juggling, make-​up, stilts work, fire tricks!!!

I would definitely recommend Cirque Quirk for all of your entertainment needs. We used Nathan for a big event and he was a hit for kids and adults alike.
Along with having amazing juggling skills and being able to walk AND jump on stilts, he has a glowing personality which makes him easy to work with.
If fire is your thing, he does that too. Juggling bowling pins on fire mixes the right amount of danger and fun.
He offers a range of costumes too, so if there is a specific theme you are looking for, you can always ask. He dressed as a clown for us.
All in all a way big thumbs up and I’d definitely use them again.
