CJ Frank Carpet Cleaning

I don’t understand how someone runs a business with a «mailbox is full» message when you call to set an appointment for service. I’ve tried several times and get the same message each time.

As nice as CJ Frank is on the phone, Im afraid his performance did not reflect.
I waited over an hour for my appointment today (12÷8÷15) at 2:30pm. Took time out of my schedule to come home and wait. Well, NO SHOW. Very disappointing. Left 2 messages and no call back. When i was making the appointment he didnt pick up the first time and i left a message but he called back then. He mentioned he was just finished with an appointment (which ok let it slide, understandable), but now he hasnt called back. Very disappointed :/

A friend of mine bought a Groupon, but ended up moving before she could use it, so she gave it to me. I called CJ before it expired and he assured me that I didn’t have to rush to make the appointment, that he would honor the discounted price at any time, so I made an appointment with him 5 days after the expiration date. Yeah… like with everyone else… he was a no show. I called him 15 minutes in to the appointment to check on him, since I hadn’t heard from him either. Of course he didn’t answer… apparently that’s his MO. I didn’t even bother to call him back after reading the Unilocal reviews. This guy seemed so nice and professional over the phone. I can’t even relate to people like this… how do you live with yourself on a day to day basis. Disgusting. Did I mention we moved all of our furniture for him?

These guys are NOT professional.
We booked them weeks in advance to come early morning before our move. The arrival time came and went. No call. No show.
We call them. Oops they overbooked… the guy is sick… blah. blah… all understandable.
We are promised a reschedule later in the day. No Call. No Show.
We call, no answer.
How we do some things is how we do all things.
I wouldn’t trust this company to take out my trash.

CJ is awesome, fast, and friendly! I contacted him after seeing an ad on groupon. Although his offered deals didn’t fit my needs, he was very accommodating & designed a package that worked well for the setup of my apartment. He came in on a Sunday and finished everything within an hour and a half and gave us a great deal. Our stairs & couches look like new thanks to him! Would definitely use him again in the future/​recommend him to friends. Thanks again CJ!

I scheduled CJ on Nov 1^st for 10am. I had to unfortunately reschedule for the following Sunday (Nov 8^th), but I forgot to call him and let him know. He showed up at my house when I was at work and began texting me at 9:45am. He was 15 minutes early to what should have been our appointment. I was very apologetic and CJ couldn’t have been nicer about my mistake.
Just like the previous Sunday, CJ was early to our 9am appointment on the 8^th. He cleaned my bedroom and living room, and was out the door before 10am. I have two cats (who CJ was very great with!) and my carpets look great. I will be using him again in the future.

Reasonable prices did a great job! I was kinda expecting a confirmation call However work was fast !

I had called and scheduled an appointment 3 weeks in advance. On the day of expected service, I got up early and worked hard to move furniture and items out if the bedrooms. The appointment was for 9:30, which is the time he called to say he was going to be an hour and a half late. He never showed, did not answer my calls and did not bother to return my messages or call back.
To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. But I do believe everything happens for a reason. Perhaps I would have been more sorry if he had shown up. This is my first review… I hope those that value their time and values in service will look elsewhere to find it.

I decided I needed my couches cleaned so I called up CJ’s and within a few days they were out here, awesome! My couch looked so amazing that I asked them to also clean my two slipper chairs that I just got off Craigslist. They did a great job and it only took about an hour! I would definitely recommend them.

I hired this company to clean my living room furniture. He arrived 30 minutes late without apology. In the process of cleaning my furniture, they left a huge stain on my living room area rug. I had just purchased the rug the day before. The stain is big and brown and about 20 inches in diameter. I posted a picture of the stain on this site. When I called him to talk about this, he acted like he hadn’t seen the spot, which would have been impossible. It took several phone calls before he responded and that was only by text. I sent him a picture of the stain and he told me not to touch it an he would come out the next weekend and clean it. He showed up 45 minutes late, without apology, and repeatedly stated that my rug must have been defective. He proceeded to clean it and left an even worse stain. He never once apologized for this event. He was full of excuses. He left that day with an agreement to return 4 days later to try another approach. He never showed up for the last appointment, nor would he answer my calls. This man is so unethical. PLEASE do not be lured in by his low prices… he is bad.

I bought a groupon for a couch cleaning. We played phone tag for a few days and made an appointment. I did not read the Unilocal reviews in advance and was worried about the outcome. But had already purchased the groupon.
CJ showed up on time. He was super nice. My couch looked great after he cleaned it. I also asked him for a quote to clean 2 large carpets and my kitchen floor. He quoted me on the spot and stayed to clean both. He steam cleaned my kitchen floor and sealed the grout. The price I paid for the kitchen floor was ½ the price of competitors and he was the only company I called that did not want to take the rugs with them to clean. He cleaned them both at my house.
I am happy I called him and will call again.

Made an appointment for 09:00 am on July 25^th, 2015. NO SHOW and NO return on my Voice Messages. POOR service and I believe that purchasing this on Groupon was a big mistake. Too much business for them to handle. Pay extra for a professional company!

I called CJ to get an appointment for carpet clean. In the phone call, we had discussed on pricing of $ 99 service and the terms of applying credit of $ 30 from a Unilocal Coupon. CJ says he’ll honor the credit once he checks it. He tells me to bring it on the day of cleaning for verification.
Low & behold, CJ did not honor his words. First, he couldn’t verify redemption code without a computre/​smartphone and blamed me for not providing the Unilocal Code on the phone prior to his arrival. Not once did CJ instruct me to provide him the code through TELEPHONE prior to his arrival.
He then proceeds to say that the coupon is not valid with any special offers. Not once during our phone discussion did CJ mention the $ 99 pricing is a special offer.
TO CJ: I WAS NOT ASKING FOR YOU TO HONOR THE PROMOTIONAL VALUE of $ 50. All I wanted was the $ 30 credit that I had forked out in advance to be applied towards the job. COUPON STATES: YOU HAVE 1 YR TO REDEEM YOUR VOUCHER FOR PROMOTIONAL VALUE. AFTER THAT, YOUR VOUCHER IS REDEEMABLE FOR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID.

I sure wish I would have checked Unilocal before entrusting my last day with my 5 bedroom house to CJ carpet cleaning.
I thought I had it all planned out to get carpets cleaned last. Nope.
Not only did he tell me he was at the house cleaning and would call me to go pay him when done. He never even started the job.
After several attempts to call him with a VM full, I drove over to pay and nothing was done.
He lied and left me high and dry. Just like he has done to so many others on this site.
Wish we could put him out of business. I am writing a letter to groupon as well. That should not advertise for this guy.

We bought a groupon for carpet cleaning service for our condo. This guy came over, did some of his job and left. We noticed a bunch of dog hair left all along the edges the carpet as soon as he left. We decided that was no big deal until we looked outside. He dumped his machine all over our lawn and thrashed it! There’s dog hair and trash all over the place (crayons, bandaids, plastic beads, thumb tacks, etc.) and it looks like he used a pressure washer on it because the grass is all bent and broken at the base. We have a bunch of new grass growing and it’s all going to die now. Then on top of it, we call him back to clean up his mess and he throws us an attitude and starts bashing our lawn, saying it looked like crap anyway! Here, jerk, you clearly don’t know anything about grass, so let me enlighten you: YOU CAN’T MOW NEW GRASS BECAUSE IT WILL DIE! To add insult to injury, the carpet still looks exactly like it did when he got here this morning, only now it’s wet. Thanks for the great work, CJ!

I got a coupon and call them for appointment they were 45 minutes late I was really mad, I was like ready to cancel but after they show up I was very satisfied with they job I will call them again but careful with the appointments

I bought a Groupon for this company. The first time I called the main line, which is a phone number that is answered by the owner, he said he would call me back when I finally got him on the line. This was a relief since I had left him messages several times that never got returned. After he assured me he would call me back, he never did. These calls were over the course of a week or so as well, so it was not as though I was being impatient or as though he was just busy on an abnormal day.
The second round of calls resulted in me finally getting him on the phone long enough to make an appointment, at which point he, the owner, assured me he would come out personally on the following Tuesday. On Tuesday, I had received no call, and the window in which he was to show up had begun. I called him to get his ETA, at which point he said he was running late by an hour. I said no problem, and he said that he was glad that I called because he now had my number, which he hadn’t taken down the first time, which is why he hadn’t let me know he was running late.
Fast forward to the evening, and he had flat out never showed up to fulfill his obligation. He didn’t call, and he stopped answering his phone, which I began calling every hour for a few hours after he was about 4 hours late for his service window. It has now been several weeks, and he just never bothered to try and contact me again. I want my money back and have no interest in him fulfilling his services now. This man is either trying to rip people who have Groupons off or is so mind blowingly disorganized that he can’t fulfill the basic business services he makes his living on, even if the client leaves a trail of breadcrumbs to try and lure him to his next location. The worst part is that he sound so nice and polite on the phone. He is a con artist. Do not use him.

Absolutely the WORST customer service experience I have had in a while. I will never recommend him to anyone, and I have passed his information to my landlord so that she can inform tenants in her other units.
I bought a Groupon for carpet cleaning. Mistake #1. I usually only buy Groupon Goods or Groupons for ice cream. I should have known that CJ would be terrible when I didn’t receive a phone call back after attempting to reach him to schedule our carpet cleaning and Groupon redemption. Mistake #2 was mentioning in my voicemail that I had purchased a Groupon. Don’t tell them until they are AT YOUR RESIDENCE. I waited a few hours and tried to call back around 4pm. No answer and no callback for over 24 hours. I tried calling a 3^rd time and, when I didn’t receive an answer, instead of leaving a message I hung up and called from another phone. What do you know… CJ answered! He told me he was almost positive he had an appointment on the day I requested. When I mentioned the Groupon, he asked if he could look at his appointment book and call me back. Yes, you guessed it! He never called back!!!
I waited another day or two and called from yet another number. He already knew my name, so I just scheduled for the absolute last option that I had before our move-​out date (I had been trying to schedule for a week already). I told him that my husband would be waiting for him at the appointment time. My husband waited nearly 2 HOURS and CJ never showed.
You guessed right, again! When I called to find out where he might be, he didn’t answer. I let him know how dissatisfied I was and that I expected a call back to reschedule immediately. Two weeks later, I still have never heard from him. My landlord had to help me find a new, emergency carpet cleaner (Air-​o-​Mist … AWESOME!) and now I’m working with Groupon to get a refund of my $ 75.
Don’t waste your time or your money. If a company cannot handle the volume of business that the market reach of Groupon would give, they can at least have a plan in place to work with their customers.

I’m going to royally bash CJ Frank for not only leaving me high and dry, but for having the worst work ethic and moral foundation I’ve ever seen in a company.
With my fast approaching move I was desperate to book a carpet cleaner on a Saturday, with move out being the following day. Being a man always looking for a deal I decided to hunt on Groupon. That is when I stumbled upon CJ. 3 room, no more than 740 sq feet for 70 $. Hell yeah, smoking deal. I swiftly purchased the Groupon and gave CJ a ring to set up an appointment. He was kind, courteous and seemed happy to come by and clean my carpets. He even said that he had another appointment later that afternoon in the same apartment complex.
Well D Day approached and I drove to my old apartment complex to greet CJ and finish a few things before the place was inspected. 30 minutes went by… Nothing. I finished up all of my tasks’ and looked at my watch. I had scheduled CJ to come by at 09:30, it was now 10:30. I tried to call him but not only did he fail to answer, his inbox was too full to accept anymore messages. I tried another 3 times. No luck. I waited around for another 30 minutes and even went to get a coffee around the corner. The time was now 11:30 (2 hours past our appointment). I was far past being kind, so I decided to blow up CJ’s phone with phone calls. After the 3^rd call CJ decided to turn off his phone. Seriously? you can’t even answer your damn phone and tell me to piss off? I would almost prefer it.
4 Hours later I decided to call CJ one more time to try and get an answer. Holy Moly! his phone was back on. Even his voice mail now worked! I decided to leave a frustrated voice mail asking for an answer as to why he failed to show, call, email… anything. Due to the fact that I denied to have my apartment complex clean the carpets since I had good olé’ CJ coming, I incurred a sweet penalty and a fat bill for their contracted carpet cleaner. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS DICK BAG OF A BUSINESS OWNER. I called Groupon and thankfully was reimbursed. This will be just the first of many reviews left for this god forsaken business on social media sites. I vow to close him down.
