History

Established in 2006.

Founded in Oct. 2006 as a project within K-​Co Construction, a family owned Clairemont business, the newspaper became a separate entity solely owned by Janet Miller in Oct. 2008. The newspaper has had a circulation of 23,000 or more each month since Oct. 2006 and has never in its existence (70 issues) missed a publication/​distribution date. Operated almost single-​handedly by Janet Miller, the newspaper enjoys a great deal of support from readers and has a very positive reputation within the local business community.
