History

Established in 2013.

This business was started because too many people were finding it difficult to find jobs, housing, and apply for government benefits after a criminal conviction. Having practiced in criminal defense, managing attorney Lisa Wong started this criminal expungement law firm in San Diego to help people move on from their past and focus on their future.

Ms. Wong, supervising attorney at the Clean Record Law Center has handled many criminal cases. She has seen the insides of many courtrooms and is a great evaluator of cases. When speaking with her clients, Ms. Wong was surprised at fact that many people were walking around with criminal convictions and how many people did not know about the expungement process. What Ms. Wong enjoys most about her practice, are the calls she gets after an expungement is granted and her clients telling her about their new jobs and/​or promotions, how they got their new apartment, or their relief that they can finally put their past behind them.
