Dr. Munish Batra, voted Top Plastic Surgeon by the San Diego County Medical Society, is the founder of Coastal Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Batra has a worldwide reputation for breast surgery, facial surgery and body contouring. He is the developer of the GBRx technique for full body surgical reconstruction after massive weight loss from bariatric intervention. The greatest testament to his success is the high volume of referrals from patients and physicians. He has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, ABC News, People Magazine and The L.A. Times.

Dr. Alfonso Camberos is Senior Partner at Coastal Plastic Surgeons, certified in microsurgical reconstructive surgery, which is extremely beneficial for post-​mastectomy breast reconstruction.

Thank you Dr. Batra for the amazing work that you’ve done for me. I searched for over a year and sat through many consultations with different surgeons, but Dr. Batra made me feel the most comfortable. He sat down with me during my consultation and talked to me like a normal human being. He told me about himself, his work and what he thinks would look best for me and my body. It has been 8 weeks since surgery and I am incredibly thrilled with my breast implants! From the first consultation, to the day of surgery and the post-​op visits to follow, the experience was a smooth and comfortable ride. The only thing I wish I did differently was find Dr. Batra sooner than I did!

I had been referred to Dr. Batra, and always thought he had done excellent work. I always wanted bigger breasts growing up and felt embarrassed for my small boobs. I finally worked up the courage to go to a free consultation for a breast augmentation. I loved how honest Dr. Batra was with me on what size I should go maximum (375cc), so that’s exactly what I did since I had small B’s before surgery.
He made me feel so comfortable right before surgery even though I was pretty nervous going in. Surgery and recovery was a piece of cake. I stopped taking pain meds on day 4 and had absolutely no bruising (although everyone is different), and was back at work a week later.
I couldn’t ask for a better surgeon and I love my outcome!!! I get compliments all the time on how perfect my breasts are and would recommend him to anyone! Including my good friend who also got a breast augmentation from Dr. Batra and can’t stop talking about them! Thanks Dr. Batra, you and your staff are amazing!

Dr. Batra performed my breast augmentation. He was referred to me by friends who have gone to him in the past. His staff is professional and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. The surgical center in Encinitas is fantastic. After understanding my goals and expectations, he helped me select the right size implant. I am so happy with the results and would recommend anyone to Dr. Batra. I also go to his office for Botox and will consider fillers and/​or a face lift down the road from him.

I have been seeing Dr. Batra for several years. He originally repaired a botched breast reduction and lip enhancement messed up by a well known Del Mar plastic surgeon. Since that time, I have continued to see Dr. Batra for way less serious problems and overall «fun» improvements. He is the best botox and filler doctor out there. I rarely even bruise after the injections. I have been to other doctors in the past for this and experienced severe bruising.
I went to see Dr. Batra today and after I left his office, I felt compelled to let you all know again how great he and his staff are. I just love those guys and the great work that they do.

I wrote a review prior to my mommy makeover and I need to write again and sing the praises of Dr. Batra and his amazing staff. My surgery was a HUGE success. More important than how wonderful my surgery and surgeon was, I felt completely cared for and even pampered throughout my care leading up to surgery and after.
Today was a huge day for me. For the first time in over 10 years I went to the beach confidently wearing a bikini. The only reason I was able to do this was because of Dr. Batra and his staff. And the excellent customer service and care just keeps going. I will never go to another surgeon if I ever need plastic surgery again. I am 5 weeks out of surgery, my true results are not even there yet, and I feel like a new person. Thank you just doesn’t seem to cover it. If you are considering plastic surgery go see Dr. Batra. I cannot say enough. And I still love you, Maryam!

My breasts were left physically deformed after nursing 3 boys, but Dr. Batra revived my breasts and made them perfect! I could not be happier with the customer service, cost, and work that was done to me. I had a breast augmentation (no lift) and got 440cc silicone implants. It has been only a month since surgery but I am MORE than satisfied with the results!

Dr. Camberos is an incredible surgeon. I have gone through masectomy/​reconstruction with him. He has an excellent disposition and will deal with all your questions/​concerns. You will never feel rushed. He is a perfectionist with outcomes. Safety is his #1 concern. You will find he takes extra precautions on his surgeries. He is well respected by nursing staff is the SD hospitals (I asked all of them) I would highly recommend him to any woman going through this procedure.

I was very nervous about picking the right surgeon. I am grateful I did my homework and found Dr. Batra. He and the staff were caring, professional and helped us understand the procedure every step of the way. Dr Batra counseled with me and made suggestions that were perfect for my needs. Dr. Batra is detailed and does excellent work. It is a gift to be able to see what needs to be done and be able to execute it with precision and skill. He had to carefully remove some scar tissue that had built up over the years and causing severe pain. The surgical staff were awesome. I wished I had done this years ago, I am extremely happy with the outcome & I am pain free. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Munish Batra, has left me with horrifice scarring in front of my ears and back of hairlline? Scary!!! I can no longe wear my hair up. Took him to small claims court
and the commisioner told us this case need to be a Medical Malpractice cace. wrong court!

I have been doing research the past year on getting a breast augmentation. The thought of surgery to change the look of my breasts, frightened me. I visited 7 different surgeons before I was referred to Coastal Plastic Surgeons and met Dr.Batra. I was very impressed by the facility and their staff. Especially, Nicole she is so great and knowledgable. After my first visit with Batra I already felt comfortable and secure about what size, type and approach to go by. The day of surgery went by so smoothly, and my healing process was quicker then I expected. I could not believe my results, they were absolutely better then I could of ever expected. The care and professionalism I have received after my procedure was above and beyond. Dr. Batra is truly an artist and I will forever be a client here.

I just went in for my follow up today and I couldn’t be happier with my outcome.
Dr. Batra is a true Artist. I’m six months out from my surgery. I couldn’t be happier with my outcome. My breasts are PERFECT and so is my liposuction. After having a baby and breast feeding, I was very self conscious about wearing a bikini or strapless dresses. After Dr. Batra did my surgery, I can wear anything I want. I love the implant size that Dr. Batra recommended for me. They look and feel very natural. Thank you Dr. Batra for giving me my body back.

Began as a surgeon who didn’t even want to take my case to a surgery that did NOTHING to help me and had to be redone by another EXCELLENT surgeon. From the first meeting to the last, I was greeted with arrogance, disdain and a generally SOUR and unhappy man who called himself Dr Batra. In my entire life I never met a Doctor who seemed to HATE his life & patients like this man. Good luck to you if you elect to choose this doctor. Our first meeting he literally suggested I find a different doctor but would take my case since it was «urgent» requiring surgery. I wish I had the time then to wait but I was told at the hospital prior to get this surgery done NOW.
Never again will I be rushed into surgery with someone who immediately made myself AND my wife completely uncomfortable in every way imaginable. Never, EVER again… Oh and that smile in his picture? Google some more because it is the ONLY smile I ever saw on this mans face. He clearly just displayed either anger, frustration or plain hated the world in OUR time spent with the man. If you go to this practice, look and be aware. Follow your GUT! Nothing can undo the nightmare of his surgery for me. Maybe someone else will see this and when YOU get that same feeling? Run, just RUN.

Dr Batra replied to my review. He holds himself in high esteem. Actually when I worked with him in the ER in Encinitas he was known to refuse to come in to see patients without insurance when he was on call. He was rude to the ED staff.
This was a while ago, and he may have changed his ways by now. As a consequence of walking away from me in the Surgery center Aug 22nd I now will have to suffer for the rest of my life.

Dr. Batra is outstanding at what he does. I Had a BA done by Dr. Batra and couldn’t be more happy with my results. The staff is friendly, warm and extremely helpful. They did a great job while I was in recovery.
Like anyone getting cosmetic surgery I did my research and had consults with many other Doctors. Dr. Batra was by far the best Dr I saw. He is straight to the point and gives his honest and professional opinion without any pressure of up selling you. His website is great and he really does do flawless work. I will definitely see him again for future cosmetic procedures.

FIRST CLASS EXPERIENCE. I had a fantastic surgery with Dr. Batra in December of 2013 at the age of 43, and it has been a first class experience all the way. I’m excited about the results, and I have recommended the good doctor to three people including my mother.
It took one year to make my decision for surgery. I performed research, and I interviewed three surgeons before selecting Dr. Batra. The other two surgeons are located in Beverly Hills and La Jolla. The surgeon in Beverly Hills wanted to do more things to me than I thought were necessary; the surgeon in La Jolla didn’t make me feel as comfortable as Dr. Batra regarding his expertise.
Originally I wanted two procedures performed. Dr. Batra actually talked me out of one of the procedures because I didn’t need it. He was right, and I greatly admire him for his support in that area. He put my best interest first, and he save me a lot of money.
The procedure I ended up having Dr. Batra perform eliminated a problem area that had bothered me since 2000. The results are outstanding. I look and feel better than ever. He is the fountain of young. And, I had no idea that after the procedure Dr. Batra would continue to follow up with me as much as he does. In the last five months I have been back four times for follow-​ups. He answers my questions and really makes me feel comfortable about the healing process. Everything has come together nicely. I feel like a new man. It was worth the money — every penny.
Dr. Batra’s staff is amazing as well. Everyone is very nice, and at this point they all know me. I feel like I’m very welcome every time I visit the office.

I cant believe its been more than a yr already since my first post… just an update I am done with all my surgeries and I am very happy with my results… Dr. Camberos worked with me for the last year n a half and has been so kind and caring. Although I am done with surgeries he still sees me every few months for follow up and makes sure I am well. I would only recommend Dr Camberos and all the kind and caring people @ Coastal Plastic Surgeons… I would also like to mention Dawn, who has been an amazing supporter and a very sweet, caring, n kind person.
