Coffee couture just sold. :-(New owners are nice, so far it’s going ok. The old owner MAX served the best lattes, cappuccinos and espressos in San Diego. I went here everyday. Man I’m going to miss perfection. I’m a ridiculously picky coffee guy. The end of an era. But I’m hopeful that it will work out well. It’s only been a few days ;-)

Poor customer service. I ordered brewed coffee to get a quick cup of coffee, I had to wait for the cashier to take other customers, and make their specialty drinks for them before she poured an already made ready to go cup of coffee. There was even A second cashier but did not help out, she took new customers and helped them with pastries while I am still waiting for a brewed cup of java!!!

The coffee here gets all of the stars. The breakfast bagel sandwiches, not so much. For a $ 7 bfast sammy, I expect better than cardboard. The egg was bland, bagel not really toasted as it was just warmed up & the onions tasted weird. The staff was really friendly, which almost makes me feel bad for the review. But, I have to be honest. Next time I am ever in the area, I’ll give the lunch sandwiches a try. Great coffee though! And a nice place to sit in a booth & just chill out.

Is it possible to give zero stars, one girl makes the bagels and sandwiches, while the(owner?) Anf other 3 girls stand around and showing pictures on their phones. Coffee wasn’t very good either but considering it took 2 minutes to make the drink and 20 for the sandwich. This place used to be alot better., won’t be returning any time soon.

Local fav — gave 4 stars rather than 5 as they seem to run out of a number of sandwich options early in the day. Overall, staff are sweet and drinks are great. Would love to see more help on Sunday mornings as the poor girl who opens has no help and there is always a line — a good problem to have and an easy fix! We love supporting small, local businesses so happy to see them doing well. Bonus: The oatmeal raisin cookies are the best!

Been here twice, once for breakfast and for lunch. I had a museli? It was a very heavy oats breakfast with a berry. Not sweet but I barely ate it as it was bland and heavy for something advertised as healthy. I also ordered 2 different turkey sandwiches for lunch. One had fresh avocado on sourdough which was good. The other one was a bit spicy(kickin California?) but not bad.

This place is mainly a miss for me, but has a few items worth getting. For food, I recommend the California Turkey sandwich or their Kicked Up Turkey. Their coffee and teas are delightful. I’ve also tried their Turkey Pesto panini, Very Veggie sandwich, and their Brunch Sandwich. All of these were boring and lacked flavor. Their paninis needed more filling and I was very disappointed with my Brunch Sandwich. It sounded great, but all the ingredients were below mediocre. Not to mention, their service is horrible. I was 1 of 3 customers one time and after placing my order, I sat outside. After waiting awhile, I went back inside to find my food just sitting on the counter. They were hardly busy enough to not tell me my order was ready. Apparently they have crepes on Saturday and my husband has tried to get one and had only been successful 2 out of the 7 times he’s tried. They say they’re out of batter, the person making the crepes couldn’t come in, they weren’t sure when they’ll sell it again, or they were only serving omelets that day. I’ve told him to quit trying or else he’ll be disappointed again. :P

Excellent latte, great service, wide variety of food. We’re lucky to have this caliber of coffee right in the neighborhood!

Their acai bowls are perfection!!! $ 6.45 is a little pricey for a bowl. But it ends up being worth it! #addicted

Max is an artist! After years… DECADES…of Keurig, Starbucks and worse coffee, enjoying outstanding coffee once or twice a week is mandatory at Coffee Couture! On Saturdays, Sarah makes homemade omelets to order with fresh ingredients. I recommend the white mocha. My 9 year old daughter recommends the hot chocolate, of course.

I have lived in Tierrasanta for two years and have never tired this little coffee shop. Today we decided to stop in. I did not have the same issues with staff that others who have left reviews. I found the staff warm and friendly. We ordered a coffee, quiche, smoothly, and grilled cheese. The good: Atmosphere and staff– warm and friendly open and had a happy buzz. Smoothly– fresh no added sugar and exactly what we were looking for. Quiche– yummy, warm, cheesy, and nice crust. The not so good: Coffee– tasted burnt. Cheese sandwich– although cheese was wonderful the sandwich just wasn’t worth the cost. We may stop by again for another try but not certain we will be back. All in all it was a cute coffee shop in the neighborhood.

I’ve lived in the area for a while now and seen this place go through many changes. I think this latest iteration is the best of the bunch. I’d give this place a 3.5 but I can’t so we’ll round up. The staff has always been friendly here. And that hasn’t changed. The menu items, though, have gotten better. I’ve become a fan of their sandwiches. They aren’t the greatest, but pretty good. The coffee is another thing that’s gotten better here, although a bit inconsistent. Most days the coffee is good. But on occasion you’ll get something that’s a bit watered down or not sweet enough or something like that. I order virtually the same drink every time so perhaps it’s who makes it. What I like about this place is it’s walking distance from my place so I’ll take my dogs over there and we’ll relax outside while I sip my coffee. Then we have a nice walk back. They also have a doggie bowl for water if you ask. This place isn’t the greatest, but it’s a decent neighborhood coffee shop. I’m glad we have something like this nearby.

My first thought when I walked in was ‘HOWCUTE!’ ATMOSPHERE: It was very quaint coffee shop filled with the usual coffee shop goers, the guy on a lap top, a couple outside sipping from large mugs, a musician-like character, ladies chatting and brunching, etc. the place had an inviting atmosphere. EMPLOYEES: super duper friendly! Answered all my questions about the products, coffee, etc. Were genuinely happy to be working there! DRINKS: Coffee had a good flavor, we ordered the dark roast. LOCATION: right off the 52, a perfect place to grab a coffee on the way to work or on the weekend. FOODMENU: They have a case of pastries — background: top row including croissants are made in-house. Bagels are from Einstein Bagels and Muffins and bottom row are from the Living Room. They have great offerings of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, will need to go back and try it out.

They have different flavors of lattes! I had a Raspberry Chai Latte. Good Stuff. I happened to stop by here when I was at the Post Office in the same parking lot. And need to remind myself that I should keep coming back here. It is a small café serving coffee and food. I saw on the menu a variety of sandwiches. I have the quiche, which was really tasty and the crust was just right. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing. There are some tables and chairs set up outside. As well as a limited amount inside. In case your meeting someone this would be a nice place to do so. i saw several people having what looked like work meetings.

I’m fortunate that Calabria is willing to supply local coffee shops with their product. This saves me a twenty minute trip to North Park, as I have the alternatives of a quick pick up at Cowles Mountain Coffee, the Calabria Coffee Cart at the Zion Kaiser Permanente facility, or a comfortable, relaxing break(or work session) at Coffee Couture in Tierrasanta. This coffee shop is an interesting hybrid of a Italian-style coffee bar and a suburban malt shop, offering muted light, a few outlets and decent Wi-Fi, and great food and coffee drinks. The owners are obviously intent on delivering a quality product, and are just as obviously proud of what they’ve built in Coffee Couture… as well they should be. If you’re in Tierrasanta and need to work remotely, or if you’re looking for a safe haven from hipsters and your kids, give Coffee Couture a try. You’ll be happy with your decision. ****************************** Caffe Calabria: Cowles Mountain Coffee: Caffe Calabria Coffee Cart:

Just reading that this coffee shop has been there for many years! It just happened that they did some coffee catering at my workplace and my colleague and friend Vero fell in love with the flavor of the coffee. I thought they were Café Virtuoso but no, Vero did some research and found out they are Coffee Couture and that… surprise! They also have food. So we went for lunch hour to Tierrasanta(not an area we usually go) and had our lunch & coffee there. I got a panini with salami, provolone and turkey and it was fantastic, made to perfection. My friend liked her big sandwich too. Our cappuccinos were great too, but we expected them to come in ceramic mug and not in paper ‘to go’. That makes a big difference for is! I think when people do to consume at tge local, the cups should be the real deal. Is more enjoyable! Ambiance and décor very nice, many tables but not huge. Good feeling with that huge mural poster on the wall, not your usual Starbucks. Wi-Fi worked well. Not that i will go often but recommendable for catering at parties.

Stopped by here for my morning medium Americano with of touch a room, but when I realized they made breakfast sammies, well I just had to have one. In addition to the great robust Americano I had, I also ordered the Colorado Breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, ham, red onions, roasted red peppers, cheddar cheese, all on a toasted everything bagel.( ) The sammi was great, and this place makes it right stuffed, with flavorful sliced ham, not with a single slice of ham like some place provide.( ) The ham tasted great, and the eggs were well seasoned, fluffy, and dotted with roasted red peppers. The cheddar cheese was melted throughout the sandwich, and the everything bagel was toasted well and good. A great breakfast bagel sandwich. This place makes some great eats and homemade baked goods as well( ), but what I also liked was the hip, energetic, and well just happy. I enjoyed the service and the food very much. Great Americano too…
