Business Owner

Bernard Kohan co-​founded Comentum Corp. in 1996. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has been involved with the Internet since it’s early beginnings. He has collaborated with engineers from BBN Planet, the first Internet Backbone and through his writings, has helped shape some of ARIN’s policies. He worked with of the first web servers (httpd) and the first version of Bind, a DNS server, and has wide and respected knowledge in all server technologies: HTTPD, POP, SMTP, DNS, network, security, and routing; and was building complex ecommerce applications in early 1998. Recently, Kohan has created a PHP programming framework to benefit Comentum’s clients.

He has built Comentum’s strength based on his philosophy of a strong partnership, honesty and integrity, good communication, solid teamwork and providing the best value possible for clients.
