I had a good experience with these guys. They fixed my iphone quick. It was pretty simple, the battery was expanded and they swapped it out. Then I found the new battery was dying rather quickly and required more charging than normal, so I called them back up and they put in a brand new one– no questions asked. Seems to be working fine now. My point is they are affordable and fast. Worth it if they are nearby for sure.

These dudes have ‘saved my life’ more than once when my laptop has crashed. Efficient and reliable; I trust them whole-​heartedly with my equipment and I highly recommend their service. Grateful.

No issues. My daughter’s Iphone 5s screen was replaced at a fraction of the cost of the Apple Store with less hassle and wait. The phone was out of warranty and I didn’t have Apple Care on this one. The repair was done in under 20 minutes. I saw a few of the past reviews but a fellow parent at my daughter’s school recommended these guys and she had multiple phones repaired over the years with no complaints. No complaints from me either.
Ok, note my new review! After continued problems with my daughter’s phone, AFTER the screen replacement i discussed above, I went to the Apple Store. For $ 129 vs $ 90, Apple can replace the display and all attached components, not just the glass itself. I said do it. Guess what? «Someone» removed my Iphone logic board and replaced it and the only time that phone has been touched by a non-​Apple third party vendor was during the screen repair above. As a result, Apple no longer considered it an Apple device and declined to repair it. I ended up getting a new phone and will chalk the $ 90 spent above as a lesson learned! Buyer beware! Just go to Apple!!!

This transaction happened over 9 months ago and I still think about it every time I have computer work done. I had a laptop where I had it previously diagnosed that it needed a new motherboard. I special ordered the motherboard and with my laptop showed up at Omar’s house of horrors chop shop. I show up a couple days latter, NO CALL from Omar telling me the job was complete. No mention of any problems, so he turns on the laptop and the touch pad doesn’t work at all, and the laptop literally dies before our eyes.
When I pick up the laptop I hear a CLANK CLANK. Omar didn’t even screw in the hard drives. He tells me loud and proud «DOESN’T MATTER», then he tells me «NOT MY FAULT, CASH ONLY NOW. Since I am not a IT professional I couldn’t confirm it was his work or a bad motherboard ordered so I paid him $ 49.00 for NOTHING and to gouge up my my pristine condition laptop as it looked like he took it apart with a butter knife. The CASH ONLY policy avoids all the unsatisfied customers from doing a charge back on their credit card (smart)., He literally grabs my receipt out of my hand and writes on it.

I had some problem with my iPhone 5’s charging. It was fixed by the guys within 5 minutes with a very simple solution besides charge me with 20 – 30 dollars with some «fake» repair or part replace.

I saw a lot of bad reviews, but this place is right next door to my apartment so I figured I’d at least go in to see what they’d quote me for my repair.
My phone has been acting up for the past few months & wouldn’t charge unless I placed it in exactly the right position. It was frustrating, but at least it worked. A few days ago my phone died and wouldn’t even think about coming back to life. I left it plugged in for two days and got nothing.
I came into the shop and they told me it was probably the charging port on my phone that was broken. 15 minutes later my phone was charging! In the time I was there they had two customers come in that had apparently been in before. The guys gave them both huge discounts for being returning customers.
The service was fast, the guys were helpful. No complaints at all!

Don’t understand all of the * reviews. That certainly wasn’t my experience. I’d been told it would cost more than $ 200 to fix the smashed screen on my Nexus 4; there’s something special about it. Omar got it done for about $ 60. Quick, easy, on time and as promised. I guess the phone repair business is pretty competitive and Unilocal can be a little slow at removing bogus reviews unless you’re a paying advertiser.

Client BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! I went in for a simple iphone 6 screen repair and got ripped off. They were trying to charge me $ 120 (wth!!) so i said no thanks that it was too much and walked away. I was followed to my car then told it would only be $ 100. Weird. Being in a hurry and desperate for a functioning screen i agreed.
I should’ve inspected my phone better upon receiving it back to me after the «repair» because that night i saw a new DENT on the side of my phone indicating that they jammed something in between the frame and the glass to pop my old screen off. I went in for them to FIX my phone, not DAMAGE it more. I was meaning to go back the next day but i was too busy with work. The following week, my phone fell from a very short distance (from my bed onto carpet floor) which should’ve been fine and caused no damage but the screen completely popped off! I was so pissed! The impact was so minuscule, it shouldn’t have «popped» off that easily. I finally had a chance to pay them a visit to ask them why this new dent was there and why the screen popped off so easily?
The owner, whos name is Omar (found out via negative Unilocal reviews other people have left, so its not just me!) immediately accused me of «ATTACKING HIM» before i even got a chance to finish my complaint. i calmly apologized for him taking my feedback as an «attack» and explained that i was not attacking him in any way but that i was a paying customer who came in with a complaint. I was complaining on the service not attacking him personally. I showed him the dent, i showed him how my screen is now lifted and light shines through the sides. He said all damage was MY FAULT. He took no responsibility at all. This upset me and i told him that the type of dent left on my phone was impossible to have occurred due to me dropping it because the dent was outward not inward. He then said I MUST HAVE DONE IT TO MY OWN PHONE. I asked him what reason would i have to pop my own screen off my phone? He began ARGUING WITH ME which i was not prepared for, what happened to the customer always being right? I asked him not to argue with me and to please listen to a customers complaint. He then SARCASTICALLY AGREED saying «ok, im not going to argue» and RUDELY began nodding his head in an exaggerated way and saying «mhm, okay» after every single word i said even if it meant interrupting me. I asked him to stop for that he was now being rude and that there was no reason to act childish and that he was making me want to leave a negative AND HONEST Unilocal review warning people of his poor customer service and rude behavior.
during this whole time, his coworker kept laughing and giggling to himself while i was complaining!!! Are you kidding me?! at first i payed no attention but he kept laughing until finally i had to address him and asked him why he found it appropriate to laugh at me? He had nothing to say but mumbled words under his breath. IS THAT HOW YOU WERE TOLD TO TREAT PAYING CUSTOMERS??!
OMAR THEN PRETTY MUCH TOLD ME TO GO AWAY AND DARED ME TO LEAVE A Unilocal REVIEW SAYING THAT HE DIDNT CARE WHAT I HAD TO SAY. «I PAY Unilocal» he said. Uhm, no you dont. hence the whole purpose of Unilocal.Its by the people, for the people. «I PAY Unilocal $ 500 EVERY MONTH AND THEY DO WHAT I SAY AND DELETE BAD COMMENTS» then winked at me! Ew. What a liar!!! And even if he did, i would leave the same review every single month so THE PUBLIC KNOWS NOT TO COME HERE. EVER!
I do not understand how people have left positive Unilocal reviews to be honest. after the crappy attitude and bad behavior demonstrated to me today by the owner, especially with saying he «pays Unilocal» i wouldn’t be surprised if he paid people to lie and leave «good reviews».
PLEASE LISTEN TO THE MULTIPLE Unilocal COMPLAINTS MANY PEOPLE HAVE LEFT and save your time + money and find a good legit place to take your business to because this place legitimately sucks.

Red flag after red flag; extremely poor quality of work; misleading prices; poor customer service (by the owner/​manager); no receipt/​proof of purchase unless requested, and seemingly illegitimate way of honoring the so-​called lifetime warranty. Sketchy and not worth it.
I brought my iPhone 5S to the kiosk on Rosecrans with a shattered screen.
– Firstly, there are two signs outside of this kiosk; one that says «$ 45 Flat Rate Any Repair + Parts» and a second sign that says «$ 65 iPhone Screen Repair.» (See Google Street View) Apparently, that means the cost to repair an iPhone 5S screen is actually $ 80. When I asked about the variations in pricing on the signs, I was told $ 65 is the price to fix an iPhone 4S. Misleading, but not a huge deal.
– The repair took a total of about 1 hour and, when I received my phone, there was a purple hue on the top left portion of the screen. It wasn’t extremely noticeable but I knew it wasn’t supposed to be there. So I walked back to the kiosk and the gentleman who fixed my phone said the purple hue was a result of one of two issues: either there is too much pressure on the phone or the motherboard was damaged when the screen initially cracked. He said that if the problem was indeed the motherboard, there was nothing he could do and I would have to replace the entire phone.
– He replaced the screen once more in an attempt to relieve pressure, but the purple hue didn’t go away. I asked if I could at least have a discount on the overall price, and he said no, but that all devices repaired by Computer Geek 911 come with a lifetime warranty, and if the issue worsened, he would replace the screen again. It’s then that I realized I wasn’t given a receipt. How did he expect to honor my lifetime warranty with no record of me even being a customer? Keep in mind they only accept cash. When I inquired about not receiving a receipt, he took out a blank piece of white paper and scribbled down the date, address, price, and type of repair, and signed it… no joke. (See photo) The fact that I actually had to ask for a receipt, and was given this, is a huge red flag to me.
– Fast forward several hours later, and the purple hue has grown to a large hazy oval right in the middle of my screen. In addition, the entire left-​hand portion of the screen is not completely attached, so that it makes a clicking sound when you gently push down. I even recorded a video of the sound.
— That same evening, I called their second location (the location I’m reviewing now) and spoke with the owner, Omar, about the problems with my phone. His tone on the phone was defensive and slightly aggressive, and he quickly informed me I could come in tomorrow at 10 a.m. and they would put my old shattered screen back on.
Okay? It was clear to me now that I would have to go elsewhere for a quality repair.
– I brought the phone in at 10 a.m. the following day and showed Omar both the purple hue, as well as the unattached screen and the clicking noises. He dismissed the purple hue, saying he didn’t know what caused that, but blamed the unattached screen on the fact that my phone was «dented.»
He waved it in my face, repeating, «It’s dented. Do you see? It’s dented,» about seven times, literally, before I firmly said, «Yes, I see that.» I knew the dent had nothing to do with the entire left portion of the screen being unattached, because the «dent» he was referring to is, first of all, miniscule, and second of all, located on one tiny part of the top left side of the screen. I told him a dent of such small size and in that location likely wouldn’t be causing the entire left side of phone to detach. He was hostile and unprofessional, continued to defend the quality of the service, and did not apologize once. Horrible.
–I returned to the kiosk, and thankfully received my full refund without hassle. The young man who initially fixed my phone offered to attempt to replace the screen once more, but I let him know that I did not trust this business and would be repairing my phone elsewhere. He was apologetic and polite, which I appreciated.
– He then replaced my phone with my old shattered screen and let me know he did attempt to fix the problem once more by replacing my phone with a new screen, and realized what the issue was. He said he thought it was highly unlikely that two parts were damaged, and that I shouldn’t have this problem again when I go elsewhere to repair it. Again, he was very apologetic and polite, but I simply cannot recommend this business to anyone.
Side note: That same morning, I took my phone to a trusted location and they replaced my screen for $ 75 – $ 5 less than what I paid here. No purple hue. No unattached screen. No clicking. No issues.
I should have gone there in the first place, but Computer Geek 911 is right down the street from me, and I mistakenly chose convenience over quality.

They were awesome!!! I walked in there with a laptop that wouldn’t charge and walked out 20 minutes later with a working laptop. There prices are reasonable and they are really nice.

These guys are hustlers… Got quoted 3 different prices and kept going up for a simple screen repair. Then when I left they said they’d match or beat any price by ten dollars and then tried to get my business on the original quote.

I found their products on craigslist, a mac book pro charger being specific, so I went there and they gave me a higher price.
Then when I asked for the receipt they asked me for an extra 5 $, they said that was because the taxes, and then if I wanted a week warranty they asked again for more money.
WTF?! they are like pirates, I won’t go there never again, the worst service.

This place is terrible! I took my phone, my daughter phone, and my other daughter 2 month old Mac book for cracked screens. They all broke within 2 months of being fixed. I retook the Mac book in and it broke again within 3 weeks. They don’t know what they are doing. You are better off to go to Apple or a 3^rd party authorized person to work on your apple products.

Wiped my computer clean, replaced the screen, saved all my childrens pictures all in 2 days for $ 180. Threw in a free wall charger (valued at $ 20.-$ 25.). Fast, friendly and professional.

The first time I heard about this place was from my sister’s boyfriend. He got a MacBook charger because he hadn’t used his laptop in years, so he wanted to get back into the Apple club (just kidding…)
He told me how it was just $ 25! I didn’t believe him. I went for myself, and there it was, $ 25. Plus tax it was $ 27. It works perfectly, and beats paying $ 80 at the Apple Store or $ 20 on Amazon then having it fry/​die/​something after a week.
The people at both locations I’ve been to (Convoy and off Rosencrans) are both nice guys. If you need cheap, but quality products… This is the place to go!

I would give them zero stars if possible! Make sure they know what you want to actually have done on your electronics before leaving it. AND make sure you get some sort of receipt. They deleted all my engagement photos from my computer and when I picked it up they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about salvaging the images (the whole point of me taking in my computer). Such a bummer. Just choose somewhere else. This place is NOT legit and only takes cash.

I’ve taken my computer back to this repair shop three time now, but the problem persists. I have a Trojan virus, and I feel like they are not going deep enough into the system directory to get at the root. The first time it was ok for two days before the slow down. The return trip they assured me they got the back door, and now I’m back the third time and angry. If it is beyond your skill set, you should not have charged me (twice) and you should recommend me where to go next. This is not OK.

I would give 0.0 if that was a option. I had my 14 year old daughter call and ask if they have iphone 5 battery and how much, I believe it was the owner who she was speaking with he told her $ 40.00 was a little rude to her. I went to his shop he said it was $ 49.00 I think he was trying to give me a hustle regarding the battery I know I only needed a battery because the kiosk in the mall the took off screen and showed me the bloated battery I would have gotten one from them but they were out.
he then said to me cash only I said goodbye very rude and by the look of these reviews I was right in leaving very SHADY I like to see businesses like this go out of business and really his claim to fame is Kevin Falconer lol hahah
