They made great healthy meals in minutes for friends at my house and a group that now loves coming back over and over. Learn the difference of how to get more nutrition from your food and preparation and cooking in less time. It’s fun to go to the cooking classes and they teach your kids what they use to teach us in school. Great job guys!
And For those that meet them at a healthy event like a walk a thon complaining about them all I can say is, you would think you would be happy to learn about them if you are so into health!

First time here. Cooking class is awesome and learned a whole lot. We ate a roasted chicken, broccoli cheese rice and a beet salad. The chicken was really moist. I am so glad I came it will really help me cook in my new cookware.

My husband and I bought our cookware this past Friday and we can’t wait to use it! We hung out at the 70’s costume party tonight, and it was FAR OUT. Everyone was Loooo-​king good! And the deserts were delicious and nutritious to the max-​Can ya dig it? The Cooking 4 Life family is the real deal and that ain’t no jive. Ya’ll keep on trukin’

Highly recommend this cooking class — fun and a great team building session with my salespeople! Scott and his team helped us learn, prepare and enjoy a wonderful meal! It was informative and fun! Scott’s group helped us make broccoli salad, pesto salmon and berry cobbler! Delicious, nutritious and our team bonded!

I started going to cooking classes here and discovered how delicious foods can be while also being super healthy. Most of the recipes specialize in gluten-​free, vegan, or vegetarian. Even though I’m not any of those, I appreciate the healthfulness of the foods and am amazed by the fantastic flavors that emanate from the healthy ingredients. I have gotten my 11-​year-​old daughter to join me at the family friendly classes, and now even my husband enjoys going with us!

I attended a cooking class with my co-​workers. We were split into teams and each made a few dishes and presented them when we were done and all got to enjoy our healthy dishes together. We all had a wonderful time, the staff were amazing, and we came away from it with a sense of camaraderie. I would highly recommend this to other offices or groups!

Fantastic food prepared in such a healthy and easy and DELICIOUS way! The cooking class was informative and fun. There is such a great atmosphere of support.

Ernest cooked for my family and was so great! At Open House, there’s awesome food, awesome people and a TERRIFIC cooking system!!! I personally am down 22 lbs in just a little over 3 months. There are so many health benefits, it’s just a no brainer! If you are health concious and/​or looking to change your eating habits but need a little guidance, I highly recommend contacting Cooking 4 Life. Once they opened my eyes to how I was preparing my meals for my children, and grandchildren, I was so embarrassed and shocked to say the least! I have learned so many health tips in an array of different topics but it all starts with what you eat and how you prepare your meals. We are truly blessed to have had a chance to learn of this great organization!

Chef Yolanda prepared «healthy» soul food without using water or oil so 90% of the nutrients are maintained rather than cooked away. It was so yummy! Cream corn, jerk chicken, salad w tahini dressing, collard greens, and apple crisp! I plan to attend more classes to learn more healthy ways to cook.

Cooking 4 Life is fabulous! Melissa and Scott Currey are excellent teachers and so much fun! I cannot wait for my Saladmaster cooking system to arrive! I’m looking forward to taking more cooking classes and learning lots about easy and nutritious cooking!

If you are trying to eat healthier, prevent or reverse disease through the food you eat, have more nutrition in your food, or enjoy a cooking class than this is the place to be!
The cooking classes and open houses are delicious, entertaining and awesome with free give always!
And as always, I love dealing with a company that is family oriented! The fact they change lives for the better is just icing on the cake :)

Not sure who I felt more scammed by– the company or the friends who invited us to a «privately cooked dinner». Once we arrived wine and flowers in hand thinking this was a dinner party the hard core sell began. I understand having us try actual food but the whole 30 minutes spent on putting baking soda in water and asking if it tastes worse in each type of metal and all that is just scientific biased. Everything has a reaction and they’ve just found what they think makes them look good. What I found especially telling was that none of our friends who have bought this seem to be any healthier a year later. Proof is in the waistline.

This company has changed my life, and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love my Saladmaster set, and it’s by far the best investment I ever made.
Marcia has been the consultant that I’ve worked with, and we still keep in contact even after I’ve purchased my set. She’s always super helpful, gives me great tips, and is always super nice.
I really like Cooking For Life because they offer free cooking classes, provide great customer service, and are group of fun people overall.
If you’re a foodie, and you’re looking for a more healthier way of cooking and lifestyle without doing the «fad» diets — this is definitely the cookware for you. Although a little expensive, it definitely pays for itself in so many ways.

BEWARE! Don’t buy if you haven’t given it a long, careful thought. They have great Customer Service UNTIL you want something other than buying it. I bought it, used it, and wanted to return it immediately, and after a month of calls, they finally told me this right expires three days after you sign the bill. BUT I got the cookware a week or so after I signed, so my right to return it expired WAY BEFORE I had the chance to use their product. ABSURD? I thought so, but apparently they don’t, so I’m stuck with this VERY expensive set of pans that I never use and feel totally scammed.

I am going to review the in home «cook for your friends» prize only.
I was with a friend at a charity 5k and Cooking 4 Life had a booth. Had us spin a prize wheel and my friend won a meal cooked in her home for friends. She was asked to provide a date right then and there and I agreed that my husband, kids and I would be there too.
We arrive at the friends armed with two Stone growlers of beer ready to have a good time at 6 on the dot. They were not there yet (the Cooking 4 life) people. Finally she arrived and said she would be cooking for everyone and that we just needed to observe and fill out some questionnaires.
If beer hadn’t torn down my defenses, I would have already caught on. THIS WAS A SALES PITCH! Pure and simple!
She was there to sell Salad Master. Not to «teach» us how to cool healthy for our family. In fact, the food (except for the salad) was tasteless. She cooked chicken thighs without seasoning. Yuck! I don’t care how good the cookware is, the food will taste gross without seasoning. Mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes steamed without anything? Frozen corn and peas with no salt?! Come on!
After dinner, we adults were ushered to the dining table to discuss buying our very own system. The cheapest of which is $ 3999 by the way. Okay. Who can afford that?! The one pan I would have bought was $ 950. Who can afford THAT?! I finally had to tell her that I was not her target demographic and even though my husband and I make plenty of money, this is not how we want to spend it. I would have bought the pan for $ 200 or less and cook my way with my flavors in it. But almost $ 1000?! No way!
I felt we were misled about what to expect. At the race, she said we won a home cooked meal but after that night, I felt like we lost. Valuable time we can never get back!!!

We just had a representative from salad master come to our house Friday night and were pleasantly surprised. While we loved the cookware, for us at this point in our lives to spend that much when we are trying to pay off our debts, just isn’t feasible. My MIL has salad master, and she bought her set FORTY years ago and it’s still going strong. Even to make «payments» just doesn’t make sense, I know they talked about saving money because you’ll buy less food, but TBH we eat a lot of bulk, so I just can’t see my food costs going down THAT much. We do however, see us purchasing these products in the future.
The food was great despite not being seasoned (they do this on purpose so you can taste the food as it is), we also try not to use salt when we cook so we thought everything was delicious. Everyone in the family loved the salad and chicken the most :) And the representative was great, very funny and very informative, and I felt he genuinely cared and wasn’t just trying to scare us, specially when he recommended healthy options for food that had NOTHING to do with the cookware he was trying to sell. And even though we didn’t buy anything, I felt no pressure to buy, which was what I like best.
I AM however, taking advantage of asking a few friends to come for dinner so I can get some free items! Even if I have to pay a certain amount for «shipping» if it’s only $ 25 that still is not a bad deal for cookware.
If I had any issue, was that it did take long, the rep was at our house at 5 pm and left at 9 pm, but again, we did have a good time. So definitely plan to make a whole evening out of it if you do have them over.
BTW they gave me 2 tickets to go to their cooking class for sitting through the presentation and we are definitely taking advantage of that! :)

Being a person who cares about my health and what is in my food, its taste and how much nutrition it retains, I was very happy to attend a cooking class that I bought for half price on groupon. The cooking class was great. I learned 5 different dishes and a lot of interesting facts about food. I’m going to do as many as possible!
During the cooking class I voluntarily filled out a form that was asking me questions about if I would be interested in hearing about a cooking system that would make food more nutritious and other good benefits. It also asked if I would like a free dinner cooked for me. I said yes. It wasn’t hard to see that the cooking system would be demonstrated during the cooking show so I partly knew what to expect. I was excited about a company who was so into their product that they were willing to cook a free meal for the opportunity to demonstrate their product.
I was excited to both have a dinner and learn about the product. I was not let down. Allison and I enjoyed our dinner. We also clearly saw, touched, and tasted the differences between the saladmaster system and normal pots and pans. Our chefs were Glaucio and Michael. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable and I was grateful for them to explain clearly and simply to me what would make the saladmaster a worth while investment.
Its obvious after learning about the system that it is a worth investment. I will have one someday.

TERRIBLE! Completely unorganized and horrible customer service.
They contacted me because I won a free cooking show and meal for a member of their team to come to my house to cook dinner for me and my guests.
It was a fiasco even getting a date set because any time I tried to call back to schedule it went to voice mail, then multiple people would call me back not knowing what I already talked about with the last person I talked to.
Finally got a date scheduled, my friends came over, I had the table set nicely and the Cooking 4 Life rep NEVER SHOWED UP! I called, left a message and NO ONE CALLED ME BACK TO APOLOGIZE OR RESCHEDULE!
I understand this was free but a company should still follow through. If you’re not ready to then don’t offer raffles for people to win a free cooking show/​meal.

Look, I’ve gotta hand it to the owners of this place. They have figured out an awesome marketing plan to sell a product they obviously believe in wholeheartedly and I commend them for it.
Just blaming myself for not reading their web site better so I would have realized these are not cooking classes, they are cooking demonstrations featuring Salad Master Products. Again, you do NOT cook in these classes, you watch them cook, a la watching a show on the Food Network.
I’m not saying I didn’t learn anything. I made one of the recipes on the sheet they handed out of what they were making that day, and I tweaked it and it tasted good. But with instructions that included, «use #1 cone» to cut up veggies, or shred cheese with, well, only someone who has already cooked would be able to figure out how to prepare that ingredient. There were people in the class who claimed they were cooking virgins, so they must have been confused trying to make these recipes at home on their own.
And whilst the theme of this demo was heart healthy recipes and that’s a good thing, I just felt kind of gypped. We were all ahhing and oohing over the way the Salad Master skillet ($ 950!!! I could buy a small Caribbean Island for that!) cooked things quickly and more nutritionally efficient, but I just felt like it was cookware that is cost wise, out of the reach for most of us in these hard times. It was like… looky here, you are going to flip over this cookware, but you won’t be able to afford it, so don’t you feel like a loser! I did use a Crowd Crave deal for this class… and I did receive a small ceramic knife as part of the deal which was cool.
But you lose a star for asking me to write a 5 star Unilocal review so I could get another free class (shame on you guys!). And another star lost for pushing your out of this world prices for Salad Master Products on us under the guise of a cooking class. And a couple of other reviewers were right about the uncomfy chairs. If you’re making any money on these products, then please invest in some chairs that are tolerable to sit in for two hours.
And the third star was lost for allowing someone to bring a 4 year old kid to a 2 hour class that was very disruptive and took our focus off of the demo. The lady next to me grumbled how distractive it was to me before I had a chance to.
Look, I’m not saying you’re not going to get anything out of this cooking demo if you go. I’m just saying be forewarned. This is NOT a class were you are going to be hands on except for eating what they cook. And if you want to buy Salad Master Cookware, then go for it. They seem like nice people. but they didn’t show me much that I didn’t already know, or couldn’t get from a Food Network show.
