We should have read the reviews before we wasted money. I really wanted to like this place(I try to support small businesses,) but the food was awful. The lady at the counter was very nice which is the only reason we didn’t walk out. Everything was very bland. We ordered a spicy shrimp burrito, garlic shrimp, a shrimp coctail, rice and beans. It was all bad. We tried to give this place a chance, but we definitely won’t be back.

I wanted to like this place… sadly I cannot say that anything was good enough to come back for. The thing that threw us off the most was the shrimp not being cleaned. Why would you serve shrimp that way? The fish tacos were average. There was not enough salsa and they supplied very little. Batter was soggy. Rice was blah so were the beans. Never coming back.

My husband and I were drawn in by the buy 1 get 1 free carne asada fries sign outside, but we won’t be coming back. The ‘carne asada fries’ were really just fries with a tiny scoop of meat in the middle and drenched in the most bland guacamole I’ve ever had. And on top of that they don’t have green sauce and we were limited to 2 red sauces each. When my husband asked for a few more he said ‘NO’. And he meant it. He would not budge on the hot sauce rule.

Cashier coughed into his hand while handling my credit card. Fish tacos were bland. The fish didn’t have much flavor, there was minimal sauce, and the cabbage was too bitter. Salsa was bitter, too. Shrimp ceviche was not sour enough. Tortilla chips were a bit burned.

I stopped by here for my craving for shrimp ceviche and I’m glad I did! The serving size was reasonable and tasted amazing. I didn’t get a chance to eat in, but it’s a small restaurant with a cool juke box. The next time I’m craving Mexican food I will be stopping by here again.

Went here for dinner. We had a coupon for buy one carne asada fries, get one free from the local paper. I don’t know where to begin. We dined in. It’s a small place that has about 4 tables or so. The carne asada fries didn’t take too long to cook. As soon as the guy comes out with our food, I was drooling. As soon as I took a bite, it filled my mouth with flavor. I added the hot salsa & boy that really kicked in the spicy in the food. The fries were crispy, not soggy & the carne asada meat was tender & flavorful. Guacamole & the white Mexican cheese was added to the fries as well. Service was great by the guy working there since it was just me, my daughter & hubby at the place. This is my definite go to place for great carne asada fries. I will be back to try more on their menu. This place is a must try if you are in the South Bay.

This place is small, but soooo goood ! We cant get enought of the shrimp ceviche. We have gone to fancy marisco restaurants nd costa azuls ceviche beats them all. Definetely reccomend a lil pricey but def worth it ! Nd the cook is such a nice guy… Next time ur in IB stop by

Amazing shrimp ceviche! My husband and I shared an order of ceviche and a fish taco plate and it ended up being plenty of food. The fish tacos were very good but the tortillas were a bit oily, which is rare. Usually tortillas and just warmed on a dry griddle when making fish tacos. the ceviche made up for it though! It was very fresh and seasoned just right!!! I would come back again just for the ceviche. Some of the other items on the menu looked fantastic. Can’t wait to come back to try them!
