One of the dumbest providers I ever came across: After all their marketing I wanted to switch to them, but they don’t allow you to call to talk to a rep, if you are not an existing customer(isn’t that the dumbest biz growth practice?). Then I tried to online chat and their tech setup brings up a blank page and stays blank. OMG if that is the first impression of a new provider then I stay far, far away from them. I decided on StraightTalk, even though they were only my second choice, but they have nice reps who help you answering questions.

Cricket wireless has to be the most unorganized wireless company by far. Attempting to get in contact with customer service is a nightmare. Try contacting CS from your handset and the automated system sends you in circles. The service is not good. Only about 90% of text messages that i attempt to send to other cricket wireless users are sent! It’s about the same when others attempt to text message my phone. Calls are just the same when it comes to text messaging. About 90% are able to be made/received. Mind you, i’ve never dropped my phone in water and have never broken my phone. I take care of my electronic devices. Another big problem with cricket is the mobile internet/web. I find that i cannot access the web from my phone sometimes for days at a time. Once, I wasn’t able to access the internet for 5 days! What is the deal with that? I have a cricket plan that includes unlimited calls, texts, web, picture messaging. I DONOT recommend this service until cricket wireless proves that they are a reliable company and until they provide better service.
