I was involved in a car accident and got few injuries my major was the back I try pain killers but it didn’t help I went to Dr Dalia and she was amazing she toke care of me like I was one of her family members in just few sessions with her I felt the different and thanks to her my life is back to normal it was a very tough time after the accident and she changed my life I highly recommend to go to her

After straining my back while moving boxes I decided to go to a chiropractor after several years of not going. A friend recommended Dr Ruby so I went to see her. On my first visit she took extra time to understand the problems and make sure my back muscles were loosened up. I left feeling much better and within a couple of weeks and a few visits I was back to full range and no pain. I now go on a regular basis and have been trouble free for a long time.
Dr Ruby has a wonderful personality, is very welcoming and her staff is always professional. Her office is easy to get to and park, which is a big plus for me.

Dr. Rubanenko is the best in the business and I highly recommend her. I’ve called at the last second with work related stress lower back pain a few times and she was able to get me in the same day. She’s caring, kind, hard working, and hilarious. She not only dramatically reduced my back pain issues (and gave me an excellent massage while she was at it), but also recommended stretches to do at home and gave me the best ice pack on the planet after one of my initial treatments.

Dr Ruby is awesome! After an accident I was in a lot of pain in my neck and lower back. Her initial adjustment helped me to immediately feel relief. Continued therapy made the recovery so much quicker and easier. I can’t tell you how happy I am with her services. I highly recommend her!

Dalya has magic hands! During my pregnancy (and after) she helped me keep my back, hips and shoulders feeling good. I had such a fear of chiropractors and the neck snapping and back cracking that you see in movies, but Dalya helped me over come those fears by explaining everything to me and setting such a calming environment.

I’m 9 months pregnant and I started seeing Dr. Ruby a month ago. She is just amazing! From barely getting up from bed due to severe back pain I entered my 9 month pregnant with no pain at all. I wish I knew about her before…
She also adjusted my 3 year old son and was amazing with him as well! He just loved it and her. Highly recommended

I am right month pregnant and for the past month had a soreness on my upper back. I tried massages, stretching and etc. nothing helped.

Wow… First, she was so nice and patient. But most important, very professional. I already feel such a big relief.

I love Dayla. Best chiropractor I have ever been to. I have a bad back from my softball days in college and without a good chiropractor I am in constant pain. I schedule an appointment every two weeks and I don’t look forward to anything more. I feel so relaxed here. The office, the people, everything. It is like therapy for me. I love it.

I started visiting dr rubenenko after I had a bad car accident. Physical therapy and injections didn’t help. I was really down in the dumps, very emotional and sad. Wanting to give up. She motivated me to get better and look forward to not having pain. Her treatments helped my body but her words healed my spirits. I had my confidence back and it pushed me toward focusing on getting better. I force myself to swim and have been In the best shape I’ve been in a while. Her adjustments after work outs help so much!!! She’s awesome I would recommend her to anyone.

My husband found Dr. Ruby after my car accident in June. She has been friendly and kind and informative. She helped me through the process about getting treatment and dealing with the car accident and have been giving me excellent treatment since. I have come a long way thanks to her expertise, treatment, and kindness. I like her holistic approach to recovery from ultra sound, stem, massages, adjustments, and physical training to build strength. I found a lot of physical consolation through the ultra sound and massage sessions, but I think she makes you feel at ease for any step of the way so its been a positive experience. If Dr. Ruby treats you, you are in good hands!

I came to Dr. Ruby with extreme Sciatica pain and only one month before a 3 week, fast-​paced, European vacation. My flare ups were so bad I couldn’t even lean over the sink to do dishes/​brush my teeth, get in and out of my car, sit down at my desk job, stand for more than 15 minutes, and more without an immense amount of pain.
I went on my trip after 4 visits and I was so so much better! I would even go as far as saying 100%. No flare-​ups, no pain, no problems. Even though I only went 4 times in one month, I did a lot of stuff at home that Dr. Ruby assigned (proper icing, exercising, stretching, sleeping).
I’ve gone twice more since I’ve been back and I’m continuing to strengthen my lower back with newly advised exercises that I wasn’t able to do before. Dr. Ruby can easily steer you in the right direction toward better health, but you have to continue her guidance at home.
She’s professional with a side of funny. I highly recommend her!

She is the best in the business, I have been to many chiropractors the last decade. None have helped long term like she has. Great personality as well.

I have seen Dr. Rubanenko for more than nine years for my arthritis. Her successful treatments reduced the pain at my neck, shoulders and back. She always commits to her excellent professionalism, and dedicates to the patients’ well being. She writes down the daily exercises I should do at home, also makes sure that I understand the benefits of each exercise and know exactly how to do them right — with the right position, right force at the right angle… She even called my home, just to remind me to do my exercises. She provided me «self-​service» devices, like rubber bands, pulley, electrical stimulation unit, so I don’t have to visit her office too often.
Dr. Rubanenko is very thoughtful for her patients. She tried her best to accommodate my schedule, just to make sure that I receive the treatments ASAP. Quite a few times, I was in pain and wanted to see her on the same day; she would either come in earlier or stay late to add me in when her schedule was full. Dr Rubanenko also treated my son for his sport injuries in high school, which helped him to stay active. I highly recommend Dr. Rubanenko.

Highly recommend Dr Ruby! My husband and I both went to her after a bad experience at another chiropractor’s office whom we didn’t feel comfortable with or trust. We started looking for one when I was pregnant so it was REALLY important that we found one we trusted and got along with. Being a dentist, I know what it is like to run and operate a business and I can tell that Dr Ruby is a compassionate, genuine, dedicated, and very hard working doctor. That is why once in a while there may be a wait to see her. But this is the case in ANY good doctor’s office. We also liked the fact that she teaches you strengthening exercises that you can take home with you and use & benefit from for a lifetime. She doesn’t just adjust you and get you on your way.

I rarely go out of my way to write a one star review… but I had to in this case. I found Dr. Ruby on Unilocal because I was looking for a chiropractor that specialized in working with pregnant women, and she had great reviews. I made a new patient appointment and came early enough to fill out paperwork (about 10 – 15 minutes before my appointment). An hour later I was still waiting, even though I had checked in twice with the front desk to ask about the delay. I was told that she had scheduled two other «new patient» appointments before mine. There were others in the waiting room who had appointments after mine as well… so it was backlogged.
When she called me back, I told her very calmly (not angry) that I was disappointed that I had really been looking forward to this appointment for two weeks, only to be seen an hour after my appointment time, and that I have two young children at home with the childcare arrangements that go with that. She literally said to me «This is not a spa». I was shocked. I could see a nasty/​snide reply if I had been rude, but I had not.
Then she went over the forms I had filled out and informed me that the insurance I had did not cover massage, only adjustments and that she massages all the pregnant clients. She asked if I wanted to pay x amount of dollars extra and I said no. Then she went on to complain about my insurance and say that she might as well be seeing me for free because of how little she is reimbursed. I think my mouth must have been hanging open… it was so unprofessional. I wanted to leave at that point, but honestly I had been in pain for two weeks waiting for this appointment so I just stayed. She said a few more things about how I had filled out a lot of things on the forms and that she had to match that up with treatment for insurance, and that I needed to fill out two more forms before I left and then (!) she asked me to make it easier for her and not put too much information on the forms. What??? Is this an episode of What Would You Do?
The adjustment was minimal. A crack at each hip, a stretch of each hip, and a crack of the neck. That was it. Then she put me on a rolling table which hurt, so I got off it and went to the front to fill out the last two forms she wanted me to do. By the way, I filled them out completely because that is how I roll. Then the lady at the front tried to charge me $ 15 for my copay, and I told her I had called my insurance that day to make sure that my copay was $ 10. She asked if I wanted to pay $ 15 and then have a $ 5 credit for a future visit and I said «No, I won’t be making another appointment».
I left in more pain than when I arrived… which I blame on the rolling table. A couple days later I got a voicemail message from Dr. Ruby saying that my copay was $ 10 and she also apologized for being so late, but kind of took it back by saying «It Happens». She did not apologize for being unprofessional and discussing insurance things that she should have kept to herself.
I am honestly a little afraid to post this review since, she has a lot of personal information of mine including my social security number, but in fairness to anyone else that might have the same experience and wonder if they are the only ones… I thought I should write what really happened.

After enduring several months of lower back pain brought on by exercise during pregnancy, I was desperate for some relief. I’m so glad my OB referred me to Dr. Ruby. I was such a mess with chronic sciatic and lumbar pain. After the first session, I walked to the car for the first time without hobbling in months. I wasn’t skipping just yet, but I was in spirit! She also taught me some helpful ways to avoid extra strain on my back, and to avoid further injury. Her treatment really made a difference in my quality of life, and my recovery. A mom herself, she really understands what you’re going through. Her office is even kid friendly which I appreciate. I highly recommend her for treating back pain during pregnancy!

Sisters– If you are preggers and have an aching back, as I have done 3 times, Dalya will fix you UP!
I am awful about staying with my healthy back maintenance so have a major back blow out every two years or so. Each time Dalya was professional, patient and caring. She didn’t even lecture me (too much) about keeping up with my back exercises!
But honestly, the times she really saved me what during each of my pregnancies. She just has the magic touch.

Ruby is sweet and very knowledgable. I hear that over & over from so many other people who drive 30 – 45 mins to go & see her! WOW! She had a great crew of people who can take care of all your needs.

I started seeing Dalya recently in my 3^rd trimester when I started having bad back pain. Its been a wonderful experience. She is very attentive and knowledgeable. I have to bring my 18 month old son with me and she actually enjoys him being there and helps keep him busy while adjusting and massaging my back. This is such a huge weight off my shoulders. After I see her I feel wonderful and refreshed. My last visit topped it off. I’ve been having horrible pain in my lower back for the last two weeks. Im wearing a support belt and limping. Today after my visit to Dayla I am pain free! She’s so gifted!

The best Chiropractor I have ever had. I have been using her for many years, and she has always fixed my back issues. One thing that I appreciate is that when my back was really bad, she showed me exercises that I could do to strengthen my back, and they worked wonders. I still do them. For as long as I live in San Diego, she will be my doctor. I highly recommend her.
