We offer a clean, progressive technique that is a combination of the best of RAD and ABT’s syllabus.

The teachers at Del Mar Ballet meet with the director on a regular basis to ensure that the academy’s program is concise and always on track to provide the best training to each individual.

We strive for a healthy, positive atmosphere where everyone feels supported. Our classes are small with much individual attention and corrections.

Our advance dancers are on track for a professional career in ballet and dance, and/​or the best dance colleges.

Del Mar Ballet will open the doors for you with the best possible training that is not locked into a set «structure» or «stance» on ballet, but rather looks at every individual and the true potential they hold and how to tap into that in the most healthy and effective way.

History

Established in 2014.

Marie Arts is the Artistic Director and Owner of Del Mar Ballet.

Del Mar Ballet has a wonderful reputation of providing top notch training in classical ballet as well as expanding into contemporary ballet and diverse programs including choreography classes, musical theater for children, and a rich young Children’s Program. All of which, teaches top rated technique training and allows each individual dancer to express and develop their own artistry.

Del Mar Ballet has a one of a kind Adult Ballet Program, with Adult Ballet Classes 6 days a week, morning & evening!

All ages, young children through to adults, have incredible opportunities to perform with renown choreographers in creative performances.

Marie brings with her a wealth of experience in the ballet and dance world.

Business Owner

Marie Arts has extensive experience as an Artistic Director and School Director.

Marie has been previous Artistic Director with the professional contemporary ballet company & school, Ballet Nouveau. Previous Visiting Professor of Dance at Northern Illinois University teaching all levels of Ballet, Pointe, Modern, and Musical Theater.

Marie has also been a Musical Theater choreographer for Actors Academy of the Performing Arts in Boulder, CO.

She has taught and choreographed extensively throughout the United States as a Guest Artist.

Marie has been a professional classical ballet dancers with a few companies in the south, including companies in New Orleans as well as Louisville Ballet.
