I recently attended the Dia De Los Muertos in Old Town. What a crazy, crazy festival. It was November 1 & 2 and this is one of the most attended events in old town. Most of the vendors have alters which are beautiful and there are some quality people watching. There was live music and chairs by the whaley house (nice touch) and the was a parade at 8pm — really cool face paintings and people dressed up. The whole event ended at 9pm.
Be aware: parking is a nightmare, lines are insane for anything (restaurant).
