History

Established in 2009.

The Hackett Insurance Agency started by Donna pursuing a lifelong dream of being a business owner. One of the reasons for pursing insurance was that her husband was involved in a minor car accident and that led to large bills for her family. They almost exceeded her insurance maximums. Donna started researching insurance and quickly learned that she wanted to help other families and ensure they were not vulnerable.

The Hackett Agency was built on a foundation of helping new home buyers get the right insurance protections while maximizing their insurance coverage.

We are passionate about education and advising. We love talking to prospective clients and helping answer questions or concerns they may have.

Business Owner

I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. To give you an idea of my work ethic, while at SDSU, I worked 40 hours a week and paid my own tuition to achieve a life-​long dream of attaining a college degree and eventually owning my own business.

During my tenure at Farmers Insurance, I have qualified for Farmers Achievement clubs twice, ranking myself in the top 5% of Farmers Agents nationwide.

While juggling a career and family has not been easy at times, I am driven by my own personal goals and motivation to succeed. My ultimate goal is to have a strong insurance business that can grow with me.

I strive to be a role model for my children and colleagues. I currently reside with my husband Tom and my two children, Katherine age 3 and Rebecca who is 5 months in Oceanside, CA.
