Just finished a full tear-​off and roof replacement. They did a fantastic job, replacing a lot of rotted and broken wood before putting in the new composite shingles and ridge cap.
I complicated things by putting in 42 standoffs for solar panels, and was fully accommodated while I got it done — then they cut in the shingles around every standoff and installed flashing. They also made sure the whole yard was cleaned up and everything put back in place before they left. Really happy with the way everything turned out.
