Dr. Kim Piano Academy offers private piano lessons for all levels and ages. Students in the institute have the opportunity for auditions, recitals, master classes, competitions and other musical events through MTNA or MTAC (Music Teachers’ National Association, Music Teachers’ Association of California) Students learn note reading, music theory, improvisation, composition and keyboard harmony during their regular lessons. By preparing students with general musical concepts through movement, singing, games and ensemble in a peer group, students will learn the integral musical skills effectively while they have so much fun!

Business Owner
Classical pianist Jeeyoon Kim delights audiences with her sensitive artistry and colorful musical expression. In her recent performance in Chicago, Chiesa Nuova describes her artistry as «impeccable, brilliant and heart-rending.» A native of South Korea, Jeeyoon has made her way across the globe with performances at venues including FortePiano Salon Live Series, live broadcasting on WFMT, 98.7, Chicago’s Classical Music Channel, Steinway Piano Grand Opening Concert in San Diego, Nichols Hall in Chicago, Hilbert Circle Theatre in Indianapolis, Wheeler Concert Hall at the University of Evansville, GloVil Art Hall in Korea, Judson Park Auditorium in Cleveland, and at the Mozarteum Festival in Salzburg, Austria. She received a Master and a Doctor of Music in piano performance both from Indiana University with a full scholarship and a graduation with distinction.
