Specialties

*Handcrafting fair-trade chocolate into luxurious confections. Come savor our dark chocolate bars flecked with dazzling all-natural ingredients, or indulge in creamy caramels sprinkled with exotic sea salts! They go great with a drinking chocolate!

*Creating delicious dishes for our daily brunch & dinner. You’ll love the avocado benedict drizzled with chile burnt caramel hollandaise, or our brown sugar short rib! We have incredible vegan and gluten-free options, too.

*Supporting our local community! We proudly pledge 10% of our profits to San Diego charities.

History

Established in 2004.

After completing his Masters in Sculpture at SDSU, William Gustwiller began handcrafting exotic chocolates & confections with the unique perspective & intuition of an artist.

In 2007, he opened the original «Eclipse Chocolat» dessert café on historic El Cajon Boulevard!

By 2013, the once one-man operation had blossomed, relocating to the quaint walking neighborhood of South Park. Today his team of 40 proudly presents nearly 100 different confections, a few dozen pastries, & a full-service restaurant menu featuring daily brunch & nightly dinner, as well as regular special event tastings.

We hope to see you soon!
