I live about 120 miles away from this location but I would not ever buy sunglasses from anywhere else. Great selection. Unsurpassed service. Customer friendly and very nice selections. I am a Maui Jim diehard and they have the largest selection I have seen yet. I highly recommend a stop by. You sure can’t beat the location and the personnel.

Jeana is absolutely amazing! I have bought several pairs of sunglasses and regular frames with her help. She is always so helpful and gives her honest opinion on what looks good instead of just trying to sell me the most expensive frame or pair of shades. Have also met the business owner and he is just as friendly. You can tell everyone who works for this company knows their merchandise and loves what they are doing. Would recommend this business for all your eye wear needs!

Stop by on the Fourth of July to help a very picky family member :) pick out a pair of prescription eyeglasses. The female that was assisting us was very friendly and helpful. Great selection of eyewear! I plan on returning soon!

My purchase spans both the seaport village location as well as the old town location. Both of my transactions were handled by Christian. I bought a pair of Maui Jim’s on a trip to Old Town. While this review is not about the MJ’s they are perfect for me. The store was busy at Old Town but Christian made sure to say hello when we came in.
The stores are pretty typical layout for a boutique sun glasses store so its familiar and I was able to locate a pair of glasses that fit me quickly. There are only a couple brands I usually stick with and they carry all of them and have a really good selection from each brand.
I liked the pair of MJ’s so much, I decided I better get them in prescription. About 5 days after getting them I called the Seaport village location (don’t ask it was just easier). The woman who answered the phone was super helpful and able to easily understand what I wanted to do and gave me all the instructions and help in exchanging the pair of glasses I just bought for a prescription pair. She informed me that the gentleman who helped me at Old Town would be in the Seaport store that night to assist me in the transaction. She made sure to follow up with him and let him know I was coming in and what needed to be done.
When I came in Christian did all the measurements, entered my prescription and made sure everything was accurate. At this point I can’t wait to get them back in prescription! Great personal service so far, I tend to be a very loyal customer when I get service like this and look forward to shopping here in the future. I hope Maui Jim is fast!

Great, friendly service. Had a problem with the first pair I bought… Went back after two days with out the receipt and they took care of me. I was really pleased ;I recommend that if you’re looking for a pair of shades that you should check this place out!

Walked in because I forgot my glasses in Portland. The employee assisted me with getting the right pair for San Diego and also when I got home. Great service!

Excellent Service!!! My wife and I were on vacation in SD, March 2013and had stopped in at Eclipse Eyewear. My wife bought a pair of Tory Birch sunglasses that she wore for about 4 months when the arm on one side of the glasses separated from frame. We called the store and they said no problem just send them back and they would send out a new pair. After the store received the sunglasses, they called to say that particular pair wasn’t in stock but they could either send the what they had but in a different color then the original, or they could order a new pair but it may take 3 – 4 weeks to come in. We elected to order the same pair, and waited for them to come in. About 4 weeks later I had forgotten all about the glasses when the store called to say the manufacturer was sending the new pair and they would forward the following week. The next week the sunglasses arrived on time, and perfectly new. The store provided outstanding service and communication, and my experience was positive from beginning to end.

***Update 17 Dec 2012***
Eclipse sent my glasses back to their optician to take out the de-​center in my lenses. They also threw in a complementary AR coating, and shipped my glasses by USPS Overnight Express to me as soon as they were ready. There was also a personal handwritten note along with my glasses apologizing for my experience.
I feel better about Eclipse, but I also learned my lesson. +2 more stars for customer recovery!

I had a GREAT experience with Eclipse Eyewear! Jeanna helped me find the exact sunglasses I was looking for — if they don’t have them they will order them. She checked all of their stores for me and really went above and beyond to help me. Their prices are standard, they have a great selection, and you know that if you buy from here you will be taken care of. Excellent!

I bought my very first pair of high end sunglasses today! I’m so happy it was at this place. Stacey was so helpful and made me feel comfortable. Not only was the costumer service great there was a large variety of lenses and brands to choose from. Stacey showed me glasses she thought would be a good fit for me which made the process easier. I’m letting all my friends know about this place when they are looking for a nice pair of sunglasses.
