They were on time at a location in Valley Center to deliver to a piano to La Jolla. They know their stuff — this is what they do and they are good at it.

I called Encore last month and they said they could move my piano with steps. This month I called them and they said they were really busy and could maybe squeeze me in. Then I get a text saying that they don’t do steps and referred me to San Diego Piano Movers. Interesting way of doing business but glad I got a referral.

Easy to get an appointment and easy to work with. Most importantly they were extremely careful with my piano. They mapped out where they were going with it before actually moving it and then took great care to avoid any contact with walls. Cheapest quote that I got calling around too.

Artistic Pianos hired Encore Piano Movers directly after we purchased a piano from them on a Saturday. On Monday, the Encore office called us to set up a day and time for delivery, and they were very flexible with our somewhat-difficult schedule. They also agreed to move our old piano to a new home, and did that at a fair price. Jeff and his crew did a fantastic job with both the new and old pianos, and gave us lots of tips about our new piano, such as when to tune it, how to position it, etc. Highly recommended!

I called Encore on Monday and left a voicemail with my details. I received a callback with a very competitive quote within a few hours. After waiting to hear from another piano moving company(who ultimately never called back), I went ahead and called Encore back on Tuesday. They scheduled my move for the very next day(Wednesday morning). The two guys showed up on time, were professional and courteous, and moved the piano in place in a grand total of about 15 minutes. It was a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

These guys are the best! Customer service is top notch from the first phone call to the final delivery. The woman who I spoke to on the phone was polite and helpful. She followed up with reminder calls regarding the delivery time frame and the movers arrived on schedule. Jeff arrived at my house with the piano, moved it in and even replaced a piece on the piano that was missing. Jeff also gave me in tips on where to find a matching bench and a piano tuner in my neighborhood. I highly recommend Encore if you have a piano to move.

These guys are good! They were on time, and handled my 7 ft piano through some tight passageways very quickly. They even gave me some advice on taking care of my piano, and what to tell my tuner. Efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. A+!

I found a great piano off Craigslist that I wanted to buy, but I had no idea how to move it. I found Encore Piano Moving, and they were fantastic. I was a little concerned at first because it seemed to be a small business run out of someone’s house. All my fears were allayed. They were very professional, arranging pick up time and location very smoothly. They arrived at the pick up location before I did. They were very careful and secured the piano well in the truck with lots of padding and ties, and they moved it into our house so carefully and smoothly. They took extra caution to ensure that the piano did not get jostled and that it did not damage the entryway, etc. They placed it in the spot I wanted and made sure I was happy before asking for a signature and leaving. They also advised us not to have it tuned until one month later after the piano settles to the indoor environment. It turns out that all they do is pianos, so they really know how to handle it to ensure there is no damage. I wouldn’t trust regular movers with a piano, and I was so pleased with their service.
