Not sure why there is mayo on a meatball sandwich. No mention of it on the menu as an ingredient. Might be aoli. Totally ruins my lunch. Incredibly difficult to order over the phone with the staff using a credit card. Panini was pretty decent but again, ingredients not listed on the dish kill it for me.

Love the steak salad, Hawthorne panini sandwich and choice of red wine. The atmosphere is low key and not in the main core of Little Italy

My husband and I used to be loyal customers years back, in Enoteca’s heyday. Things have gone downhill considerably in our absence. We have decided we are officially broken up with Enoteca Style. Unfortunately the service is now lackluster, as is the feeling of the place. The bathroom was not all too clean. The clock/​decoration (that’s been there since years’-past visits) probably has not seen a battery change or a dusting since they opened. The sealife TV screen saver we used to enjoy watching is frozen in one scene.
We arrived 9:00 last Saturday night. We were the SECOND couple in the joint. It must have been at least 80 degrees inside, and there was a small stand up fan blowing by the doorway. I had to remove my shoes and place my feet on the floor to keep coolER. (All four outside tables were ocupado, unfortunately). If they had the AC on, it was not apparent. I ordered two white wine tastings. When they were presented, the waitress informed my husband that the cheaper option was «out» and she had provided a comparable alternative. Without choice or warning that the alternative was more expensive and that we would be charged accordingly. In my experience, when a restaurant lacks a food option, they offer a substitute at the price of the original choice or they ASK before providing the more expensive choice. Not this time, apparently. Then the panini came out. We ordered our all time fave– the India. It tasted as good as I remembered, but also as if it had been made previously and then sat under a warming lamp. The Cedar was AWFUL. The tri-​tip was so undercooked it was almost raw. I spat out several pieces due to consistency. Disgusting!
Eh. Thanks for the memories, Enoteca Style. You were good, and then you weren’t. Hopefully you can reclaim your former greatness. Until then, good luck!

Great place! Really great wines and try the tomato basil pesto plate … So fresh and yummy! Love Melissa she gave us great service and some tastes of new wines! Definately coming back!

Great gem! Found this spot on Unilocal go figure hahah. My friend and I went here for happy hour and wine Wednesday. Wine was great and the 50% off. We split the Cobb salad which was a lighter and healthier version than your normal diner. It was delicious! We Also Split The Steak panini, it was good but not excellent. Let’s talk about dessert omg. nutella crème brule. hands down best I ever had.
Waitress was also friendly and the place is super cute inside!

Would love to give more stars because service was so friendly and the atmosphere was nice. However, the food was underwhelming. The tuna was not fresh and I ended up throwing is away and the Panini’s we mediocre. Not a terrible place by any means but I probably wouldn’t go again.

I came here because Melissa she has awesome taste and knows her stuff I have returned here becuz this place has the perfect blend calm and sexy great happy hour service Charles (chef) is awesome very accommodating ty guys

I have a feeling if I lived around the corner, I would be in here all the time. We had the bruschetta plate, with three different kinds spread. The wine list includes prices for tasters as well, which is what my group decided to do. It was a great way to try wines that you wouldn’t normally see at your grocery store. The staff was very friendly. The prices were a bit too high for my tastes, but it was quality food and drink. It was a cute little place and I am sure I will be back again.

The food is good too, big portions. The sausage panini is like pizza on steroids… Delicious! The cheese platter is good too, lots of cheese and bread… Not tiny worthless 1 bite pieces like most places.

Great selection of wine and happy hour pains are half off and 2 dollars off the wine. Come check this place out great location in little italy!

Came here for lunch, and was completely underwhelmed.
Service was slow and the food was mediocre (and overpriced for what it is). We spent about 50 minutes of our lunch hour just waiting around: to order, to receive our food, to get our check. I had high expectations for their tri-​tip panini, and sadly left unsatisfied. The meat was bland, and the bread was far too hard.
Probably won’t be stopping by here again, unless it’s just for the wine.

Amazing, came in late, even after the kitchen was closed and they still let me order food, the drinks were great and very well priced!

This place is a block away from my apartment! And we always get the cous cous salads w/​chicken… These are the best salads around. So many different flavors…
Hard to say what’s all in it…
I’m giving it a 5 star cause not once has it let is down… Always top notch and fresh.
Only issue is that after tip it’s $ 40 for 2 salads so it’s a bit pricey… Hasn’t stopped us yet and I’m sure it won’t…

This review is solely for the service. And it is the terrible service that will have me never return here.
I came here on a Friday night with my boyfriend and we sat outside. Our waitress, at first, checked in several times to see how we were doing. We ordered a bottle of wine and told her that we’d need a bit before ordering food. She must have gotten frustrated with us at this point because after we did order (a meat/​cheese plate and a panini) it literally took over an hour for her to bring out the food. Then, once we were done, we asked for our bill and she literally made us wait another 30 minutes before I just went up to the bar and paid. Even more so, we had a Unilocal deal for 15% off. According to our bill, this should have been about $ 11 – 12, and she only took off $ 4. At this point, I couldn’t even complain because I was so annoyed. We paid our tab and walked out.
My boyfriend had been meaning to take me here since one of our first dates and four years later, we finally visited it. Perhaps I was too excited due to this, but service like that (rude, ignoring us, and clearing up and engaging with tables around us) is unacceptable. Really, really disappointed.

Not sure why this place isn’t slammed all the time, but I’ll like that we can always get a seat. Not thinking I really liked paninis (often overcooked, hard, and tasteless except for mushy cheese in the middle), I am a huge fan now. The Ash panini is amazing. I’ve had it 3 times in a row, and I tire easily. If you like Italian ham, pepperocinis, and bread, I defy you not to love it!
Even better, they have this meal deal that runs all day every day (who does that?) for a half panini and a salad or soup (get one of the cold or hot soups!) for $ 10 and add a glass of house red or white wine for another $ 5. Duh.
Our new favorite spot in Little Italy (but why aren’t you open for lunch on the weekends, you cruel tantalizers?!). Add a mosaic tile, basement atmosphere, and some interesting scuba or waterfall or whatever nature thing on TVs (except sports, thank God, unless it’s World/​Euro Cup, and then how dare you?!), and it’s a sublime place to chat it up.
And they have free wifi, if you get bored with your friends (here’s a clue: choose better friends), but this is a place to hang with friends (outside or in), enjoy some wine (very reasonably priced), and get your foodie on with the paninis or great appies.

This is the utility belt of wine bars. First date? Check. Business lunch? Check. Sandwich shop? Check. Great take out option? Check. Pre game spot? Check. Tapas bar? Check. Great wine list? Obvious check. Great beer list? Check. Friendly staff? Check. Bar seating? Check. Cushioned booth seating? Check. Outside seating? Check. Good music? Check.
You’re probably thinking this place must be massive and packed with all kinds of people. Well it’s not. It’s never crowded, it’s small, and a little dim. Just the way I like it. We always get jealous of the people who live in the apartment complex above. Prices are middle of the road. Definitely a place where I could hide out all night.

Kevin is awesome! Friendly and helpful made the experience here was great. I haven’t been here in years, but nonetheless great wine and food with the cozy ambience, not crowded which makes for an enjoyable intimate dinner. Tonight I wanted the beech panini, but did the columbia panini with aged cheddar and prosciutto with crostini. All for the win! I’ll be back for the cedar panini.

Been here twice now and both times service was very slow. Friendly, but slow. It seems they only have one person working the bar and the tables on weekdays.
The food is overpriced. Tasty, but overpriced. They advertise a $ 15 lunch special (½ sandwich with soup or ½ salad and a draft beer) but the items on the regular menu are $ 5 each anyway… so it’s not much of a special per say.
The ingredients are fresh but very scarce… can I peas have some more motz and meat for the price? :o
Atmosphere is quiet and chill, slightly pretentious (that may explain the high prices) — I don’t think I’ll be goin back anytime soon…

I stopped in this place on a cool evening and found the place to be quite cozy. So I settle myself at a nice table facing the bar so I could watch the action, and action I watched, if you know what I mean. While I was there I noticed an item on the menu that I do not see that much around town, the Bresaola, an Italian dried and cured sliced beef (
), so I just had to order it.
The plate of Italian Bresaola came with beautifully thinly sliced beef that had a deep red rich color, Thyme Honey, Toasted Almonds, Organic Arugula, Olive Oil, Shaved Parmesan (
) $ 11. To enjoy it with, I ordered a side of bread in the form of crostini for $ 2 (
).
The bresaola was nothing like a prosciutto, with its salty characteristic, but with its full beef flavor, and lean and delicate texture, it was its own definition. It had a slightly musty, spiced, and grassy scent that was interesting, but were it shined was its great beef flavor. The thyme honey went very well with the meat, and with the nutty shaved Parmesan, well it was a great treat to eat, with the crunchy crostini (
). The only bummer was that they did not provide enough shaved Parmesan cheese. (
) The organic arugula was a smart choice, with its peppery flavor, that went very well with the beef. The toasted almonds and drizzled olive oil were a nice touch, and helped bring eating the bresaola to a content experience.
The lady who served me was patient and friendly enough. She took a little while between orders, probably because they had here keeping the bar and the rest of the tables, including mine. Nice place to have a glass of wine and pick up some small eats.
